I am totally interested in everything on the show right now, and that hasn't happened in years. And because it's a story about Eric, I'm actually paying attention to what comes out of Sludge's mouth. Without cringing. Too much. Which is weird because Hope has kept insisting to Thomas, before they boink, that she's only in it for the sex and will never return his feelings. Out of the blue. IRL, Donna was an olympic swimmer and is a scientific genius, I believe. And re HFTF, they changed direction with the designing for that line to make it look just like their couture, but they are pretending that they didn't.

Jeez Louise, I watched today. A rarity for me. And I saw Traci's hair. WTActualF? That hair would look bad even if no one was under it. Get that girl a hat, STAT! And then there's Mamie's hair. I didn't even recognize her. As much as I enjoy seeing familiar faces, what is Mamie's purpose for being in GC? To fuck with Jill, who is not even in GC? Jill and Lily and Devon are happy and successful and rich in their current business arrangement. Why does Mamie all of a sudden want to mess things up for everyone? And as much as I'd love to see anything that gives Jill some story, the way things are going on this show, I seriously doubt we'll even get a face-time glimpse of Jill. Was that run-in at the staircase between Ms. Johnson and Mr. McCall an anvil? Now, if Mamie's evil scheme works and then backfires with her losing the company to Tucker, well then.... bring it on. And regarding Mamie and Part, doesn't she know about his duplicitous actions towards his cousins and his duplicitous actions at NE and worst of all, his mop-boinking?

It's a Bell tradition to have two siblings of the same gender, one good and one bad. I don't know if it's a standard trope on other soaps.

This is the second Mamie. Even though your question was answered above, I just wanted to say that I always liked the first Mamie best and never understood why the character was recast. The first actress played her with kindness, this one not so much. And she was in the role for a long time. When I think of Mamie, I always picture the first actress.

When RJ was talking with Donna I found it odd that he calls her Donna and not Aunt Donna. He's still pretty young. But then I realized that since his aunt is shacked up with his grandfather they probably don't want to make us think about that.

That's been going on for a very long time. Maybe someone at Sony tells them both to go in the same direction, unbeknownst to the writers of each show? Maybe there's a spy? Brooke needs to call Child Protective Services, for real this time! LOL. They are building up to a big take-down for Sheila. And while she deserves it, I don't want to see Deacon caught in the cross-fire.

It makes no sense that Deacon could get a specific judge to be the judge appointed to Sheila's case, and get his friend the judge to let her off scott free (pun intended)(although Lauren crossed over to B&B and had problems with Sheila here, I'm not sure non-Y&R viewers will know the reference) but he was never able to get himself out of jail any time he was incarcerated. It was a thrill to see David Kimball I must admit, but then it was like, huh? Deacon had a judge in his pocket and never used him until now?

Y&R used to have characters on for years who didn't know each other, and paths never crossed. (Now every story line on the show is like a clown car, everyone piles on.) David Kimball was Jill's secretary/admin. assistant for years before he turned into a bad guy. Ultimately, he died a horrific death in a trash compactor at a costume party gala while people watched. But before that he forced a plastic surgeon at gun point to make him look like David Hasselhoff, (who played Snapper on Y&R), only the plastic surgeon knew that David Kimball was going to kill him after the surgery, so the surgeon did this to him instead -

Boy, that affair was fast. It lasted about a few weeks in our time and about four days in GC time. Oh P&E - Happiest of Birthdays to you!

It seemed like it was supposed to be Kelly that hit Deliah, but for some crappy reason mid-story they switched it to Adam. I would love it if they would revisit that and prove that it wasn't Adam after all. That story could have a lot of impact and repercussions, if done well. They're back to that again? I thought they just dropped it and moved on.
