Today I had two big surprises. For one, I was really surprised at just how much of the truth Thomas told Hope. And the other - I finally heard Eric say he was glad he was brought back. I still wasn't sure.

Well, one day Brooke and Thomas became stranded on an island. I don't recall the particulars leading to that. They were there for days. There was no recognizable vegetation. The only thing that looked edible were some boink-berries. Boink-berries look like big juicy blackberries with a dot of white-out on each nodule. Brooke and Thomas put it off as long as they could before they tried the boink-berries. They didn't know if they were poisonous. Well, it turns out that boink-berries are not poisonous but have psychedelic properties. They were trippin'! They got amorous. And it was never really made clear whether they actually boinked or just did a lot of dry humping in the sand.

Ugh. Ewwww. Yuck. Oscar was without a doubt the worst character on B&B ever. (Yeah, and Amber had a twin over there.) He had the worst affected accent any human being has ever used. Listening to him speak made my skin crawl. Glad I'm barely watching the show anymore and I hope and pray I don't have to endure him again. Just ewwww. It's payback for Austin. Like anybody cares. But Sally said that she only had the boring flavors left. Which has had me wondering, what are the boring flavors of chocolate truffles? And what are the exciting flavors of chocolate truffles? I think Sally's more of a Reeses peanut butter cup kind of girl anyway. It seems pointless to me. Auntie Jordan is insane. A confrontation won't do any good and will just give Jordan another opportunity to be hurtful to Claire. Telling someone who is evil and insane how they hurt you either makes them lash out more or strokes their ego. I guess Claire's physiachiatrist went to the same matchbook cover clown college that Sharinsane did. Claire may as well get a cat and try to teach it long division.

His mouth and teeth are so weird. I thought that professional actors all had their teeth done. I can't understand why this guy was cast as RJ. Is he IRL some Hollywood nepo baby? You're talking about French lace, aren't you? ;) Oh, I do. It is surprising to me that they are finally addressing Emma's death. It's been so long ago. I wasn't expecting so many flashbacks. Hey, what am I saying - this show does flashbacks to earlier scenes of the same episode regularly! But I'm glad for these flashbacks. They've got more flashbacks to go to let the newer viewers know what happened. Can't wait to see Thomas leave her there to die. It wasn't murder, but it was something. Every episode with Thomas in that black shirt had me thinking, that's a $Bill shirt. God help me, it must be the flu affecting me, but today for the first time I saw the Hope and Thomas chemistry and I started rooting for them. Makes no sense. I think Xander and Finn are just getting on my nerves. And Stuffy the cousin-killer is just a hopeless case.

Thomas hasn't done any work on screen or off screen. He just knows that he has to cool his jets, lay low and play the game to get the pass his family always gives him. Hope either had to work with him or lose HFTF. You know, the fashion line that is either the most successful line FC has or is tanking, depending on the barometric pressure on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or depending on which way the wind is blowing the rest of the week. Teams of weather professionals on all of the major and local networks are never sure. It's pretty tricky to keep track of, but I guess that's what the interns are there to do. Why Hope went there with Thomas is a mystery for the ages, but it's safe to say that Liam drove her to it. Putting up with Liam for as long as she did broke her. So when you consider that Thomas has been gettin' it on the regular, of course he seems sane and less aggressive - he's less stressed, he's distracted, and quite frankly, spent. And here comes Fibberty Finnegan threatening to take that away from him. Sigh. I predict Thom-ass will do something wicked and wild to the good doctor and... just in the nick of time - Mommy-nine-toes will come to the rescue and save her son. And ultimately nothing will change. Of course, that's a best case scenario. Worst case scenario - in a word - Liam.

Oh, Finny Finnegan, why did you have to go and say, "as long as I live and breathe "? I hope that wasn't an anvil. I don't want Finn written out. Or Finn and Steffy split up. Man, after weeks of everyone being up in Eric's grill unable to leave him alone for a second they barely mention him now. I'd like to see how his recovery is coming along. I'm also curious as to why they think he will be a completely changed person. Dr. Finn's amazing mystery surgery wasn't a personality-ectomy was it?

I forgot that everything has to be about Steffy.

Have Ash and Syph ever had the same man? I can't recall any.

When Sludge was giving Hope the third degree it was like a lightbulb went on and Hope finally remembered what a psycho Thomas is and some of the crap he pulled. On her, no less! I don't remember Xander being gay, but he sure seems gay for Finn. And Finn, you need to watch how you treat Thomas around Stuffy. I could so hear her tell him, you may have saved my grandfather's life but no one talks to my psycho brother like that but me so I'm going back to Liam. I honestly never thought I'd hear about any Avant again. And those flashbacks! I just pray the Frankenmodel doesn't return. She's scarier looking than I remembered. Overly dramatic Xander and underly dramatic Finn were a complete hoot to watch! I never laughed so hard at hearing the word "murder" before!

I am so perplexed by the hairdo on Hope. She looks like Jane Curtain circa 3rd Rock From The Sun. Is this really a trending look? And Doctor Finn-kenstein, shouldn't he be exhibiting some sort of emotion about his amazing mystery miracle surgery working? Something like... Finn died and came back, but we haven't heard anything from him regarding that unique perspective. And his mother is the one who brought him back. Why isn't he enlisting her help, at least as a consultant? I don't think Finn and Hope is going to happen any time soon, but based on what we saw in the operating room, Finn and Bridget, maybe?

It's funny, I was thinking just the opposite. I've been appreciating what a better actor she is than several, (okay most), of the other "actors" in this story line.

I was expecting his first words to be, "who are you?". John McCook deserved this story line. After they gave him the erectile dysfunction story they owed him big time. And I'm so glad he's still on the show.

Stephanie had a bible? And flames didn't shoot out of it when Brooke opened it? If Stephanie ever prayed, I would have had Stephanie pegged as someone who prayed to an entity much darker than Satan.

What was with those two non-actors on Wednesday? Was there a contest on the back of a Frosted Flakes box that they won?

I'm team Zende. Everything he said to Sludge The Greasy Hobo was true. Sludge The Greasy Hobo is a heartless bastard. And besides, Eric has been Zende's grandfather longer than he has been RJ's. Eric chose RJ to help him because he was embarrassed about his condition and wanted to hide it. He figured he could fool RJ the most. Sludge The Greasy Hobo should be bringing the whole entire design team together to honor Eric and finish Eric's line. Including Eric's children who are on safari. Not only a very select few - him and his chosen son, and excluding Zende and Thomas, two bona fide successful Forrester designers and family. Fuck Sludge The Greasy Hobo. And can we just put a paper bag over RJ's head? Or at least put him in full drag?

If Eric wakes up and his funny bone is gone...

She used her first name, Nikki. I don't recall if she used a last name. The crowd at The Bayou used to chant for her, "Nikki! Nikki! We want Nikki!"

Or she could just stay at the farm and play Gaspy's video game.

Donut was okay, but not great. And that goes for all of his performances. Definitely the weakest of the three tonight. There is some serious ass-kissing going on to have him win over those two talented, powerful, professional singers. Either one of which could have been the season winner. I'm guessing that Oates must have sung a Hall written song and the show was forced to cut it due to the lawsuit. Depending on the timing of when the season was filmed and in the can, and when the lawsuit was filed, they may or may not have been able to have had Oates come back for a song before the season ends. Probably not.

As an unapologetic Sheila fan, I could have gone for some more back and forth story between Taylor and Sheila. Taylor thinks she can reach the psychopath, Sheila cons Taylor, for a while anyway. There could've been more meaty fun there. And in all seriousness, wouldn't it be fun to see Taylor "die" yet again. ;)

Truth. We've seen it happen time and time again, with both characters and whole story lines. But why can't they be bothered to give a decent exit story?
