  1. I think that's larger issue the therapist should be working on with her. Zoey is treating many aspect of her life like she's still a student trying to get straight As. My guess is that the therapist wants a bit more information before taking more agressive measures. Right now, she isn't harming herself or others, and she doesn't seem to be a danger to herself or to others. That kind of seems to be the point. SPRQPoint is a mix of things that sound cool and helpful, like the Chirp, and the totally silly, like the mysterious SmartPants. I have no problem with co-workers dating, but I am not okay with a boss dating someone who reports to them. Zoey being Simon's boss makes no sense. I like your idea. An even easier way to handwave it is have DMD announce a "restructuring," which makes it clear that Simon reports to corporate, but keeps his his office on the 4th floor, because they do not want all of the executives (if that's the right word) on the same floor and want them to see how the other departments actually work and what they do on a day-to-day basis. This made me feel better. I was clearly not the only one who was confused.
  2. I think I missed something. I thought the rookie transferred to a different precinct. He is still part of the NYPD, just working in a different location.
  3. Very true. I can't remember which episode it was, but in one of the voice-overs Sheldon mentions he was a late bloomer, so Sheldon still looking childish while the girls his age start to develop seems in keeping with what was already established.
  4. Jill's money is a combination of what she inherited from her parents and her divorce. (I'm not sure if you were actually looking for answer, so here it is in case you wanted to know).
  5. I know what you mean. Tam had a random cameo and we found out a little bit about what happened to him. I was always hoping for a similar random cameo by Paige. We see her, find out what she's currently doing, and that's the end of it. I'm hoping we find out what happens to her in the final voice over narration at the end of the series, whenever that is.
  6. Having another grown woman aside from Mee-Maw for Mary to talk to on a regular basis has been a fantastic addition to the show. For some reason, I really like the idea of Brenda driving the Geezer Bus. I have no idea why I think it works well, but it appeals to me. Agreed. Missy may not understand her brother or get along with him, but she does love him and will try to help him when she came. Relationships are her speciality, so jumped at the opportunity to help her brother with one of his. Plus, it's her brother sort of acting like a normal person their age. It's totally a pre-teen crush. Paige and Sheldon may have feelings for each other, but don't quite understand them or how to express them.
  7. I think so. Unlike the other women, Tammy never really cared about being in a romantic relationship or starting a family of her own. Being stable financially, having friends, and being sober are what matter most to her.
  8. I had the same thought. It seemed as though he was having trouble speaking. Forget his hair color. I wonder if Harrison Ford will be physically able to play Indy for the next movie. It's a physically demanding role and I'm not sure if Ford is up for it. I also have issues accepting the fact that Harrison Ford is now old. I know it beats the alternative. The dominant visual image I have of him is from the late 1970s-early 1980s, and what he looks like now is always a bit of a shock.
  9. This article explains so much. I still don't agree with many of thier decisions, but at least this gives some insight into what they were thinking. https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/oscars-order-da-butt-glenn-close-in-memoriam-1234960635/
  10. Billy joining the Middle School Football team would be a great subplot. Georgie could help him practice a little. He may not have wanted the time commitment of regular practice after school, but he might be willing to help Billy practice for an hour on the weekend.
  11. I saw the new trailer at the Oscars. I would be okay with a more muted color scheme. I am not okay with the fact that they have completely thrown out the iconic color scheme. One of my friends and I came up with another way to include the multi-talented National Treasure that is Rita Moreno in this movie, without destroying the character of Doc. Create a new character that's a social worker and give that part to her.
  12. My understanding is that the Oscars established satelite studios around the world, so all of the nominees outside of Hollywood would have professional make-up, lighting, and camera work. Agreed. I never thought he was cute/good looking until Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I missed clips or images of the people's work, especially for visual categories like hair/make-up, costumes, and production design. I understand they couldn't have a full orchestra, but why couldn't they give Questlove the music from the nominated movies to play based on who won? Is there a reason Questlove wasn't allowed to play people off, because it felt like some of the speeches went on way too long. I was dissapointed One Night In Miami didn't win anything. I was pleased that Ma Rainey's Black Bottom won some of the awards it was nominated for. This was not a great year for the Oscards, but hopefully things will improve next year when they are back in the regular location and return to normal.
  13. I'm not sure what the exact layout of the house, but maybe Sheldon can't hear it unless Georgie has it incredibly loud.
  14. Sheldon was able to convince the university to install and probably pay for another phone line so he could use the internet. My guess is that Mary let him keep that, but insisted that going forward, he did not ask for special favors/perks from the university.
  15. It was. I'm a big fan of Beauty and the Beast, so I would love to know which scene was playing when he kissed her. I'm guessing the dance in the ballroom. I loved Georgie's willingness to go behind thier mother's back and help Missy do something Mary would not approve of. I also loved that in the same breath he was in protective older brother mode. I wondered what Georgie would be like when Missy started dating, and now I have my answer. I'm surprised Sheldon didn't have multiple back-ups, or paper copies of important documents. Overall, it was a great episode, but I think Georgie and Missy were my favorite part. It may not be much, but I'm glad that Missy gives a head nod to Billy in the hallway. I was worried would Missy end up having friends who were pint sized Heathers/Mean Girls types who would tease and be mean to Billy. It's great that she gives him some positive attention when she sees him, even if it's only a head nod. I don't know if Georgie would do it on is own, but if Mary or George asked him to spend some time with Billy, he probably would.
  16. I think it would be just for one episode, like the one episode were Zoey was singing her thoughts and feelings outloud, or the episode this season where people's songs were getting switched.
  17. I love the idea of a season 3 episode where a glitch occurs and another character has her power for an episode. I think Max would have the most emotional impact since he seems to be having the most difficult understanding her powers and how they work. Maybe after he lives with them he will have a better sense of how they work and what she lives with everyday. If she hasn't told Simon yet, a glitch would be a rather dramatic way for him to discover her powers and how they work.
  18. I don't think Zoey is observant enough to pick up on it, and if she did, I'm not sure if she would care. The series has established that once she hears a heart song, if she avoids trying to solve the problem, she hears the song everywhere. It's kind of like Quantum Leap. If Sam doesn't complete his mission, he stays where he is and never leaps out into the next case.
  19. I think it's self interest. Avi has seen what Ted can do, he knows his skill set, some of idea of who has connections to/with, and thinks Ted could be a great addition to Avi's business.
  20. I felt this was a stronger episode than last week's, but I was dissapointed the flashbacks didn't carry over. I was really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the team came on board and possibly seeing them work together for the first time on their first case/client.
  21. I always figured he was named for a different Jack. It's a pretty common name. The show has been renewed for another season. Sean will be going to college next season. We have no idea if he will be going to college locally or too far away to be part of Sunday dinners. In terms of predictions for next season, I like the idea of Erin and Jack getting back together, even though I know in real life divorced couples almost never get back together. I see Eddie announcing she's pregnant towards the end of the season, or make the entire season about her pregnancy and the child is born in the series' final episodes.
  22. Jack is one of the those characters that appears every few seasons. I think Jack and Erin have great chemistry together. Normally, it's better than it was in this episode. I can understand why Eddie would want to ask Erin about her divorce. I don't know exactly when Eddie's parents divorced, but I always figured it was after the company her father was working for was discovered to be a scam and he went to prison. She knows that's not normal and wanted to hear a story from a more "normal/regular" couple. I agree with you about Baker. In Baker's first big episode "Manhatten Queens," she gets to have a moment of awesome with her research/detective skills. In this one, she felt more like a victim who needed strong men around her to help her and protect her. I didn't think the gangster's son was an orphan. I thought his mother was still alive. Maybe his mother married the Assemblyman, but that's just a guess. Jack and Erin are wonderful together. I'm glad they bring him back every now and then. I get sort of a low key, "can't live with each other, can't live without each other" sort of vibe from the two of them.
  23. I love this site. After imdb got rid of its message boards, this became a wonderful replacement so I could discuss the shows I enjoy with the other fans. It used to be that when I clicked on Forums, only the Forums I followed were on top. This was fantastic and made it easy to nagivate to the forum I wanted to read. Now, when I click on Forums, I get the entire list. What do I need to change to go back to the way it used to be? All of the forums I followed are still marked as followed. Thank you to anyone who can help.
  24. I thought Baxter's dealership was for Kia, and I've never heard of a Kia truck before, so it didn't surprise me that Baxter wasn't there. Overall, I liked the episode. I liked the conversation between Tammy and Bonnie where they each valued what the other had.
  25. To be fair, I think the hatred was well deserved. James Franco was awful, and while Anne Hathaway tried, she could not make up for James Franco. I agree. I thought that Anne Hathaway and Billy Crystal would have made fantastic co-hosts. I am still annoyed that Black KKKlansman lost to Green Book for Best Picture. As movie, Green Book was okay, but nothing special. When I was watching Black KKKlansman, every 15-20 minutes I found myself thinking "wow, that's really interesting. I hadn't thought about that before." I think Black KKKlansman is more interesting, engaging story.
