  1. I think there is a chance for that, too. As long as Becky doesn’t repeat past mistakes. And I think Mark is already back in the right direction. I think he could even get into a college by doing something easier than taking two years to learn an instrument. I forgot about Jackie’s exit from the police force in the original and how it went down.
  2. Darlene, STOP TRYING TO RUIN BEN’S RELATIONSHIPS!! This show has pretty much made her into some sort of cartoon. Not only is it very telling that Aldo’s spacey father was more concerned about Aldo being bad for Harris, but the fact that Aldo’s ex was on her way to a good life before getting involved with him (?) should have been something Harris was there to hear. But the way the adults presented it to her only made her more determined to move in with Aldo. Out of curiosity, when is Louise coming back? She’s the outsider/voice of reason to the Conner family.
  3. Not a good sign that the message Mark’s family has given (“we’re failures and we take pride in it!”) has inspired him to put his own health at risk to ensure he doesn’t follow in their footsteps. ☹️ He should ask his uncle DJ for some pointers, as he is at least more successful than Darlene or Becky. I was confused as to what Dan was doing when I saw the last scene (did I miss an earlier scene where he suspected something was up?) and then was surprised to see Harris in the camper.
  4. Darlene makes me cringe. I liked her character on the original, but it seems this show’s ruining any progress she made. She didn’t fully appreciate Ben when they were together & wants to sabotage any relationship he has. Good for Nick in deciding to not date her until she gets her head cleared. Beverly Rose has taken that TV magic to where she looks 4 or 5 years old suddenly. Happened with lots of characters in the 90’s and even 2000’s shows.
  5. I was hoping it wouldn’t be the case and thankfully it wasn’t, but signs weren’t looking good at first.
  6. At this point, I don’t care so much about Sam’s story. No troubles, little adversity and wealth have made her unlikeable. I liked her in Season 1, but her actions in late Season 2 and onwards I haven’t liked. Kenny outsmarted Anthony by making sure the principal saw the TikTok locker video before anyone had a chance to delete it. It’s like Silver has been teaching in Cobra Kai: don’t just fight with no mercy, be smart about it. I still fear that Kenny will become an aggressive kid and will come off as a bully. He doesn’t have Johnny to pull him back like Miguel and Hawk did, and Kreese and Silver will encourage it. Looks like Kreese is starting to fear he’s losing control of the class, and thought that Silver should also be in his control rather than an equal. He wouldn’t have brought up Vietnam and Silver’s triggers otherwise. Better be careful. We saw what Terry is capable of in KK3 when he feels pushed.
  7. There’s so much Robby doesn’t know about Kreese and Silver; things that not even Johnny knew about until now. He will definitely get outsmarted by Silver if he tries “using” him. Robby seems one of the most mature of any students from the dojos. Consider that he is already teaching classes and taking on a student (Kenny). I predict the Cobra Kai curse will get Kenny too, no matter how good Robby’s intentions are. Kreese and Silver will turn him aggressive. Miguel and Hawk went from nice, bullied kids to aggressive and violent in the first three seasons before Johnny realized the teachings hurt them and started righting the ship.
  8. As stupid as the fight and training leading up to it was for Daniel and Johnny, I say Johnny won since it looked like he hit first and Daniel hit the ground a split second before Johnny. But NOBODY wins this one if you ask me, because all of the students suffer as a result. Not only is it taking time away from their All-Valley training, but these kids look at Daniel and Johnny as role models and they both can’t put aside their egos and put the students first. That’s why I say Miguel and someone from Miyagi-do (not Sam because her judgement isn’t good either) need to take over as senseis whenever Daniel and Johnny get irrational. That’s another thing Cobra Kai is doing better than either of them right now; they let Robby teach classes here and there. And while all the foolishness with Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do was going on, Cobra Kai is mostly focusing on getting stronger, aside from them ambushing Hawk and cutting off the Mohawk. Silver looks to be bringing an intelligent method to Cobra Kai. Beyond Kreese’s simple “no mercy at all times” mantra. He seems to be trying to get the students to think of all possibilities that can factor into them winning. He seemed like he meant it when he apologized to Daniel, but then Kreese pushed him into competitiveness and he got mad that Daniel blew him off.
  9. Wow, I guess this is what it looks like when a grown man allows himself to be consumed by Cobra Kai in real life. I got that vibe greatly when he threatened “to break people’s arms.” 😳
  10. Amanda really needs to double down on Sam. She was pretty much being a verbal bully to Tory while she was trying to do her job. I know Tory did all that stuff to her in the past, but two wrongs do not make a right. It’d be one thing if Tory had confronted Sam first, but Sam walked over and started with her crap the second she saw her. And another thing, Tory never stole Miguel from her. Sam dropped him and wouldn’t even give him the time of day until she saw him with Tory. More like she stole Miguel from Tory and then falsely accused Tory of stealing him when in fact she wasn’t dating him at that time. Real tough guys Nate and Bert are. It looked like they were gonna gang up on Kenny until Robby showed up and they retreated behind Hawk. Daniel should know from experience that poking Cobra Kai would be bad (Johnny giving him a bad beating after the water hose, Kreese putting a cobra in Daniel’s dealership). The last thing he should do is applaud the students for that. Looks like Silver is going to offer a different perspective on Cobra Kai, beyond what Kreese teaches.
  11. I get that Johnny wants to keep whatever students he trains on their toes, but that building jump exercise was too extreme. Someone could have gotten hurt. I did find it interesting that the choice of words from Johnny that made Sam do the jump was the same thing Robby said to her: “You always get what you want.” I did laugh at the Eagle Fang students being trained by Daniel and being more excited at the prospect of choosing which flavor Gatorade that Daniel buys over leading class for a week. Once more, I would choose Terry Silver’s life over having to live in homeless shelters and not getting anything out of therapy due to lack of effort like Kreese.
  12. I feel even worse for Kenny than I did for Eli in Season 1 before becoming Hawk. Eli had a REASON people made fun of him (the cleft lip), but it was still extremely cruel. Kenny on the other hand has nothing to make fun of, but Anthony and his friends are making his life hell just because he was dancing funny and wearing those video game shirts. If Kenny joins a dojo and beats the crap out of all of them, I’m just gonna laugh and say “Yep. That’s what you get.” In real life, bullying has always been a huge problem so it’s probably good that the show does make people aware. I’ve seen people get bullied just as bad at high school in real life as they do on this show. I liked how Johnny shut up and started putting effort into doing the Miyagi-Do lessons when Daniel reminded him how Mr. Miyagi and that style of karate saved his life.
  13. I bet Johnny regretted involving Miguel in his efforts to reconnect with Ali. lol Terry Silver here seems to be doing even better than he was in KK3 and seems richer as well. He mentions he was on cocaine during KK3 and the time frame around it but went through therapy and overcame any need to use. He’s living a dream life I would say, but of course Kreese says he is living a bad life. I’d take Silver’s life and the path he took ANY DAY over living in homeless shelters and not even making an effort in therapy like Kreese. Johnny and Daniel need to rely on some next generation advice from their students when they are being irrational with their arguing. They also need to get it together as the main goal is not to one up each other but to win the tournament so Kreese has to shut down due to their bet.
  14. Hopefully it’s in late March when the show returns; that’s the time I have my fingers crossed for. It is a bummer, though. I was really wanting to see the next upcoming episode.
  15. I liked Hilary Duff when I was younger and still do, but I question how this show will do. Hopefully there’s something up their sleeves that we don’t know about.
  16. I can’t blame them for getting another season filmed right now. You never know what’s going to happen with the COVID situation in the future.
  17. That reminds me of the line from the one episode from the original Roseanne series, where she implied to Dan something along the lines of, “OK, the kids are not here so we can stop pretending you have any say.” And yes, I would agree that DJ is doing the best of all Dan’s children when you consider the whole package. Darlene has a good job but naturally flounders in any relationship she has, and has a terrible relationship with her daughter. Becky’s pretty much a single mom (but she’s still married to Beverly Rose’s father for the sake of him staying in the states IIRC) trying to go to school, coming off of alcoholism. DJ on the other hand, has a steady job and seems to have a good marriage and good relationship with his daughter. Now it makes sense why he isn’t covered so much on this show; he’s too successful to fit in with his “down on their luck” family. 🤣
  18. I’m not sure what was funnier, Janet handing Michael a cactus when she said that she for sure had Eleanor’s file or that woman* behind Trevor laughing when he said no one will believe what a woman says.
  19. Given the nature of Kreese and Silver, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them convince the board to make a division for the senseis (really, it shouldn’t be possible because those are the same two people who got Cobra Kai banned in the 80’s).
  20. Terry Silver from KK3. John Kreese enlisted his help in that movie to get back at Mr. Miyagi and Daniel. The part where Demetri’s being used as a dummy is pretty disturbing but I liked the rest of the trailer.
  21. One look at Tahani's family, and you can completely understand why she is the way she is. I probably found Michael's video loop messages being played over and over again funnier than most viewers have.
  22. Well, the only question in my mind after seeing this episode is what the new villain/past guy's plan is and how it will all unfold. Glad Ellie is now back, and reunited with Rufus.
  23. I found it fascinating how the dollhouse worked, though it is dangerous if the key is left in it and it is left unattended to. :P
  24. I also couldn't remember a good portion of what happened in Season 1 because it had been so long between seasons. Like Eden getting hit by that demon blast or what happened to Ellie.
  25. I only have this game on 3DS. The creativity aspect pulled me in, and I’m sure the Wii U game has even more options to choose from while creating levels.
