  1. The wedding weekend, sans LVP Looks like Dorit has had some reconfiggerin'.
  2. As someone who considered myself an avid watcher previously, I also have been pretty apathetic about this season. I have actually only watched one show on the actual viewing night, the rest on-demand, and still haven't caught the last 2 episodes. I agree that it's pretty played out. I'm sure that I'm influenced by all of this behind-the-camera nonsense. I don't find Jenny to be nearly as compelling as I used to, and perhaps that's because of what we now know about her work situation at JLD. Sounds like she's been a high paid prop for a few seasons. Jeff's schtick is wearing thin. As to whether or not this is his primary source of income, I have my doubts. I guess one would have to know what Bravo pays him to really make a fair judgement on that. If he's in the $half million dollar/season or more neighborhood, then he would definitely miss the money, no doubt.

  4. <whispers> makes filming easier? lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  5. I hate my front load washer because: I stupidly opted out of the $250 pedestals to put under the w/d because I knew I wouldn't need them for storage. What I didn't think about was the fact that it puts the reach-in to grab clothes, so low that it's difficult and a little back-breaking. My particular model, an Electrolux, collects a lot of water in the detergent drawer, and has to be dumped between loads. I'm pretty sure this isn't normal, but didn't complain in a timely manner, so I'm stuck with it. The wiping of the door gasket/boot that seals the door opening, is a bit of a pain in the arse. This definitely has to be done after every load, and I also leave the door open for a couple of hours when finished, to prevent the mildew. There are several cleaners on the market, specifically for this issue. I have never had the mildew smell or evidence of it because I take these precautions. There are a couple of other quirks that I don't care for pertaining to the settings, but these could be specific to the model I bought so I won't go into them. We got ours right around the time that the top-loaders were getting a lot of overhauls. I would definitely look into a top-load model when these go south. FWIW, I wouldn't be concerned about the low water usage. That was one of the reasons that drew me to the front-load style, and enough research has been done to back up the theory that we don't need to waste so much water doing laundry.
  6. Agree^. We needed those peripheral characters to dilute the intensity of the main characters (K & B). I don't need Candace or even Violet, but yes to Baxter, Chef Rudy and his sous chef, and Roscoe. I could take or leave Adam, though I realize he and Bonnie are en fianced, lol.
  7. Though I appreciate KJ's comedic talents, she makes one too many scenery chewers in one show, or at one time in a given scene.
  8. That's actually a good point, especially now that everything is about destination this and destination that.
  9. I wish ^that was the nuttiest thing I've read today. It isn't, but it's plenty nutty.
  10. Yeah, it's a bit casual, but it is the AMAs. While not maybe as eccentric as the Grammy crowd, this show has a bit of a szichozophrenic vibe; some dress up and some dress down. This biggest fail about Mo's getup is that it doesn't really equal his wife's.
  11. RHOBH_HomeDesign_Dish Dear God, what has Maloof done to herself? The face, the bewbs... She should've stuck with Paul. Oh Kyle? Take a good look to your left honey. A good, long look.
  12. So now, due to the unfortunate death of his attorney, this case will get dragged out even longer than it likely would have anyway. Too bad for everyone involved. It will be interesting to see if Bravo incorporates any of TR's "situation" into the storyline of SC in the coming season/s. They will either take a defensive hands-off stance, or their baser, messy nature will dominate, and they'll lap it up like a thirsty dog.
  13. Yeah, the "I turned on the Mexican cartel I was working for, so I was allowed to choose where I served my sentence" thing was waaaay contrived. How would he even know that Ian was going to be incarcerated and where? Did I miss that?
  14. With ^those^ kind of $numbers$, I wish with all my heart that Judge Judy could hear this divorce case, and make the awards. That is a show I would love to see.
  15. Yes, because that fine, upstanding family would have clearly made the difference to the judge. Hell, he probably would have gotten released on his own recognizance, and not even served a day in jail.
  16. Well, Jeff's contract wasn't renewed by the date of expiration of current contract, by his own admission, so while that doesn't technically cancel Flipping Out, it effectively cancels Flipping Out imo.
