  1. Is it just an old wives tales that you shouldn't go swimming right after eating? I always heard that growing up. RJ and Fibberty Jibberty sure came back quickly after that swim in the ocean. They didn't even have time to climb down that cliff and stick their toes in. I think they just hosed each other off on the patio.
  2. I'm totally okay with unnamed soap diseases. We get invested in the characters on soaps, watching them longer than we know some of our friends. When a character succumbs to a disease, and someone watching also has that disease, it can be very emotionally upsetting, even devastating for that viewer. I find it very responsible for soaps to have their characters die due to unnamed soap diseases. And in fact, I swing the other way, I don't like it when any show gives a character a disease and then treats it very unrealistically or the writers even forget about it all together. And when a disease is non-life threatening and they follow through with it, I agree with you that it is a good thing when they raise awareness.
  3. I don't know... when we get a tear jerker story that contestant is usually unmasked. I'd like to have Donut and Anteater stay. I can't stand Candelabra, but her style is popular. I think Cuddle Monster was the weakest tonight. ETA: You were right!
  4. I loved Trolls in the '60's when I was little. They scream the '60's to me. I just did some googling on that Anteater spoiler, and yup, that's him. He was a "scrappy wrestler" in high school. And a bunch of stuff about cars and Nascar. And yes, he (they) did Live Aid.
  5. I like the wig on Ken. He looks like he's ready to sell tarako noodles.
  6. Poppy needs to learn boundaries. Who the hell randomly shows up at their daughter's place of internship, (in a different city, if not state, too), uninvited and unannounced, and also who the hell let her in the building and told her what office Luna would be in, or did she just go from office to office looking for her? Why are Poppyseed and Li having a heated conversation at FC? Neither one of them should be there. How the hell did RJ get that tight, tiny shirt over his pumped arms? Does he have to go all Hulk to out of his clothes?
  7. It would be about eight years, I think. I remember when the twins, Steffy and Phoebe, sang at their mother's funeral. I think they were about seven years old. That was the worst singing I ever heard on tv. I don't know why they had those little girls do that. No matter how good of an idea someone thought they had, once they heard that wretched caterwauling they should have pulled the plug on that scene. And those little girls weren't that good at acting either. But that singing. Jeezaloo. It was bad. Then Brooke raised the girls. Steffy was the one who liked Brooke. Which was ironic because of who she was named after. But they seem to have forgotten all about that. Then Taylor came back from the dead. Then the twins went to boarding school in Europe to finish high school. Which made no sense since they just got their mother back. The twins graduated over there and Phoebe came home first, had a musical career with some bad singer called Constant-stink and then had a triangle with Rick and Taylor the saint. Steffy finally came home. The twins were no longer identical. Then Phoebe died.
  8. No brainer, Hibiscus was the weakest. But Anteater as the second weakest? No way.
  9. I liked the Janice Dickinson guess for Hibiscus. Both Donut and Anteater are real singers and I feel like I should know them. I agree with you, Bookworm13, the height thing is confusing. The only person I can think of who would be that height is Paul Williams. And I don't think that's him. Whoa, David Jo! I'd love it if he was on, but at least, Hot Hot Hot is on for a snippet.🖤
  10. Well, I say it's high time for Cricket to become a CEO. She's been in town for nearly a month now. What's taking JG so long?
  11. Luna finding the stapler in the box confused me. I thought that box was supposed to be stuff that Ridge packed away years ago. And I thought that the stapler was something that Ridge just threw out a couple of months ago. And little Luna just walked into a tiny half filled room and found the right unmarked box immediately? I guess that when all that people do in an office is gossip and boink there really isn't much concern about office supplies and storage space. Thanks, I missed that tidbit. But how? They made it sound like these gowns were all one of a kinds, and that only one of each would be sold. Originally they were saying whoever got the most orders for their collection, then it somehow got changed to one each of each individual gown. So there were 20 gowns and Eric and Sludge each designed ten? And only twenty sales could be made, one of each? And coincidentally everyone who bought one, including Esther, got the one they wanted, except for the Countless. But less than twenty sold. Am I following this correctly? And to top it off it took Carter how long to come up with the tally? And then add in Thomas somehow doing something to make Sludge win? Color me confused about this as well.
  12. I was waiting to see a gown that looked like one she might possibly wear. Between all of the bodice tops and the high slit skirts they were all the equivalent of bathing suits with tulle. I got the impression that she was doing a cockeyed hand held stream via her phone. Me too. I was so disgusted with Sludge getting the win. It was too much like real life, you work so hard and give something your all, especially something that means the world to you, and then you lose. Fuck Bell and the rest of them. And do we think that Eric will die thinking he won? Or will he find out that it was fake, that it was pity? It's not like the contest was promoted or anyone outside of the inner circle knew. So far, Carter, Sludge, Brooke, RJ and Katie know the truth. Who's left that knew there was a competition, Hope, Thomas, Donna, Zende, Paris, Luna and Eric himself? Am I leaving anyone out? Will Eric be the last to know? Will he die of embarrassment? I can't see there being any pay-off that will make this worthwhile. BTW, I heard in the news this week that Luna is the number one most popular name for a female dog this year.
  13. I'd much rather have a "the role of RIDGE Forrester is now being played by". The current greasy hobo plays him like he's a hitman for the mob, completely deadpan with absolutely no emotion in his eyes.
  14. Is Esther's purchase of one gown going to be the tie breaker?
  15. And then there's this: https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/marie-osmond-fulfills-bucket-list-dream-star-bold-beautiful
  16. That's exactly what I meant. But you left out Rick and Bridget! And the grown man he adopted, Donna's son Marcus.
  17. The very first thing everyone should have said to Lauren when they saw her was that Sheila was on the loose. Instead of no mention of her at all. Thomas talks to Hope about the budget when he is manipulating her. He professes his love, she gets a look on her face, he brings up the budget and the HFTF line and she's smiling at him again. You would think that Eric had only one son, the Marone. They better not kill him off before or during the showdown.
  18. That was great. I remember reading an interview with John McCook years ago and he described Eric as being as dumb as a box of hair. LOL.
  19. On my computer screen I cannot tell what this emoji is supposed to be. It looks like a faucet or a wonky stalk of broccoli. In fact when I read it, I say in my mind, "Taz Broccoli", every time. What is it really?
  20. Having Michael Baldwin back for Thanksgiving is something to be thankful for. I 🖤 CLB!
  21. Is Phylthy's retro rivalry with Mulva over and now we're moving on to a retro rivalry between her and Cricket?
  22. Are they still a couple? I'm glad Donna has someone to talk to about it and that Katie is now team Eric. I got confused today when RJ told Sludge and Brooke that yes, there was something else going on with Eric. And then that was it, nothing more. They just left it at that? I thought RJ was going to spill the beans. Glad he didn't. If he had then Sludge might do some crummy designs intentionally out of pity. I want Eric to win fair and square. And if Eric doesn't win I will never forgive this show. Was today Casual Friday at FC? I don't recall Carter dressing like that at the office.
  23. This show did kill Stephanie. So I'm not exactly expecting a cure for Eric. I'm actually wondering if Susan Flannery is going to make a guest ghost appearance to escort Eric to the other side. I was bewildered when they came back from commercial and Eric and Donna had been given the bad news off screen by the concierge doctor. Doctor Li brought Fibberty Jibberty back from the dead. Doctor Fibbertty Jibberty cured Stuffy's ten minute, 2 pills a day, drug addiction. Eric's own doctor daughter can google a cure for anything. And nurse Sheila would move heaven and earth if she thought it would help her achieve her goals. Maybe Donna should send them a group text.
  24. Thomas is only half Sheila's age. give him a chance to catch up. I'm sure that by the time he's as old as she is now, he will have surpassed her. Does Sheila know that Liam wants Finn's wife? Even with that wife being Stuffy, this might displease Sheila greatly.
