Embarrassing one's spouse and children on "reality" TV certainly didn't turn out well for KHate Gosselin. Last I heard, she was back to working as a nurse. No more giant mansion for her. Back on topic, I bet that if Carlin isn't pregnant soon, she will come up with either more "episodes" or some other make-believe illness just to get the focus back on herself. She's probably reading the medical mystery columns in the Washington Post and New York Times to get ideas (except those illnesses are real).

They must have had the cruise planned for awhile. Otherwise, I'd have expected an "episode" after they returned from New Jersey, where Katie (rightfully) got all the attention. Now it'll be after the cruise.

There's a photo of a different angle (facing Josie's back) that is even worse than that photo. He looked like he had his fingers shoved up her ass. His penis is his problem. Is there a filter called "Color Drain" that fundies use for their photos? That photo depresses me.

Maybe he likes other people seeing his "property," like the infamous ass grab at their wedding.

Unlike Trace, Lawson, and Nathan, most of us have actual jobs and can't take time off to go make social media content in another country. I don't pretend that they're actually doing anything besides making content.

Performative, indeed. I wonder how many takes it took to get that photo, with strong Lawson carrying bags of something! With his artful coif and his aviators! I also wonder how far he is actually is from the quake areas. Judging from the undamaged buildings in the background, I would bet he's quite distant.

I have been re-watching Law and Order: SVU (thanks, Peacock), and the Duggarlike episode is even creepier and more cult-like on rewatch. The episode is obviously part-Duggar/part-FLDS, but yikes. The writers even got the old-school Duggar waving for the camera. I'm surprised they gave the Michelle character a normal haircut instead of an overgrown mullet. Some of the teen girls had banana curls, though. By the way, the episode first aired on November 4, 2015, and Rollins mentions "what happened to the Duggars" -- clearly a reference to the molestation scandal and the Ashley Madison thing.

Or knowing they'd have to make major cutbacks if they didn't cheat er, cut corners. Cutbacks as in fewer vacations, fewer trips to Starbucks, Target, and the nail salon, maybe even *gasp!* coloring Carlin's hair at home. I think their mental health might take a big hit if they couldn't do all the things they think they're entitled to, like the aforementioned. I also think that them having significant credit card debt is quite likely. Maybe they'll be the first fundie "reality" bankruptcy.

I think it was the experience of losing a baby about halfway through her second pregnancy. Otherwise, I suspect she'd still be seeing "midwives" and trying to deliver at home.

The same woman who went through how many hours? of at-home labor and attempted at-home delivery, without actual medical supervision, before going to the hospital, where she had an immediate emergency Caesarean. Thinking isn't her strong suit. Neither is the most basic level of common sense.

I see they're all doing the crossed-at-the-ankles thing that is supposed to make your hips and legs look slimmer. I do the same thing. But not a single one of those dresses is flattering. Is that the dress Carlin wore in the Layla-ballerina photos? It looks familiar.

I don't know if I'm sad for Kaylee (the forgotten, local daughter) or happy for her that her mother's stage-5 clinginess lands on Nurie, the favorite, faraway daughter. I saw those photos before I read Jill's captions, and I honestly thought somebody had died.
