  1. Somewhat of a fluff episode but hey, it is Valentine's week, LOL! I, too, thought that perhaps Gerty's death somehow may have been related to Quo Vadis but no, sadly an opportunity to show the callous relative (Nora) who wasn't any better (personality-wise) after they removed the tumors. Gerty actually saved her life and she's still ungrateful and petulant - what a bitch! We've seen how unscrupulous the Quo Vadis CEO is and the instability of the product. They've just dropped that storyline for the moment although I'm sure it, and all the "trappings", e.g., Bell, Julian, Greg, will return in sweeps week or season finale. Could have done without car-sex guy; it really didn't add much to the episode. Maybe I misread it but I found, at times, the smirky, facial expression funny on Kit - perhaps "reminiscing" about some of her "good times" in a car, LOL! Kit and Bell - I'm just not buying this. It was fairly obvious, to me, that she would be his love interest when they brought her on board and Lane left. Yes, Kit is a seemingly good person but for me, a better plot twist, than a straight-forward romantic interest, would be an ulterior motive, i.e. long-lost friend of Lane's and is seeking revenge against Bell or maybe just revenge for all the underhanded things he's done throughout his career. Bell has done so much dirt (and continues to do so) yet, it seems as if they're changing his character--as if he's realized his evil ways and making amends/atonement. That's OOC (out of character) for him! However, I'm sure he's up to more despicable behavior; just a matter of time. Finally, agree with another poster - what's happened with the hand tremors? They've just disappeared; he's cured? That was something the writers shouldn't forget as that was/is pivotal to his storyline and why he has the moniker HODAD! Anyone else notice how much surgery he's performed lately? Hope whatever short-lived drama there was with Connic has passed; they seem to be on solid ground--at least for the moment (no Dr. Alex these last 2 weeks!) Mena and Micah - I don't think she'll say "yes"--at least hope she won't. Micah is a good guy but there's just no chemistry between them and should have been more of a platonic relationship, siblings, something else. I think Mena has feelings for AJ but won't act upon it since she's with Micah. And I believe it would be an AJ to melt her "unromantic" heart. Now, the "dilemma" is hers!
  2. Points well taken and if that's the case, Bell should be written out this season with all his underhanded dealings and cover ups with Quo Vadis (let alone having killed a patient) but presume he is a primary character, so he'll stay. And yeah, have his tremors simply vanished or is he on drugs? He seems to be jumping in doing (more) intricate surgery as of late!!
  3. This was the unlikable episode--April, Natalie and Bekker!! Can the writers make April anymore unlikable and obnoxious? Agree with some of the other comments about the nurses (Doris and April ran neck and neck). They are there to do a job, no matter who the patient is--so unprofessional. But April's out of control, e.g., glaring and closing the curtain in Choi's' face; even more reason for Choi to walk away. And even though his suspicions were wrong--as if she's never made a mistake/read a situation incorrectly based on information at the time; at least he thoroughly investigated and was man enough to admit/acknowledge it to her--I'm glad he hasn't/didn't totally acquiesce to see if they could possibly get back together but remain friends. HE should have said no one needs a friend like you! Manstead - finally!! Guess this trainwreck of a relationship is ultimately over but Manning was so unyielding, unwilling to listen - it makes her unlikable as well. it seems as if she was looking for a reason not to marry him especially after the facade of a make-up session in the previous episode. And Natalie is as bad as Halstead with her misdiagnosis and mistakes. The reprimand from Goodwin was too lenient, imo. Bekker & Rhodes - terrible thing to say but I was hoping maybe that this would be her demise; that she would be HIV positive and written out. But my hopes were dashed. Happy Conner didn't stay when she offered (is he still feeling guilty or will he stand firm on their impasse?) Was glad to hear that Dr. Latham is at least "still there", LOL. We need to see him again! Lastly, who couldn't see the foreshadowing and predictability that Maggie would be a match and donate a kidney? I'm talking to the TV saying, "no Maggie - don't be a match" but of course, the writers went with the standard trope. Have the writers run out of ideas so they take snippets from other successful shows for their storyline? The predictability and yes, foreshadowing, of these patients and cases is just ridiculous. They either need new writers or put on some new thinking caps; the mindless writing they give me weekly has grown old.
  4. So Adrian, who I'd forgotten about, is exploiting/misleading people and making a buck as well. Who couldn't tell Alice was unstable the moment she walked in to the dr.'s office (and after attending the Church of the Returned?) The way Mic disarmed her was almost funny - it looked really awkward but guess she got the job done.. I've grown tired of this focus on Call as well; now he's the Holy Grail? Oh puh-leeze! It seemed odd that Mic would have stayed with Zeke for several days in the cabin (can they really trust him; did he really have an experience) and then to invite him into Ben's house with Cal's suspicions/sense of danger? Grace seemed happier at the table with Cal and Zeke than she did with her own husband. And speaking of awkward - right before Ben left to find Alice, I thought maybe they were going to kiss (after she said "be careful"). They just looked at each other--and not longingly, lol! Mic/Jason/Lourdes - anyone really surprised here? And why does the aggrieved spouse typically confront the cheatee and not the cheater? Lourdes was just as weak-willed not to confront Jason. Mic and Jason need therapy and of course, it won't be entirely smooth sailing for Mic/Jason but they'll eventually get back together after the perfunctory protracted drama. I still don't care for the majority of these wooden, stiff-acting characters (or the actors portraying them) which makes it a struggle, at times, for me to watch and engage in the show. I realize you have to suspend belief when watching some TV programs but this is ridiculous. Additionally, guess I'm not really a supernatural fan and this show has no continuity--showing recaps of previous episodes then picking up as if it happened last week. A bit discombobulated as I forgot about Adrian but presume they had to think of something "different" this week.
  5. Good medical episode even if a bit unrealistic with the triple transplant surgery. Rather predictable it had only been performed once successfully and typical touch and go with her and parents but happy they all pulled through. Cautionary tale with Jess's high school friend (Lettie) which only confirmed Conrad's suspicious about Jess. no real surprise she returned to her bad habits to Nic's disappointment but realization that she (Nic) can't help Jess until she wants to stop using. Glad it appears Connic are on better footing this episode. Are we to assume she's spoken with Conrad about Jess? It would have been nice to show vs. making us presume what happened. Why did Devin keep Priya's picture on the fridge (and put spoiled milk back, LOL) after calling off the wedding and pining for Julian? Let him be the hero to find Julian and get on with it. I din't want them together--especially on the "how"-- but if that's what the writers want, ok - meh. Love Mena ad Austin ("Mentin") together--professionally and personally. Have been a fan of Raptor since inception as he's confident, self-assured and so gifted/talented without the hubris, arrogance or bravado. The chemistry and tension between them has been there since the beginning. I'm a bit surprised if the scene from next week is "real". IMO, it really doesn't make sense if Raptor is actually proposing - it's too soon but we know how the writers like to tease and it is Valentine's week! Bell and his tangled web hasn't gotten strangled (yet) and Gordon Page is not/should not/will not go quietly. We know it's a matter of time before he meets his demise--by either Julian or Bell--but what will be the consequences to Bell. Bell can't continue to be Mr. 9-Lives; he's gong to have to pay somehow. It was apparent Kit would be Bell's "love" interest after Lane's departure. Maybe she has a hidden agenda on Bell? Hope there's a better plot twist than simply a love interest.
  6. Just a few comments for this episode. We all saw it coming but I don't like the slow descent/deterioration/doubt of Connic's relationship. What did I miss with this sudden and/or gradual change with them--pre-Alex? Why is Nic pulling back when I thought they had finally resolved their differences/had emerged stronger as a couple (we know she had a miscarriage earlier in their relationship; she having doubts again?) Don't want Conrad and the little boy’s mom to gt together; just no. Too obvious--just like Nick and Alex. Guess I'll have to ride out the drama. Loved the tenacious Mena - we knew should world prove Dr. Austin wasn't responsible and especially loved how beautifully done Raptor called out Abe at dinner (with Mena there, naturally). I’ve always loved these two together! The epidemic - did it really have to be the bulk of episode; it wasn't that interesting. Finally, Dr. Bell - what is he NOW suddenly interested in Page's background? He knew the man was a snake from the beginning (just as Bell is) so what this attack of conscience? And yeah, we've already guessed the little kid will have a defective valve. Appears Julian will make a reappearance for next week's episode - Devin to the rescue, LOL!!
  7. Did this seem like the longest hour ever?? Sorry but this episode just dragged and there was no drama; everything seemed so predictable (and the acting was terrible.) Maybe one of the WORST.EPISODES.EVAH, imo Recap: The alcoholic dad (figured that as soon as i saw the water bottle, especially after the jaundiced/liver failure diagnosis). I thought they'd go down the physically abusive road with mom/son but took the more mental abuse - moreso with the kid. "Boiled over" (Rhodes/Bekker) - he asked a couple of questions, which of course, she denied. So now, he "doesn't know what to think"??? Hated the side-eye, side-long glances from Choi and April. Can you make him look any more desperate and pining away? You really want her to have the upper hand now? If he goes crawling back to her, they just deserve each other. Down Syndrome - took that almost directly from a L & O SVU episode. Manstead - what can I say? You saw that, e.g., reconciliation, coming from a mile away When she asked him to move back but get rid of the gun, the expression on his face said, "you just won't know I've kept it" and what happens, goes to the police station but doesn't turn it over - no surprise there! Lastly, does anyone else see the possibility of Sharon and Dr. Charles dating---I hope not!
  8. Issues an dilemmas in this episode. I realized Pravesh was upset/distraught because they lost Bradley (didn't realize they were such good friends) but he (Pravesh) seemed so detached and insincere with Marisol at that initial meeting. Whatever your problems, don't let the patient see them. However, she was so worried about her pain she probably didn't notice his behavior--but I did. Anyway, it all somewhat worked out for him in the end--Marisol's "diagnosis" was revealed, surgical sponge removed and Pravesh's confidence is restored (saved a patient). I'm still none too happy with him. Bell, once again, after some "soul searching" (yeah, right!), does the "right" thing by not blaming anyone. Will this cover up and defective Quo Vadis valve have repercussions down the road? I was a bit disappointed with Mena (conversation with Bell and Greg?) about Austin--it gave them a scapegoat, initially, but then she somewhat redeemed herself with the end conversation with Bell. He's still a slippery slope and a snake but always comes out smelling like a rose. He needs to be taken down a peg or placed in a situation he doesn't get out of so easily. At first, I thought they would pin it on Austin at first and this would/could be a reason for Julian to mysteriously return to "save the day". Didn't happen, thank goodness, but doesn't mean there won't be another similar situation. Poor Dr. Austin - doesn't know his mentor, Traitor Abe, sold him out (his "deal" with Quo Vadis). Will there be any tension/conflict/damaged relationship between Mena and Raptor or has it passed since Bell pretty much falsified documents? Nic and Alex - just NO but yeah, we can all see the innuendo not only with "Nalex" but also the awkward moment at the clinic with the mom and Conrad. I'm begging the writers not to go down that predictable road. Again, the writers should be able to tell compelling medical drama without the character assassination (they've already done it with Devin). Don't make me find that eye-rolling emoticon, lol! The secondary story with Aubrey and grandfather - good conclusion to what could have been a really misunderstood (and was) situation. Good thought but I'm not so sure these writers can pull that off--or would even think about that option! They are still going to have to deal with bringing back Julian (I don't believe she's dead) so one thing at a time, lol!
  9. I don’t care what they have to do to get rid of April and Eva but JUST.DO.IT. I’m so disappointed in Choi; he’s a bigger fool than I thought. And yeah, April was jealous, envious and so unprofessional, rude, and high-handed with Vicky and Choi, I wanted to reach in the TV and slap her. She acted like a spoiled brat with that challenge and check to Vicky and Choi. I thought for certain Vicky would catch them kissing but if April is what Choi wants, i.e., a pathetic, weak, indecisive, petulant child—rather than a beautiful, smart, mature, intelligent, rational and accomplished woman--then more power to “Chapril” – they deserve each other…UGH! I’m disgusted with Choi and his choice. I’m even more disgusted that I’ll have to see this trainwreck over the upcoming weeks and watch the disintegration of a relationship he had with a good woman! What a waste *sigh* Hopefully, the sh!t will hit the fan now with Rhodes and dad about what transpired with Eva. She’s manipulative, devious and deceitful--personally and professionally--and I desperately hope this is the beginning of the end for her. Halstead is out of control as we knew he would be. Deliberately subordinate with Ms. Goodwin, excludes the biological parents and advocates for the surrogate who had no rights. Yeah, he should have been put on unpaid leave; counseling is too easy since he’s such an omnipotent prick. So it looks like a near death experience with Nat for next week’s episode and that will be their (Manstead) saving grace – these pathetic plot devices just make me roll my eyes! Poor woman overdosing her mom not knowing she was in early stages of Alzheimer which prompted a light-bulb moment for Natalie on Will’s condition. He (Will) seems to exhibit just one of the classic PTSD symptoms, e.g., behavioral such as irritability, agitation, hostility and not so much the psychological, mood or sleep issues. But whatever, this crisis next episode will pull them closer together, I’m sure.
  10. Thanks - appreciate it!
  11. Agreed! S1 and 2 were, imo, excellent S3 - I began to see some cracks and by the end and into the current S4, for me, it has gone off the rails. I hope they can get it back on track if there's a S5. There's nothing worse than to continue limping along with a show--simply because of (less than stellar) ratings--when you have poor storylines, plot development and sabotage/assassination of the characters.
  12. All valid points but for Devin and Priya - I don't think there relationship was really ever explored (for us, the viewers). It just seemed from the beginning they were together for a "long period of time: but who knows, Maybe both were just resigned to do what they thought (or their families though) was best, e.g., marriage so it could have been a relief for both. I still stand by he shouldn't have waited until the wedding day to tell her. It just seemed odd and disingenuous on his part not to have said something sooner if he wasn't in love with her. The fact that he was so immediately smitten with Julian and then consequently had doubts about his relationship with Priya (?) just rang false. . It would have been better if he'd even said something to the effect of, "look, let's see other people" long before the wedding. True about villainous Bell; he'll come out smelling like a rose no matter what the situation Guess they didn't want to have 2 villains in the show, lol! Time will tell with Dr. Shaw; I just grow tired of the same scenario.
  13. Yeah, I did and thanks. Guess I thought this show hadn't returned yet. I updated my post before I saw your reply (I'm all caught up now!)
  14. No surprise with the Captain (reminiscent of badass Beckett) but that's to be expected with Alexi Hawley at the helm! The Captain and Chen looked like sisters or mother/daughter. UPDATE (S1, E9): I somehow did miss episode 9 but have now caught up (deleted my original questions below). It wasn't a bad episode; a bit more action than normal so that was a nice departure. I couldn't quite make out what the ex-cop woman said. Obvious he was going to be cleared after going in with the West's dad. All I can say is that Nolan and Chen should have NEVER been together from the beginning. I think it could have been just as interesting--perhaps even more so--if he and the Captain were having an affair (I don't believe she's married).
  15. Too funny - you must be a Castle fan as well as I thought exactly the same thing at that moment!!
  16. IMO, Devin is a douche and to have know "medical sales rep" woman for what a few weeks just doesn't make sense for him to throw his life away with Priya (after all those years). It was an infatuation with Julian and it seems the writers are trying to make it something deeper. If Priya was being written out of the show, it would have been simpler and easier for her to still have the job offer in San Fran and he decided to stay. At least the relationship would be "saved" and he wouldn't look/be such an ass! There really was no need to have the "other woman" scenario other than cheap, soap opera trope. Again, I lost all respect for him and it was a foolish decision to have it end that way. Agreed - Bell should have dangled a bit longer but maybe the attorney (or whoever he was) has another copy and it will eventually come to light (doubtful, though). WOW - Most on this board have immediately presumed the new doc is definitely a bad guy with secrets. Maybe for once, the writers will just leave it alone and he's a decent guy (again, doubtful). out to do good. Of course, writers need drama for drama;s sake--can't have "2 Conrads", lol! It's just a matter of time with Austin and Mena but I think they're better suited than Mena and Micah (guess he's finally out of the picture?)
  17. All so true. I'm not sure where they found these actors but there just doesn't seem to be any chemistry among them. The only one I really like is Ben; maybe it's the role he plays but he seems about the most "normal", trying to truly find out what happened, trying to keep his marriage afloat (that's a lost cause but they'll stay together in the end) and keeping his son safe. And I wholeheartedly agree, don't make the entire show about the son who has the "power" to figure out this puzzle. "Mared" - MUSTS.STOP.NOW. They act like they're 10 instead of adults. If you don't love Lourdes (which Jared clearly doesn't--just a rebound) then be a man and end the marriage but don't act like neither of you know what to do - geesh!
  18. Yeah, I totally agree with that. I don't believe they were shot down but did indeed zoomed into the next dimension (and I don't think this show will actually make it to 5 season--but I could be wrong!) Pilot was too determined and they have to keep the fans guessing a while.
  19. I know this show has been criticized for it's unrealistic portrayal of medicine/operations/treatments but the majority of characters is what continues to draw me to this show. But on to the episode. I thought it was a bit shocking Lane wasn't walked out the back door--especially with sunglasses, initially. But regardless of Bell's phony "mea culpa", and now trying to grow a conscience, they're both unscrupulous, arrogant and a disgrace to the medical profession. Couldn't wait to see how they were "rewarded or punished". As my grandmother said long ago, "there are only 2 kinds of people--the caught and the uncaught". So, Bell has once again dodged a bullet (no pun intended) and Lane has met her demise although I didn't see the boyfriend/brother (?) as the shooter/assassin. How did he even know where she was staying? I know Conrad was at the wedding but HODAD would NOT have operated on my dad. I loved what Marshall said to HODAD when he came to check on him; Marshall clearly reads the type of person Bell is. I thought good for Mena - telling off Devin but was a bit surprised that he ended up staying with her. I understand the "you need help/friend" but he could have found a motel or stayed in the dr.'s lounge or with someone else. Ironic words from Dr. Austin "the heart wants what the heart wants". So is Micah out of the picture for good now? I never thought he and Mena made a good couple. For whatever reason, he just seemed so young (almost teenager like, to me) but I like the work dynamic between Mena and Austin--always have and yeah, eventually, I think there will be a connection. Speaking of connections, I like the new doctor (Alex Shaw) but seriously, please don't have him as Nic's love interest. Why can't they all (Nic, Conrad and Alex) just be good friends and colleagues. I mean not only is Dr. Shaw humble, talented, compassionate, and great doctor (as committed to providing good care and hates bureaucracy like Conrad) but also has to be handsome. I really don't want to see that tension/competition among the three or between Conrad and Alex. I'm a Connic fan all the way! Yeah, no surprise Devin is being set up but I could care less about Julian in the pond. Obvious Gordon and/or his underling/s ran her off the road. NOTE: I thought I read where she would return this season so I'm sure she's not dead. I didn't care for their storyline and am liking the conspiracy theory even less. Since he's bound and determined to pursue this, just how much danger is he in before someone saves him? I like that Conrad and his dad are deepening their bond; however, I'm going to hate the typical soap-opera trope if they kill off Marshall just as they are reconnecting and making amends.
  20. That's exactly what I thought. I will have to rewatch the episode to look for those nuances some have spoken of for this episode as I was doing other things when I watched this episode. So truly, I might have missed something. I thought he was just overwrought--didn't really get the creepy vibe--and even said to myself (when Halstead was looking on at them)--maybe Nat will get with this Mr. Davis since they can relate: Manning lost her husband; he's lost his wife and they both have a child to raise "alone". I guess time will tell if he's a predator and she's the prey or if he's just a good guy. I think (hope) he is Manning's new love interest. If so, they seem to be "introducing" him like they did with Conner and Robyn when Bekker showed up. It was obvious from jump street, imo, that Bekker would be his new love interest *sigh*. And after all this time, she's still terrible and there's no chemistry between them. Yes, it seems they're making most of the characters unlikable anymore. I miss badass Conner; he's become a wimp along with Choi : (
  21. I am really late to the party on last week's episode and some may have already voiced my displeasure with this episode. Oh, where to begin! That Ms. Curry (obnoxious blonde) - I'm not sure what she adds to the show. I continue to think more and more they should have kept Dr. Reese character. It seems the writers are trying for a similar storyline (at least imo) of a somewhat reminiscent Dr. Charles's helping Sarah with her issues when she first arrived and later with her father. I hate characters being rammed down my throat and this one adds no value to the show. I really despise the Conner/Bekker dynamic and what's with the dad? Did I miss something in an episode? I know she had gone to the dad and he provided money for the hybrid OR but did they sleep together, kiss - what?? Anyway, there's just ZERO chemistry between Conner and Bekker (I can't even say "couple"). Really wish the writers would end this "relationship". Manstead - too bad he had to return and naturally, I think we could all see that he would experience "reentry" issues into a normal life and relationship after the trauma he endured. Seriously, no surprise there at all and their relationship is so dysfunctional/passive-aggressive. I almost laughed at that stilted hospital "reunion"; couldn't he have waited to see her at home? That entire scene seemed a bit "off" for such an in-love couple and not knowing exactly what had happened. Oh well, anyway - I understand not wanting to have the gun around her son but Manning seemed to overreact a bit. Yeah, Will's a little off kilter at the moment, but he's not going to leave the gun unsecured/unlocked and in a place where the kid would find it. Maybe this is the beginning of the end for Manstead as I'm sure his PTSD will be out of control. I really hope they continue with Dr. Choi and Vicky (VA doc); much better chemistry and seemed to be such a better match together but you know this incident with April will weight heavily on him and it's obvious where it will eventually lead. One last note, what's happened to Goodwin and Maggie? They seem relegated to the "extras" now instead of the pivotal characters they once were/seemed to be?!! All of us viewers take vested interest in the characters (and most likely, we could write better storylines than these tired, overused plot devices and mindless tropes we're getting). It's so disturbing that this once promising show is on a downward spiral and is/has become a trainwreck. I don't know if it can be redeemed but if it is renewed for another season, the writers better do some serious retooling or they've lost this fan.
  22. I don't believe this show will make it a second season - or shouldn't at this juncture. You have to suspend belief at what the showrunners/writers are doing to this storyline--reading the comments provides a good clue! We, viewers, usually can devise a much better and realistic story/plot than the writers, and it becomes frustrating when we see character assassinations and stale/overdone or useless storylines/plot devices just for viewership and ratings. I thought this would be an interesting show (I don't watch many supernatural-type shows) but this has gotten ridiculous and it will be interesting to see how they fly their way out of this mess--certainly on what could have been a promising show, imo.
  23. This episode was fairly predictable on most fronts, imo, except that sadly, I didn't see the potential HODAD debacle until too late. Don't know that I can wait for almost mid-January to see what happens to Marshall and HODAD! Will Conrad go ballistic or should I say how badly will he go ballistic should anything happen to his dad now that they've made amends. Julian, I could care less if she survives (and actually thought it may have been Lane who had the "accident".) Huge miss that she didn't forward the warehouse pictures as proof and then emailed or forwarded it to a secure location or someone she trusted. I'm surprised they let Julian leave; I thought she would have met her demise there. I'm disappointed and disgusted with what the writers have done to the Devin character but no real surprise they've written Priya out. And they bring in Devin's mom to give him an "out" - seriously? Seemed disingenuous to be with someone for almost 3 1/2 years and infatuated with someone for what, 6 weeks, and you call off the wedding. Rather pathetic drama. I've lost much respect for his character. Overall, no real surprises for me with this "cliffhanger" except the HODAD operation.
  24. So, how many of you see Lane coming to her "untimely" demise in next week's episode? She's technically been written out of the show but I'm sure the cliffhanger will, literally, have her hanging over a cliff in her car--once she's out of jail. Don't put anything past Bell. Ithought they same thing but I presume at this juncture, Lane feels she has him by the balls and doesn't care if the calls are recorded/what is heard.
  25. OK - let me way first, I'm not certain why they are making Devin look inept, incompetent and not self-assured in his abilities. He's been performing brilliantly and then his silly excuse of just being "dragged through the wringer/had a crappy day" or whatever, didn't make sense. We all have a bad day but his behavior and they way they portrayed him resulted in my disappointment. His fiance doesn't seem to be pressuring him but hey are/were to be married within a matter of weeks when she received this offer. I also feel she may be grappling with something else may be going on with him (hope they don't make her totally cluless and self-absorbed) as they seemed to have a strong relationship initially. I believe she understands how hard dr.'s work and what they go through so guess they had to have some type of contrived drama to break up this couple. I despise Julian and maybe he's feeling guilty over that kiss--regardless that he's agreed they can be friends. The warehouse was so obvious. You knew the minute the CEO of ProVadis stated "everything was made in the US", it was such a blatant lie and obvious foreshadowing. It would have been better if some had caught Julian in the warehouse so now we'll see if she has the morals to do the right thing. Dr.'s Austin and Mena - great working relationship; they just seem to bond although they are also portrayed with this love/hate relationship. I knew Dr. Austin like Mena but "love"; that seemed like a rather quick jump too soon. Heart wrenching story from Mena about her siblings. Then there's Lane & Bell - will he try to double cross her again? That short-lived drama will be something to watch! They're two of a kind. Liked Connic - she's being supportive and he knows he had to pull back from the family - although we know, that device is going to be problematic. That mother can't lose another child. I had read that another character would be written off this show at the end of S2. Devin's fiance seems obvious as does Julian as they are supporting characters. The dr. and nurse (can't think of their names) who were stuck in the elevator could also be another possibility as Conrad's father. Everyone else is a bit too central to the show but you never know what direction the writers will go.
