  1. Ethan Peck is way better singing Spock than Nimoy too. We'll check on Zac Quinto
  2. The noise about Kaitlyn/Jason breaking up is getting louder. Kaitlyn's vague-posting isn't helping matters. Michael and Danielle may be on the rocks, too, but they aren't saying anything. Those losers think they can keep their private lives private, do they? Mwahahahaha
  3. YES JOEY'S MOM, DO NOT DOUBT THIS INFALLIBLE, 100% RELIABLE PROCESS!
  4. Yes, I would have to document my well-known fear of cheesecake. I could fake some testimonials, and all of a sudden I'm in the inaugural Cheesecake Date. (Are you here for the right toppings?)
  5. Same, but if they want to throw in some "consarnits" I won't hate it
  6. "YOU'RE NOT HERE FOR THE RIGHT REASONS, AGNES!" I'm in
  7. I am still holding out for a non-boring conversation out of anyone. It was a bad move to have Jojo there, because it just reminded us that you can be a lead and have a personality.
  8. From what we've seen, they might be better off picking from Rachel/Gabby's season. Anyone know if Aven is seeing anyone?
  9. Sheesh. We thought half her appeal was them living in the same town. But either way -- Zach worked for Oracle in Austin pre-Bachelorette, right? Is he still there? It sounded like he had left the area. Whether he lives in Austin or LA, it's quite a haul from Kingston.
  10. Did Zach and Kaity ever move in together? Did she leave Austin, even though she had just made him lug in and assemble all her furniture?

    Fix The Show

I expect the extra half hour is Writer's Strike related. I doubt they went into filming the season expecting longer episodes, so we'll be getting some looser editing, for better or worse.
  12. I kind of agree. All the Bachelor-themed podcasts I follow were extremely high on Charity during Zach's season and were openly pulling for her from the beginning -- but she never showed much personality that season, so I assumed I was missing something or people were assuming she was this huge pile of charisma being edited out to give more attention to the ultimate top three. But now, two episodes in, I'm starting to think there wasn't much personality to hide. She seems like a lovely person and I'm sure she's great IRL. But she's not popping off the screen, and it was a struggle to focus on literally all of her conversations with anyone.
  13. BIGGEST REGRET: No one told a costumed Nehemiah that they were hoping it would be Ariel.
  14. Spencer reminds me of a TV character who is supposed to be on the spectrum but the screenwriter doesn't know any autistic people.
  15. Charity seemed nice enough on Zac's season, but they didn't show much of her personality. Or maybe they did and she just doesn't HAVE much personality. So I'm not eager. What's worse is moving the starting time to 9-11pm on the east coast. Half the fun was the real-time mockery, but I can't stay up that late on a work night.
  16. Catching up on episode 5. I think these people are getting dumber week to week. I think the new woman with Carol Channing's voice might be the worst, though I'm-Not-Married-Joey is giving her some competition. And Cat Guy Connor needs to grow the hell up. Or just date Quartney.
  17. Quartney made little impression on me during Katie's season. I miss that. Now after BiPC he's made a bigger one: he's a petulant child.
  18. That's cool. But we live in a world where Hannah Brown's brother married Jed's ex. We need Carly to marry Evan's dad. I am numb to lesser scandals.
  19. Three episodes in, and I'm enjoying it well enough. You know what you're going to get with BiP. But are the conversations this season more inane than usual? Or am I just getting too old to deal with 23-year-olds trying to be deep? "I have an old soul." "Me too!" ... "What you said about having an old soul is intriguing..." No it's not! It's boring! Stop it. It just means you heard an orchestral piece you like once or read a book that wasn't a school assignment. Sheesh :) ETA: Putting Sharleen in direct sunlight is.... well, it's definitely a choice. Putting her in a white dress as well makes her look like a giant incandescent bulb.
  20. I kinda wish there were more Canadians in the cast. I don't know if they're getting much of a ratings boost from the people who went home night one on Michelle's season or whatever, but there aren't any Grocery Joes among the retreads. Being in a camp on a lakeshore is definitely a different vibe from sweltering on a beach in Mexico. They should have brought Tahj here instead. I had forgotten how Cat Guy Connor has no game.
  21. This is ABC saying "there's a writer's strike."
  22. Personally, I can take it or leave it. But whether it's this challenge or something else, I'm begging for an alternative to some sort of obstacle course that ends in a puzzle.
  23. I'm fine with them losing the drowning challenge, but I wish they would bring back the one where everyone is blindfolded and being directed through a field filled with obstacles set at roughly sex-organ-height. Every time, you could count on at least one dudebro lumber into it so fast, the ghosts of his ancestors moan. (To quote Dennis Miller, "If I ever hit anything that hard with my d**k, I'm going to spot-weld to it.") I think maybe I don't watch this show because of my massive maturity level.
  24. I love Carolyn too, but she strikes me as a more strategic Phil Shephard. Her social game is better, and she's more aware of her surroundings, but I do wish we lived in a universe where she and The Specialist could have played together. I bet they would have hated each other more than Phil hated Franchesqua.
