  1. ‘Star Trek: Picard’ Production Paused After More Than 50 Test Positive for COVID-19 (Exclusive) More than 50 members of a staff of over 450 people of ‘Star Trek: Picard’ Production tested positive for COVID-19 Monday, which was the first day back to work after the Christmas break. Production on the series was immediately shut down Monday, but could possibly resume as early as next week. Picard films in Los Angeles and was in the process of filming seasons two and three back to back to reduce costs and to better accommodate production schedules. Season Two was originally intended to premiere sometime in February, it's unclear if the production shutdown will cause a delay in Season 2's release.

United States of Al (5.4 mil/0.5), Ghosts (6.2 mil/0.6) and Bull (4.6 mil/0.4) all rose in the demo while hitting audience highs for the season.
  5. Doesn't seem nearly as funny as the first season, but it is too early to judge. I am just glad it is coming back.

  9. Is it better to be dead or to find another way to serve her ship and her friends, even if it is in a more limited capacity. Remember the crew gave up their previous lives and their families in order to make sure that the information she contained remained available and safe from people who wanted it. Now she just plans to kill herself, why did the crew make the sacrifice to go to the future if that is the outcome. Zora should be willing to give up just as much to insure that she can still provide protection for the crew as they had to, to protect her.
  10. As Gwyn struggles to find her role aboard the U.S.S. Protostar, Dal tests his leadership skills in the newly discovered holodeck. Original Airdate: Thursday, January 6, 2022 on Paramount+
  11. I am not so sure why the Zora problem was so either or. Either she is the ship's computer or she is dead. This right after placing another consciousness into an artificial body. If they consider Zora a sentient, one of a kind being, wouldn't killing her be equivalent to genocide. The fail safe switch could download Zora into an artificial body and upload a standard Spaceship Operating System (SOS). How functional the body is might be based on how big a threat they felt Zora was. There could be a fully autonomous body where Zora would be a standard member of the crew, all the way down to a non-mobile brain in a cube, air-gapped from any of the ship's functions.
  12. The major cholera epidemics in the US were around 1830 to 1860. To let you know how long ago that was, this is when the setters were fighting the Native Americans for their land. Nancy was played as a modern woman with modern morals, not a woman from the same era as Hetty.
  13. GUEST CAST: Rachael Harris (Sam's Mom Sheryl) Nadine Djoury (Peggy Sue) Rodrigues A. Williams (Dennis) Betsy Sodaro (Nancy) Stuart Fink (Stuart- Cholera Victim) Nigel Downer (Nigel – Cholera Victim) Arthur Holden (Creepy Dirk – Cholera Victim) K.C. Coombs (Sondra – Patron)

  15. It seems like in the new Beavis and Butthead movie that is coming to Paramount+, Beavis and Butthead will be old. Here are some concept sketches.
  16. ‘Archive 81’ Trailer: Mamoudou Athie & Dina Shihabi Uncover Sinister Secrets In Netflix’s Podcast-Inspired Horror Series The original Archive 81 podcast launched in 2018 and ran for three seasons. 17. I think it was purely based on her profit margins. I think she found some untapped markets (ailments) that the pharmaceuticals the company made might be used to treat and successful pushed into those spaces.
  18. He did, but his old company hired him back to be in a different department. You will meet his new marketing crew in the next episode.
  19. Whoops, I guess I am big enough to admit when I was wrong. The only good B.O. is BO44!
  20. I thought this episode was interesting because the next episode is about the $10,000.00 car that Katherine announced this episode, the Payne Pika. I am not sure how well new comedy shows that do not have stand alone episodes do in the ratings. But, it should be easy enough to find all the episodes and watch them in order. Maybe having a serialized comedy show will force more people to do just that, instead of just catching an episode here and there. Although not laugh out loud funny, the show is a little thought provoking about where is the line between competent and incompetent at your job. At least they reduced the number of characters in the background, so that I was nearly as distracted as I was with the first two episodes. I liked that they reined in Dori's character and made her at least slightly competent, so that we could understand why she has a job as someone's assistant.
  21. Black-ish S08.E01: That’s What Friends Are For Season Premiere Bow convinces Dre to attend a fundraising event for When We All Vote in hopes to make some new couple friends (and to do their part in increasing participation in each and every election), but Dre is convinced there will be nothing but dud husbands there to befriend. Their expectations are far exceeded when the special guest for the evening is none other than Michelle Obama. To their surprise, the former first lady accepts an invitation for dinner at their house. But on the evening of the special meal, the rest of the Johnsons want to crash the occasion. (I would bet money on one Johnson not crashing the occasion or maybe even the whole season, DeVante). Let's see if DeVante evens gets a shout-out. Original Airdate: TUESDAY, JAN. 4 (9:30-10:00 p.m. EST/PST) on ABC
  22. Single Drunk Female is a ten episodes half-hour dramedy series on Freeform. Back in Greater Boston, Samantha Fink restarts her life, working at the local grocery store while surrounded by all of the triggers that made her drink in the first place. Confronted with remnants of her old life, including run-ins with her perfect former best friend, who is now dating her ex, Samantha Fink realizes she can no longer qualify as a party girl—she’s a walking disaster. Samantha Fink sets out on a path to move past her worst self and figure out her best self. Kinda. The rest of the cast includes: Rebecca Henderson as Olivia, a brilliant melancholic lesbian who works as one of The Greeters at AA. Smart as a whip with an acerbic wit, Olivia is a highly regarded, Peabody award-winning PBS journalist known for her program “Off the Docs.” Lily Mae Harrington as Felicia, Samantha’s fun and fearless drinking companion who is always counting down the days until Samantha is out of rehab so they can meet up at their favorite local bar. Garrick Bernard as James, an isolating, high-functioning drunk who works in the tech industry. Whereas Samantha is on a downward spiral, James is merely experiencing a very slow and tedious decline. Sasha Compère as Brit, her childhood former best friend forever. Madeline Wise as Stephanie. Jojo Brown as Mindy.
