  1. George Segal actually began acting in the 1960s and my first recollection of him is that Mike Nichols film called Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf with Sandy Dennis, Elizabeth Taylor, and Richard Burton. What a shame that three actors from that film all passed away. Funny thing is that both Sandy Dennis and George Segal were all from a movie that would later be remade much later. Sandy Dennis from The Out of Towners, later remade in the 90s. George Segal in Fun with Dick and Jane, later remade in 2000s.
  2. The Elaine Chao thing was not a surprise, given to who she is connected to. I did read about it, but I knew that given the connections she has, it would be a moot case to do anything to her.
  3. I think Neera was a terrible choice for Office of Management and Budget. So for her stepping down was the right thing to do. It was doomed from the start. Nothing against her, but she was not my ideal candidate for that job.
  4. Honestly, either party should get the most scrutiny. I hate how one takes the most blame while the other party does not take full responsibility. I mean, there is that young senator from North Carolina who has a lot of flaws and allegations in his closet before his political career. I mean, Holy Moly.....hypocrisy much?
  5. I know. It's not like the long feud between William Shatner and George Takei that goes back decades. I was just shocked that the late John Avildsen allowed this division to happen and he didn't mind it all. It's interesting to know about what went on then and how that was justified as normal behavior. I was just glad Zabka and Macchio made up their friendship after Pat Morita's death.
  6. Chad McQueen(who played Dutch in Karate Kid) admitted to being rude to Ralph Macchio on set Holy moly...that's pretty cruel.
  7. So many, but I would have liked to see Catcher in The Rye on the big screen. I always thought probably once Jacob Tremblay gets to be 17 like the main character, he would be the perfect choice to play the pessimistic Holden Caulfield. I know Salinger didn't want his work on the screen due to various reasons, but it would been neat to see it happen now that he passed away a few years ago. It'll be interesting to hear 50s music in a 50s setting.
  8. It's sad when the treatment of race plays such a big way in Italy. That poor Italian black mother and son....it just further shows how much racism is prevalent in that country. And that Jewish Italian old woman's story about Mussolini sending the Jews from Rome to the gas chamber. So much bigotry.....I am glad Tucci showed a light on these issues.
  9. I was six when Cop Rock aired. Jeez.....I think I remember that show. Scary as to how dated it was.
  10. That was interesting about the protest. We need more of that in the US.
  11. Interesting to know that masks were optional during the early days of Italy's lockdown. It's no wonder it was hit hard in the following months.
  12. I am surprised they went with Cecily Strong for MTG. I would actually thought the dark brown haired female senators would be more to her liking like Susan Collins, which Cecily did an amazing interpretation of her. Or Haley, Kristi Noem, and that Colorado one as well. I was pretty shocked they gave her MTG. Cecily is talented, but I am surprised they never gave her those parts. I know MTG is probably more in the news than the others, but I would loved to see Cecily in those parts with the other figures as well. Just my two cents.
  13. Abigail Breslin's dad dies of Covid 19 So sad and to heck to those trolls that says it's a hoax. It's real. What a sad story. Be strong, Abigail!
  14. WTH, Bill? We still have to wear our masks and now accuses Fauci of being a downer because of the new variants?!? Listen, I don't like wearing masks as much as the next person, but I will still wear one for respect of others when I do venture outside. I am upset at Bill's attitude on mask wearing. I don't like it, but I have to listen to the science until everything is back to normal. I know there is positive news about the vaccines, but we can't let our guard down now. We must listen to the science.
  15. It seems Ali Velshi covered for Rachel last night.
  16. His career is over, anyway. Does anybody think he had a shot? Look at what happened to Haley. That man speaking at Cpac only cares for one person: himself. There. I said it.
  17. Again with the Neera Tanden argument, Rachel! Focus on the riots, please!
  18. Ron Johnson looks exactly like the character actor Ronny Cox known for bosses, villains, political figures, etc. I swear, he looks related.
  19. All I remember about Neera is from her numerous guest spots on Bill Maher's show. Nothing against Neera Tanden, but she never made an impact on me so color me surprised when Biden nominated her.
  20. Is Neera Tanden one of Bill Maher's favorite guest on his show? I predict once this is over, he'll definitely invite her on the show. That's how I recognized her.
