Kudos to everyone who thought Kelly would be possessed. Any bets on how long it is until Ash is reunited with his hand?

We are in a really interesting place story-wise with these two, that's for sure. From a writer's perspective, which way do you go? I mean Fitz and Simmons have kissed and they both 'went for it,' so to speak. Fitz kissed Simmons, then Simmons kissed Fitz and tried to kiss him again. Obviously she was in to it. Do they talk about the kiss? Do they go back to pretending nothing happened? What does Simmons say at this point? "Sorry, but we can't keep making out because of Will on the Blue Filter Planet?" That would be valid, but kinda weird considering what happened in 3x08. Is Simmons waiting until she sees Will again before making a decision? Is she procrastinating on making decision in order not to hurt anyone. Is that fair? Maybe she'll do a Kelly ad say, "I choose me!" I honestly can't predict at this point which way the writers are going to go. It's odd - they do such a half-assed job on 3x05, the supposedly 'Emmy-worthy' episode and yet do such a great job writing for Fitzsimmons. Of course, I am throwing a caveat in there if all of the problems with 3x05 are explained in the upcoming episodes. What does everyone think? Which way are they going to go with Fitzsimmons?

And the secret ingredient is ... terrigen! I just finished a re-watch of this episode and in the first five minutes my biggest question is how did Hydra make a serving tray out of vibranium and/or adamantium? I mean that tray deflected several bullets for Ward, when in reality, those bullets should have plowed right through, killing him.

The speed part isn't lame, the having to return back to where she started is lame. I get that it adds a power limitation, but it's just silly. They could add another power limitation, without it being so arbitrary and ridiculous. If they call her Yo-Yo, I will never stop laughing at the character. Then again, at least they are getting going with the Secret Warriors, so there is that.

Interesting. Haven't heard of the character before, but seems kind of a lame power.

I thought it was well done and the special effects were great. It has me hooked until at least the next few episodes.

I'm calling it - Ward turns Inhuman and kills May. Possibly Fitz or Simmons as well.

My question is why wouldn't they send a probe through like SHIELD was going to? Even a few seconds worth of data would be invaluable for their mission. For example, they would have known not to send SOLAR POWERED anything. Maybe a hand cranked generator, just in case?

I would think Ward is going after May as a way to get to Coulson. But you are right, it will all be a fakeout in order to capture Fitzsimmons.

I kept thinking he was going to shout out "Allez Cuisine!" before he started attacking.

In the promo for Closure, Colson seems super pissed. Ward is also seen using a sniper rifle. It would be an easy way to take out May. Also, we don't see May at all in the promo ...

Okay, my speculation: May dies is the mid-season finale. Her story is pretty much done at this point. I think she will die either at Ward's hand or at Andrew's. It may happen after Ward goes through terrigenesis (another spec) to become some sort of fire-based Inhuman (Hellfire?). Thoughts?

I thought the whole point of Gideon asking Andrew to tell him what SHIELD was up to was what lead to the portal information? Andrew knew about it and seemed willing to talk. Yup. That's the first thing I thought of, a D & B. It would have been awesome if someone had mentioned it or said "Simmons, is great that you and Fitz hooked up, but we don't need photographic evidence - Fitz's permagrin is proof enough!"

Definitely. She's got it bad and that's a real problem, considering the Space Boyfriend. It's not like they're exclusive (or are they? What's the protocol for a Space Boyfriend?), but I don't think Fitz or Will would be happy if the other is still in the picture. I think Simmons won't have to make a choice (Will is evil, dies, etc.), but I would like to see her make one, regardless.

Yeah, that must be pretty tough for her. While she was away from Fitz, she got with Will. Now while she is away from Will, she gets with Fitz (yay!). One of those guys needs to lock that Simmons down! Simmons is in a pretty horrible situation and Fitz being such a good guy is only going to make her feel worse. Unfortunately, she has some blame coming her way as well. Don't want to make it feel even worse? Don't ask Fitz to help. Have to ask Fitz for help? Then don't go off on him while he is helping. Can't help but go off on the guy? Well, then don't make out with Fitz! Sheesh, she's violating all the made up rules! Seriously, that girl is going to have to make a decision and fast or else Fitz/Will is going to make that decision for her. I can just hear that conversation. Fitz: ... and then you pull on the rope. Gideon: I see ... Are you serious? You're not f*cking with me, are you? Fitz: Nope. Just pull on the rope and the person pops right back through. Gideon: Thousands of years. Pull the rope. Dammit!

After a re-watch, an interesting observation. There are six rectangles cut out of the monolith. That means five more rectangles like the one in the bunker. The minilith (or Kid Rock or Chip if you prefer) is small enough to fit in the receptacle we saw, but do they join together if brought into proximity? If so, are six Kid Rocks enough to fit a person through? Tend to agree. I have a very bad feeling that one or both of them are going to die, without any real resolution to their story lines.

Gideon says, "Every generation [Hydra has sent] someone through the portal, hoping to save, or at least serve, [the entity]." So does this mean Will wasn't sent as a sacrifice, but to save (or at least serve) the inhuman on the other side? Was will complicit?

I know. Talk about your mixed messages! I love him. Let's make out! And it's not as if she wasn't into the kiss - she went back for seconds and even thirds. I think she was angry at herself for putting Fitz into the position, but also angry at Fitz because he was making it so hard for her (ahem). If he had of been an ass about getting Will back, it would be easier for her to make a decision. Also, she loves Fitz - she wants him to show some emotion to prove he still loves her.

Uhm, if she's non compos mentis, she can't legally get married and if she did, Walter could have it annulled. Sigh.

This show is incredibly stupid. Everyone just decided to give up guns and they all agreed? No bows and arrows? What happened to the 300 million guns already there? Why don't any of the downtrodden serfs just MAKE a gun and become king? You certainly have to turn your brain off for this one.

I would certainly hire him to build my shed. He would be done it about five minutes!
