  1. I watched the documentary over the weekend. There's a podcast that those women did that goes into even further depth about Lularoe. I will get around to listening to it eventually. I'm not the least bit surprised with any of it. How do you keep the peasantry in perpetual servitude? I'm sorry to hear about what everyone is going through. It seems to be a sucky time for everyone. 😞
  2. This is going to be a loooooooong pregnancy, just like Meghan Markle's was. Lauren is going to be utterly insufferable throughout the entire thing.
  3. That would require Kendra knowing that there are other options out there rather than being a broodmare for Jesus. I truly wonder what would happen with this crowd if they abruptly could no longer have children after starting so young and being told it is their main goal in life.
  4. Remember Anna and the outfits she was wearing in DC when Joshley was a big hotshot? Joshley was wearing a suit to fancy functions meanwhile Anna was wearing regular frumpy day clothes? I can't imagine how she felt compared to the dressed up women at those functions. Their clothing choices imply that the women are lesser than the men.
  5. I guess it's marketing to a niche that wants it to be a relaxing experience with wine and fine dining. Might as well just wear a tiara in the bath too while you're at it.
  6. The eating in the bathtub thing is something I've seen on Instagram. I've seen a few sponsored posts for a patented board too. I'm not surprised Jilly Muffin jumped on the bandwagon. She strikes me as someone who would spend quite a bit of time on Instagram.
  7. As someone entering final exam season, yes. Yes indeed. One of the anatomy classes when I was doing my degree had a class average of 40-45%. It was a very old school prof in his 70s who had tenure. Gave no fucks, thought that they should be the same as the students from 1980. It was fun to sort through the scantrons because no two scantrons were alike. There was no rhyme or reason statistically on what answers they got wrong as a class. It was amazing. I am suspecting a lot of the things thrown out about the OP were red herrings. I just think though how mad would Derick be if the internet thought he was getting As. I almost suspect that he would be mildly pleased that the internet has been told he's not about to fail out of law school. If it came out of his mouth people would accuse him of lying.
  8. I have a dishwasher. Its name is PikaScrewChu. I cannot wait to move into a place with an actual dishwasher. I batch cook on Sundays so I don't have too many dishes to worry about. Dishes drive me nuts. I gave in for a while and was just using paper plates and forks.
  9. It's a bit odd to see a TAship in a law program but I wouldn't rule it out. I would be furious if I was Derick. But that's also accounting for if Derick is a normal human being. He might like the attention of someone saying he got an A in his program and he's not about to fail out of law school. *shrug* Proving the haters wrong and all that. The better plot twist would be that it's actually Derick. 😉
  10. Yeah I'm wondering why that one was left unanswered. Unless sexuality is just a Not Discussed Topic and people are lifelong bachelors like Lindsay Graham. How conservative is that school?
  11. It's against privacy laws. It's annoying as fuck every time I have a student ask me for feedback about their work because I don't have a "student view" on the software we use so I can't pull up their work on a whim and hide the other students' grades. I have to ask them to leave the room for a minute so I can pull up all their information and assignments. However I've worked with course directors and colleagues that would spill that sort of information. I TA'd for a prof who used to just put the students' multiple choice exams in one of the lab rooms and told them to find their own exam booklet (that is if they circled the answers it definitely was a privacy violation). If they had an issue with the Scantron then he could go to their office and sort through the piles of Scantrons to find their own. That meant they had access to everyone else's answers, even if he was in the room. There was only one prof in my department that followed the law to the letter and the students got pissed off about it. Stopping here before this gets too off topic. It does sound generic but again I was wondering if anyone else was following. Just a bit of fun to break up the day.
  12. I suspect that he'd have to be quiet about his opinions in law school. It would alienate him very quickly from faculty if he showed the slightest sign of bias within class. You need faculty on your side in order to succeed in the (very saturated) law field. Being a Twitter warrior though... Ehhh... Not in his best interest but he's not the first law student or the last that would go on rants on Twitter.
  13. Yeah I figure she got pregnant late July, early August at the latest. It's next to impossible that she and Jessa shared the same due date if Lauren announced at Michelle's birthday. Not getting pregnant on the first try like Jill, Kendra and Joy but she did conceive fairly quickly. SiRen might end up being the couple that beat Jeremy and Jinger for longest spacing between marriage and parenthood at this rate though. Probably for the best. Maybe they can start picking up the slack for Iz and Sam and whatever other nieces and nephews get neglected along the way.
  14. Anyone else following the AMA on Reddit with one of Dullard's TAs? Big, if true, that he's doing well in his classes.
  15. I've posted this before but it's impossible for Jessa and Lauren to have had the same due date. Lauren announced she was pregnant at Michelle's birthday, correct? If so, Lauren did get pregnant shortly after the wedding. Not as quickly as Joy, Jill, Kendra, et al. but fairly quickly.
  16. I suspect boy too. They would have been all over trying to capitalize on the "special news" at the end of the episode if Jessa was having a girl. May the Duggar grandchildren remain mostly boys from here on out.
  17. Well when most of the married-ins come from "birth control is sinful" families and have a no mercy rule in place. Kendra's mom did not look well. But she will reproduce until menopause kicks in. Kendra will reproduce until her uterus falls out, grows a thumb, and hitches a ride to Mexico.
  18. She probably just wore whatever shoes from the communal closet without regards to actual support. I don't blame her for going barefoot. Ill fitting shoes, especially if you are flat footed, take a huge toll on the body.
  19. Ra-Ra-Rasputin... ok I'll stop there. This is more like what I was thinking about. Although I don't know how well Dullard would be able to run a commune. Or look a bit clean.
  20. My goal was to see how much I could skirt around Howard. I was pretty successful at walking the line. Then the last day when everything was shutting down I decided to start a shitstorm (in the Duggar thread of all places) by calling out Howard a tyrant and how sad they must be by losing their little dictatorship when they obviously have nothing else in their life. 😈 I legitimately got banned a minute before the forums went offline. I was like yo Howard, you just proved my point homie.
  21. She'd have to give up her pants and nose stud though. That being said, Jill is the one that needs her family the most out of the married Duggarlings and she seems to get it the least.
  22. Who mentioned they missed TWoP? The Wayback Machine archived most of the threads! I wish it had where I got banned right before the boards were shut down by TWoP Howard.
  23. I hope Jill and Dullard stick to the two they have. I think Jill is starting to enjoy Iz and Sam now that they are older. I honestly think Jill assumed it would be just like having a buddy all over again. Having your own is much different than being a sister-mom to one of your siblings. I've said as much in this thread and I think that's why Jill struggled with the two boys. That being said I do wonder how much longer Dullard is going to hold out with Jill and the boys. He seems so aimless. He strikes me as someone who would just suddenly disappear one day and then resurface in Siberia three years later claiming to be Jesus.
  24. "They Needed a Sacrificial Lamb for TV Ratings. It's JD's Turn!" Is this the last episode of the season?
