S08.E13: Crying Shame
SuprSuprElevated replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I can't credit properly because I don't recall who said it, or on which HW thread, but someone said something very wise. To paraphrase, "these women aren't friends, they're co-workers." Truer words... -

Bravo has a pattern of introducing new characters with easy-going, affable storylines. Most manage to stick to the script in that regard. Generally, after the first season, all bets are off. ymmv -

Probably depends on the pre-nup, and how much she is awarded in the event of a split. Saw her early this morning on a Harry Connick Jr. rerun. Didn't watch it. -

I was thinking the same thing. She may have signed to service him bi-monthly for the generous allowance, but I seriously doubt that it goes um, deeper than that. -

A Case Of The Mondays: Vent Your Work Spleen Here

I couldn't imagine in a million years, thinking it wise to include religious affiliation on a resume', unless I was applying to a sympathetic, faith-based organization. Still. -

Yes, yes, and yes. And may I add that Sydney is a teenager, not grown folk. She gets a pass from me for being mono focused on her own 'wants'. Teenage girls are usually the devil incarnate. Hopefully, time will heal those family wounds, but with Tamra's incredible immaturity, I would imagine it will take much time and much therapy. -

Neither LVP or Kyle will ever be held up as fashion icons. They haven't learned how to dress for their bodies. LVP likes what she likes, figure be damned, and Kyle just wants to wear trendy stuff, figure and age be damned. There are others, but these two stand out to me.- 5.7k replies

The Bravo Network should be getting a commission or finder's fee from divorce attorneys in the cities where their shows are featured. Furreal.

A Case Of The Mondays: Vent Your Work Spleen Here

Ooh, I don't like that at all. Probably not age discrimination, because frankly, your work history will probably pretty much reveal the ballpark of your age. Racial - possibly. I don't know what kind of job this was, or if physical attributes could be an expected focus, but I would be concerned about darker, more untoward, creepy things. -

Say Yes To The Dress - General Discussion
SuprSuprElevated replied to Rhondinella's topic in Say Yes To The Dress
Am I the only one who watches/watched for dresses? I would almost be happy with automatron robot models wearing dresses. Don't need backstories, don't need entourages, don't even need filmography of the wedding. Dresses.- 4.0k replies

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads
SuprSuprElevated replied to Lola16's topic in Commercials
There is a lock box on the door, similar to that which a realtor uses to show houses - dog walker uses a master key to open the lock box, which has the client's house key in it. So this concept requires that you have a lot of faith in the service, their employees, and their level of bond/liability insurance. I actually think it's a pretty good idea. I probably wouldn't find it necessary to be alerted as to the time and location of Fluffy's defecation though. I'm funny that way.
