  1. It seems there is no ideal solution to the bagging of merchandise. The plastic bag thing is a huge problem, and I really do wish they would disappear from our landscape (literally & figuratively). Reusable bags are great on paper, but let's face it, a percentage of the population won't launder them adequately, thereby causing potential health problems (yes, to themselves, but still...), and those non-woven reusable bags that most retailers offer/sell to their customers are plastic-based, and still present a problem for the environment/landfills. Now we'll "circle back" to the paper bag thing; how many trees can we grow to sustain them? Have we tried paper from bamboo? I really prefer paper bags for lots of reasons, but not at the expense of the mass clearing of trees which take decades to mature. I do what I can to keep from using the plastic stuff, but I feel horrible every time I toss the bags in the trash. It's a shame that we haven't figured out a way to recycle them efficiently, because it appears that they aren't going away anytime soon.
  2. True. I guess one still has to have some ability to recall words, and you know, spell check.
  3. Yes. To me, this is one of the easiest if not the easiest grammar rule to remember. I wonder if it's still taught. Actually, I wonder if grammar, spelling, and sentence structure is still taught. 🤔
  4. Yeah, the man's name is one big ol' cancel waiting to happen isn't it?
  5. I like many others are unfazed by the JRod (or is it ALo?) split. I said from the beginning that there would never be enough air in the room for one or the other, let alone a unified couple. pffft
  6. Her voice grates on me, hard. The faux Chinese accent is insulting to me and I'm not Chinese.
  7. Totally agree. Pandemic aside, so many (non-broadcast) shows take upwards of 18-24 months or more in some cases, to bring back another season. It's ridiculous, and it would seem that viewership would drop as a result. I've never seen an explanation for it, reasonable or otherwise.
  8. ...and my Onyx. Wish she was still this big. She's much smaller than this now, having lost 5lbs. since 2016.
  9. Had anyone asked, I would have insisted that he's been dead for 20+ years.
  10. For realz! How could there possibly be a house large enough to house all of that?
  11. Yeah, Amazon is a bit of an enigma, albeit an obscenely profitable one.
  12. The thing that gets me about those prices is that I refuse to believe that anyone would actually give up that kind of money. If I were running the listing, I would want it priced to where someone would actually you know, buy it. I am not a gullible person in general, but I just can't believe that someone would spend $50 bucks for a $5 can of hairspray, let alone $150.00
  13. In general, when I see super inflated prices like ^that, it's a good indication that the item has been discontinued, or is/will be out of stock for an extended period of time. You can try ebay, as sometimes those folks either aren't bathed in the greedy water, or the word hasn't gotten out to them yet, lol.
  14. Same reasons why it's generally against the law to park your car heading against the direction of travel on a given street.
  15. I feel like the thing to remember is that Sawyna doesn't really have these ideas, nor does it appear that she expends any real energy or brain power in the execution of them. In the world of celebrity, no matter which alphabet letter you fall under, having a clothing line with your name on the label (see also; cosmetics, skin care, fragrances, etc) is a bit like falling out of bed these days. I'm of the opinion that people approach her, or perhaps her agent/representative approaches others for licensing opportunities, and if they work out, fine, if not, oh well. I'm under the impression that she isn't terribly interested in any real work.
  16. I was trying to explain charcuterie to my husband. When I said the word, he thought I was pimping him.
  17. The exact quote from the link - "The source said the singer "is offering half-a-million dollars to anyone who has her two dogs, no questions asked. Anyone who has the dogs can use this email, KojiandGustav@gmail.com to retrieve the reward."
  18. There are multiple locations of Outdoor Man, and Kristen has been tapped to lead the corporation as CEO. Will we see a change to Outdoor Enthusiast? It would seem an appropriate change. Ed is sort of like a Chairman Emeritus. A figurehead who I presume doesn't actively do much beyond collecting income.
