  1. I think Bryan Cranston is only five years older than Margo Martindale, but I think by 2003-2004 that her roles consisted of mothers and grandmothers. When she started in the 90s, her movie roles were usually a best friend, wise-cracking neighbor, nurse, or a doctor. So far today these are the roles I see Margo saddled with.
  2. I think they crammed too much of everything. I don't mind long epic films, but this film had editing problems galore. Personally, I think Shazam had a tighter storyline than this, but that is just me.
  3. What's funny is the one playing young Diana is the same one from the first film.
  4. Rosalind Russell's best role by far is Auntie Mame. Just her dictation and pronunciation make her role the most iconic of all the roles she did throughout the 30s-60s of her acting career.
  5. All that was missing for an 1984 wake up call was an MJ joke! But knowing the Jacksons will be very touchy feely on that and demand money, I can't say I am shocked that it never happened. But the Linda cameo was the best in such a mediocre movie. She still commands a presence still.
  6. God, it was too damn long! I am sorry, but every time I see Wiig I expected her to breakout into her annoying SNL traits. I am afraid the story was too much, especially for two hours and 30 minutes. And some of the politics in this one was too similar to what's happening now. Some of the ideas made me go where have I heard this before. At least the first one learned to be better. This was just a confusing mess.
  7. He must be on the same diet like Al Sharpton. I noticed when people who were originally chubby on shows and movies do a complete 180, it's always big head or a small body. I applaud him for it, but, man, he looks so tiny now.
  8. When Wigg started, I liked her in the beginning. It was only when it became the Kristen Wigg show that I showed boredom and complete disgust of OTT characters that I began to feel tire of her presence on SNL. No offense to her and I know she can be good in other roles, but she overstayed her welcome on the show. When she left in 2012, I breathed a sigh of relief then. I could only take her in small doses. Even when she hosts SNL after leaving, her OTT characters still grates me to this day.
  9. This article states why the Aisha character was out of the series.
  10. Beats me! Drew looked like he aged 10 years ago! He looks like David Letterman with the beard.
  11. I wondered what Andy Gibb would have looked like in 2020! It is amazing how one's health problems shortens their lifespan. Sometimes I wondered with a history of drinking and drugs as to why their life is cut short. Barry is the only one that made it.
  12. I am going a little old school here, but here goes: Mad TV (1995-2009) I actually prefer the era when you had Alex Borstein, Nicole Sullivan, Debra Wilson, and others from that 1995-2001 era. I think it was when freaking Bobby Lee came to join and I just hated the characters he played. He was just so annoying and I didn't care for his Connie Chung impersonation. It was just an excuse for him to be in drag or wear what little is left. I think by 2009, the show was tired already and the set change didn't make it better at all. In fact, it was much worse in the last season. Around this time period, I switched from either from SNL to Mad TV, but when Bobby Lee joined, I entirely watched SNL only then and I have no regrets doing that. All That(1994-2019) But it is only the ones with the original actors like Keenan, Kel, and others from the earlier seasons. When Amanda Byrnes came on the show, I lost interest. There are more, but I will give you more later.
  13. My mom told me that they were so much more than a disco band. She remembered back in the 60s when they started and she said they wrote songs for people like Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, etc. Mom always thought it was a shame they were regulated as simply a disco band when they were really more than that. At least, according to Mom. I was intrigued by their music and their melodies. Such a shame that Barry is the only one left. When drugs and drinking is involved, I think it is understandable why their lives were cut short. Watching Barry alone made me sad and I can't imagine life without the brothers. Just can't!
  14. This is what happens when you throw your career under the bus and never recover from the sham. It's her fault, anyway. They gave her a chance on Dancing With The Stars, plus a sitcom, Jenny Craig commercials, and look what happened recently. Just a sad loose cannon with a few loose screws.
  15. Another show that was like that was HBO's Rome. First season was good, but 2nd season was terrible. I did not care about any of the characters moving forward and the show lost direction after that.
  16. Timothee is a Mama's boy, so his mother being there is not big news. His mother is pretty prevalent in most of the award shows he attended. Not that I have a problem with that and I think that's pretty cool of him doing that. I knows others bring their significant other on award shows, but I always thought it's always cool for Timothee to bring his mother.
  17. I wondered if she would have cut off her family completely had she lived. It would have been interesting to know, but now....well....we will never know.
  18. Bryan Cranston is so phoning this in it's not even funny. He so much better than this. This is so run of the mill.
  19. 5 terms for that Labor Commissioner from NC? Well, we will know what her history will be once she retires.
  20. What is with these weird accents going all over the place, knowing the show takes place in the South! First Kidman's accent in The Undoing, now Bryan Cranston in Your Honor! I just don't get it.
  21. And AB, Selena's older brother, is hardly a saint himself. He is on wife #5 already as we speak.
  22. I still hate how she died! Taken from us by a woman with no business to run a fan club. I still wish they never met Yolanda Salvidar! I know it featured her briefly on the show in episode 9, but since they will have a season 2 with her marriage to Chris Perez and Yolanda entering her life, I have nothing but seething disgust when that woman came to the scene and tragically ended Selena's life.
