  1. Hey @AwesomO4000, you must have also accidentally upvoted Bad Day at Black Rock, and down voted Jus in Bello and No Rest for the Wicked,in addition to your actual votes. Did you copy the wrong post maybe?
  2. Hmm, so the mid season finale will either air a week later on December 14th, or they've decided "feck it, we will air on Thanksgiving" LOL
  3. I don't watch Arrow or the Flash to compare, but I think you're right to say it'll be closer to a regular episode than a backdoor Pilot. Per Singer, they wanted to give the new cast plenty of time to shine, but they also wanted to avoid an episode that was overly J2 lite. So they opted for spreading the plot over two episodes so both the boys and the new girls could have a part to play in the episodes. I assume theyll go for Abandon All Hope or Stuck in the Middle (With You) style episodes, where it is very much an ensemble piece with everyone having a key role.
  4. I'd actually edited my original post, but I'll just reply with it to ensure nothing is missed :) <3. I forgot to say that you are correct about the fact most shows end at the mid point i.e. Episode ten or eleven. However, due to the CWs policy of starting their shows mid to late October, as opposed to mid September like the big four, they only have enough time to air eight or nine episodes before hiatus. SN had been airing nine episodes since season eight, but as I mentioned, airing on Thursday means we lose a week to Thanksgiving. That is why I am operating under the assumption the mid series finale will be episode eight and the first two post hiatus episodes will be the Spin off ones.
  5. Since at least season 8 episode 9 was the mid season finale episode. However, due to the move to Thursday it was a week early last year! I think, if I remember correctly, that might have been due to the show taking a week off for Thanksgiving :) . Since the show is on Thursday again this year I'm assuming it will be the same again.
  6. I think, based on last year, the mid season finale should be episode eight. The spin off will be the first two episodes after hiatus. Especially episode 10.
  7. What a wonderful episode with so many great moments! The iron born vs iron born war! I'd been really hoping that Theon could get his moment to shine, but alas he is still too damaged from the psychological damage caused by Ramsey. - Sansa as temporary warden of the North! Hell, yes! - Jon Snow choking Little Finger next to the statue of Ned Stark. Poetic. - Ollena advising Dany to be a dragon - perfect! You unleash your inner dragon Daenarys. - Arya and Nymeria reuniting! Random, but damn Maisie William really sells that scene. - Hot Pie - YESSSSSS. But I'd been hoping to see Gendry too! - Arya heading back home to Jon. I always adored the bond between those two in season one ❤️❤️❤️ Why isnt it next Sunday night already?
  8. Personally, I'm glad Jensen turned them down! That way it stayed about Kansas and how awesome it was they played for the crowd. If Jensen had joined in it would have become all about him IMO.
  9. Then, in that case, maybe Cas is living as the king of the fairies! I know, I know, this isn't possible, but wild spec is fun :D
  10. Completely wild spec... I haven't watched Clap Your Hands in years! Did we ever get a glimpse of the fairy realm?
  11. Not to enter bitch vs jerk territory, and I could be wrong, but I actually think it was Jared who said "there is no show without Misha".
  12. Watching the Bob Singer interview and according to him episode 10 will be the back door Pilot. Well he says it's "very heavily skewed towards them" and episode 9 will also do a lot of setting up. ETA: Accordong to Bob the reason for this is that they are aware fans are watching for Sam and Dean, and they don't want to annoy them by completely writing them out. However, they also want an opportunity to test can the new cast actually carry a show. So they hope doing it over two episodes will keep everyone happy.
  13. I'm aware and that's why I said I don't think itd be one scene / one episode and that I think he'll ultimately reunite with them because they wouldn't just leave John to rot. AND Have some more interviews
  14. Well, can it's just John and Cas in there I can't really see them rescuing Cas, but leaving John to rot. I'd say even if his initial interactions are only with Misha / Cas he'd eventually reunite with the brothers. Im kind of excited by the idea of John meeting Cas. I think it'd be quite interesting to see how they interact and Johns reaction to hearing of his bond with the brothers. Especially since he was always portrayed as being very black and white anti-monster.
  15. Cas and Jack. “It takes along time for them to actually come together in the show,” Misha explained of Jack and Castiel’s first meeting. “I don’t think we have scenes together until episode 6. But, in a way, I think Jack sort of thinks of him as a surrogate father or something like that. There’s some sort of strange imprinting that may have happened even though Cas was dead.” Is Jack on their side though? “I think that’s a big question for everybody.” This gives me hope that Cas' primary storyline from last season was not completely stolen by Sam and Dean! I am also going to assume by the reference to episode six that we'll have Cas back (in some form) by the end of episode 3. Since there are usually a few Cas free eps after the opening arc.
  16. I'm in the middle of watching Misha's panel. He talks about us finding Cas in a realm they've talked about, but never shown before. My mind jumps to the empty. Can anyone think of any other realms the show has talked about but not shown? He also mentions being trapped with one other being played by a great actor? My speculation is that he is going to be with Death. What do you guys think?
  17. I haven't watched them yet! (I'm just about to) but have some press interviews!
  18. On a brighter note, this was really a great weekend for those, like me, who enjoy Mishalecki and their antics :D
  19. I think I summed it up pretty accurately, but if you want the full comment I transcribed it here I agree with @ahrtee that it is intended to be a mirror of Sam not looking for Dean in s8. However, IMO this is even worse. At least Dean and Cas disappeared in a manner that looked like an explosion. Mary went through a portal they'd just come out of! There is literally no way for Dean to misinterpret what happened to her. I know I'm not the most Dean friendly of fans, but even I consider this plot point ridiculous and completely OOC.
  20. I was pretty infuriated when I first heard about it! But to be honest, as Misha fan, I am pretty used to him being constantly disrespected by the show and those associated with it. So I wasn't as mad as I probably would have been if I wasn't already used to it. I'll leave it at that, or change threads, because I don't want to go off topic. ETA: Generally, I wouldn't be his biggest fan, but to his credit, at least Bob Singer was the only one to show some decency and swapped seats for a bit :) ((I'm happy to discuss further, but we should probably move to the PTB thread :) <3 ))
  21. In regards to Mary and their approach to her disappearance Robert Singer: "Uhm, Dean thinks she's uhm gone. She went through the rift. It's a rift Rich, not a hole." Richard: "I was just making sure you read the notes" RS: "Ok, uhm. She went through the rift, the hole, uhm, with Lucifer and the hole, rift, closed and Dean is pretty sure that's curtains for mum, and while he's bereft over that, ah, he's ready to accept that. Sam thinks, "no she went through alive. We've been on the other side of this rift". Uhm, he's holding on to the fact she might be alive. It's a bit of a, it's a problem between the guys because Sam's mission in the beginning part of season 13 is "lets find mom", and Dean's idea is "we have bigger fish to fry and you are just going to have to come to that realisation." Spoiler alert: mom is not dead" Then Jared goes on to joke about how Dean is a Debbie downer at the beginning of the season. He wants to shoot Jack and says Cas is dead, Mary is dead, everyone is dead! That is the actual wording, or at least transcribed as close as I could get, for anyone who can't watch right now.
  22. Do we know why Mark Pellegrino wasn't there? Is it to do with the filming in LA he tweeted about a few days ago?
  23. Thanks for confirming my thoughts! His reaction is probably also designed to highlight the unique nature of the epic bond between Sam and Dean. Only Sam is worth Dean actually getting worked up over the fate of. I doubt it! Misha has described Cas as deader than usual, which sounds as though it wont be a quick resurrection. Although, unless they plan to use alt for a while, it'll be hard for them to beat the large gap between his death at the start of 7x02 and his return in 7x17.
