I didn't know that the Rubik's Cube was that old (my age!!) but it was all I could think of.

Both go for me too. It was instaget for hubby, but he is a WWII geek.

I have no idea either. Even with a gun to my head I couldn't have come up with it! I'm glad I was able to tie the author having an English title to a British Commonwealth country in time.

Tuesday really showed how important hitting DDs (& answering correctly), and smart FJ wagering are to the game. My FJ thought process was like many others': "La Marseillaise too obvious & too old, what is the name of Haiti's NA?, Sir - English - O Canada!"

It was Monday in the Gimme "5" category. So yes, very recently 😃

I got duct tape, Nanette, & Taft. Guessed Ibsen for FJ; Russians didn't even enter my mind. Loved Rodrigo's answer..lol Rodrigo reminded me of Bart Simpson's friend Milhouse. I agree about Jason. I couldn't for the life of me remember who was the returning champion at the beginning of the season, and when I saw him he was only vaguely familiar. Which is fine with me. I love his steady, knowledgeable, low-key game play. I like runaway games too, especially if I like the winner.

I was afraid that Alex jinxed Jason by mentioning his lucky tie, but no need to fret as it turned out. He is getting more aggressive in his 2nd round DD wagering 👍 The only TS I got was Socrates & that was a big fat guess. I also figured FJ was from colonial or at least pre-Civil War era so was going to settle for 3/5 for the week, but like @SoMuchTV decided to start backwards & there it was. Overthinking is one of my super powers. We said the same thing! I don't like them either. They look dumb & the purpose of sleeves is to keep my arms warm. They can go away & take cold shoulder tops with them.

We laughed at Boss Hogg, not gonna lie. That is 100% the type of error I would make if I ever were to make it on the show & actually be able to signal first, neither of which would happen in a million years. TS I got were assisted living, old man (guess), Orphan Black, child's pose. FJ was an instaget, & I hope to visit the museum again, only this time without a toddler & being 6 months pregnant with twins. I know very little about country music, but that category was so freaking easy. Having said that, it's already set up to record because I love historical documentaries, and I remember listening to old-school country with my grandfather when I was but a wee Toothbrush. Bonus is that it is narrated by Peter Coyote, who has the best voice around now that Alan Rickman has departed the mortal coil.

Not my best game. The only TS I got were For Your Service (guess) & minuet (Jason's missed DD). Surprised that Frank didn't get a BMS to provide Nicholas II's ordinal. FJ was easy thanks to 1900, plains state, & gems. If it makes you feel better (& I'm sure it doesn't 😜 ) I pre-guessed Winnie the Pooh for FJ in honor of your pantsless avatar. I like James, but it is a bit much. I don't blame Jason if he were annoyed. Well, considering I kept thinking today was Wednesday... 🍹

Am I the only one who wanted Alex to ask Jason about his nerdy hobby? Tons of genre 🍷🍷🍷🍷 3 LA shoutouts to moi - in my mind anyway: zydeco, Blue Dog (George Rodrigue was from S La & we have 2 Blue Dog prints), & Exxon Baton Rouge I guess Literary Ladies is the new Women Authors? Good to know. As soon as the Pig Latin category was introduced I hoped for a 3 Stooges clue. That was one of their funniest shorts IMO. TS I got were ixnay, Jane Austen, sweat. FJ was an instaget. A friend of mine's mom was in the Ed Sullivan audience that night, and can be seen in the archival footage. He's great in concert.

Hi Jeopardy buddies!! Happy a new season has begun, and really happy to see how well Alex looked & how energetic he acted. He doesn't seem to have missed a beat over the break. As soon as I saw Jason's tie I thought "looks very 90s" and turns out it was. Nice story though. TS I got were The Help (Jason's DD), Melissa McCarthy, Prius, boxing (guess), Schlossbergman, beanie. Like Holly I said Goliath Town for DD, but Gath seemed vaguely familiar once the answer was revealed. But I would never have come up with it on my own. That's how I got it!

Glad all is well @Clanstarling Dr. Toothbrush had his first colonoscopy at the beginning of the year & it was his first time under any sort of sedation. He was hilarious coming out of it. Like Holly, I said Goliathtown. Hope this is not an omen!

I have no doubt it's for the benefit of the tourists (& TV networks) willing to shell out $$. Although I am sure there is legit wreckage out there. Compared to the rest of her family that makes her a success. To most other people she's nothing more than a ratchet (love that word) gold digger.

Add me to the excited that Timothy Omundson is well enough to be back on TV. He is one of my favorite actors - so versatile. Also excited about Omar Epps, but less so about Jennifer Morrison. Nothing against her, I've just never taken to her as an actor or the characters she's played. Wonder if she & Omar will have scenes together - a House reunion.

I know right? My mom, husband, grandfather, & FIL all went to Tulane for undergrad, my mom also went for medical school, my FIL for law school, & and my grandfather played football for them. I'm ok being Team Keke (I'm totally neutral on her even though I hate the teen stories), but a big NO to Team Nova. I got a laugh out of the girl who was going to have a chain of urgent care clinics by the time she was 27-28. Yeah, no. My husband was just finishing up his residency at that age. I like the characters Darla & RA together, even though the actors have no chemistry, but am heartbroken that he & Deesha broke up. I really liked the character & thought she would be good for RA. Their relationship was a grown-up one IMO. RA better not forgive Nova after seeing the effect her book had on Darla. But he will. As will Darla. SMDH ETA: Unless my wish has come true & the show has decided to cut the teen stories, I predict Micah will decide to either take a gap year at home (ala Jr on Blackish), or stay local for school.

No spoiler, just speculation: Dad (Joe?) was against moving the plant to Mexico, but son facilitated some back alley deal to remove Dad as decision maker, and moved the business. Dad was going to expose the son & son killed him knowing that there would be no shortage of suspects because so many Garfield residents would have a motive. The wrench for me is that the murders in NYC should have had everyone looking in a different direction; it should be fairly easy to determine which pissed off townsperson hied off to New York. As far as I know that number is none sans Ryan. It was nice to see Dr. Rogers from Law & Order playing Det Teen Beat's (lol Fucci) mother. I loved when she & Lennie Briscoe would flirt at the ME's office.

She was also on The Kitchen last week & made a watermelon salad that had everything in it but the kitchen (heh) sink.

I'm glad you're enjoying your trip @zoey1996 & seeing your family. I had heard about the unseasonably hot temps in Europe. Dr Toothbrush & I were saying last night that we think the miniToothbrushes are old enough to where maybe next summer an extended trip to the UK will be feasible (we lost our minds in 2011 & travelled to Ireland with 3 kiddos under the age of 5 - I don't recommend it lol). Enjoy Buckingham Place - are you gong to see the new Victoria/Albert exhibit there? Give the queen my regards!

Congrats to Jason being a 5-day champion! GFH 🍹But I thought Eric would be a fun champion so was rooting for him. Shari turned me off for some reason that I can't put my finger on because she's smart, not annoying, & played the game well. And I love her son's name. My cousin's son is named Gideon & it's a cool name. TS I got were soy milk, Capt. Marvel, Seoul. I said Rumours for FJ. No asterisk for me boo hiss
