Didn't Richard Branson try flying around the world in a balloon years ago? I agree with all your assessments about him. Something about him rubs me the wrong way. I loved Stephen's bit about the hot dogs and buns earlier this week, and how he tied it in with my favorite scene from Father of the Bride. (Kevin James in "Superfluous Buns" almost made me fall off my chair!! 🤣😂)

Speaking of Day Drinking, I think my favorite one was with Seth's mom. 😊

I could not like and agree with this post more. I like Jerry fine as an actor. As "himself", he always comes across as "look at me!" If this show is still on the air by Christmas, knock me over with a feather.

After 5+ years, I finally took this show off my DVR. I did not watch for a full-time male host. This always a show presented by women for women. This will never again be the show it was with the likes of Sara, Aisha and even Julie. I tried to give Elaine and Amanda a chance. I tried to keep watching after the Sharon fallout (and yes, she needed to leave). Eve may not have been the most compelling panelist, but a big part of the heart of the show left when she did. It's never been the same. I honestly do not see the show reaching the same heights as it did in its heyday. I know it got renewed for another season, but I don't see it lasting past Christmas. The magic is gone.

I am so sorry that you had to go through such horror. Another thing that the public at large needs to consider is the difference between coercion and consent. Sometimes people will give in against their better judgment rather than risk more anger and violence from the perpetrator. Yeah, it's par for the course in most every business. I just heard on the news over my car radio that a local fire chief was just put on paid administrative leave per an investigation (not sexual in this case). I think it's a hedge in case someone is proved innocent.

It's worth noting that Carroll Baker's daughter, Blanche, is also an actress and started out at a very young age. Did she ever worry about her??? Blanche Baker won an Emmy for her work in the 1978 miniseries Holocaust. All the original L&O fans will remember her as Lucy Neven, the soap opera star attacked by an obsessed fan. It seems that less of the surviving actresses from Carroll Baker's day are willing to talk about the subject. Angela Lansbury (who played Baker's mother in Harlow) and Tippi Hedren - I got the same vibe. An actress of that generation who DID speak out about her own experience when the #MeToo movement just blew up was Janis Paige, and her story really amplified even more of how there were so little resources for help then. Thank goodness things have changed in that regard.
