It seems the network which airs SNW in Europe said on Twitter that they would start season 3 on August 1. Apparently those guys normally get episodes a day or so after they're shown in the US. That puts it on Paramount+ on or around July 31. Obviously no official word from Paramount yet, so we'll see.

I've struggled to find a rooting interest this season since Rose left, but I think I have one now: I want Grant to pick someone other than Juliana. Only because she would be the most fun out these people on BiP. (My inner adolescent wouldn't object to having her in a bikini for a few weeks either.) But I think he actually IS going to pick her. I'm not fully buying into this indecisiveness narrative, and I think he's not ready to become a Mormon for someone he met two months ago. Justice for Rose!

It would have been renewed if instead of country singers and power balladeers, they gave us a Tibetan throat singer, an Armenian folk singer, a yodeler, a fadista, a Benedictine monk and his Gregorian chants, a Pakistani Sufi singer, and one intimidated hip-hop artist trying to blend it together. An opportunity missed.

New Rule for the show: No more singers or songwriters. If you want a musician, there are plenty of tuba players and accordion enthusiasts who are looking for love. I'm looking forward to The Banjorette.

Also, it took me a minute but I figured out who Rose reminds me of: Lyndisty from that one episode of Babylon 5 where Vir almost got lucky. Though she doesn't look much like Carmen Thomas, the actress who played her.

I figured both Llama Girl and Dina were out the door, but no. I'm rusty at this after no BiP and skipping Jen's season. For myself, I'm most drawn to Rose, but I doubt she's going to get past midseason. I really needed that wedding cake to go flying. Isn't there a fire pit somewhere? I get keeping it out of the pool but come on.

My guess is this is CBS' way of justifying stretching this week's episode to two hours. "It's not an extra-long episode -- it's half of a four-hour finale!" (Unless next week runs three hours. I'm afraid to look.)

Genevieve's plan of "make no friends for fun and profit" is interesting. Thinking back to the zero times that's worked on this show.

At the top of my long list of complaints about this show is how hard they work to not do simple background checks on these people. I remember thinking production HATED Becca Kufrin to surround her with guys like that, but learned later all they needed was a glamor shot and proof that they're not married.
