  1. I thought Chris did a great job with the Trump surrogate (can't remember his name, don't care). He was polite but didn't back down from showing his disdain for the other guy's specious arguments.
  2. Love, love, meh, who?, meh, love, meh, LOVE. Chris Hayes eviscerated whichever Trumbot was on his show tonight (I suck with names). He managed to be both civil and full of disdain.
  3. I loved Schwartz saying Trump is not a mixed bag, I.e. that he's just a terrible person. I don't care about his daddy issues or whatever psychological disorders he has. I don't want him in a position of power.
  4. MJ: "Who would have believed that, post debate, Trump would be within 7 points?" Everyone else on TV, you fucking idiot. I can't watch this dreck unless Eugene is on.
  5. Just as I was thinking "but the Dems never capitalize on opportunities," Rachel said the same thing. We are simpatico! Except I couldn't be polite to the odious KAConway.
  6. Re WADR: Could that "family values" guy be any more of a rude, hypocritical douche?
  7. Her saying that of course the first female candidate would be running against a misogynistic pig like Trump was such a great point.
  8. Lawrence was my first political tv boyfriend back in 1992 (yes, I'm old) when he was on Comedy Central during their election coverage with Al Franken. He can get a bit ponderous but but he's so smart.
  9. Thanks for that link. I enjoyed that discussion. WADR was weird, maybe because of all the remotes but also because Donny was the only one pissed off about Trump's creepy clown lurking.
  10. What is with MJ and the Bork nomination? I hardly ever watch the show but even I've heard this more than once. I couldn't stand Mika this morning repeatedly saying that Hillary should have explained her actions from 30 years ago. NO, she doesn't have to do that. If it weren't for Eugene Robinson, I would never watch this show. Add me to the "Hugh Hewitt - WHY?" group. He's just awful. I prefer Nicolle Wallace, and I barely tolerate her. I saw Rachel ask Tweety about Giuliani. I thought it was a good question and he answered it well. I want Clinton to win for many, many reasons and one of them is that I hope it puts an end to Giuliani ever being out in public again.
  11. I want to like this show but the screaming children...no. Stop it.
  12. Swing by Albany and pick me up. I was calm for a few weeks after the convention but now I find myself longing for Steve Kornacki and his map showing Trump can't win.
  13. I've been saying this to my friends for a while now because it's infuriating. If the media mentioned this as often as they mention how disliked she is, I'd be less incensed. Then again, I feel I am in no way settling or choosing the lesser of two evils or whatever other bullshit I keep hearing. I've liked HRC since 1992 and I'm thrilled to be voting for her. Jut to bring this back on topic - I'd love to see Hillary on Rachel once more before the election.
  14. I'm having hip replacement surgery the Thursday before the election so was going to do an absentee ballot, but then I decided - no, I want to actually go and vote for the 1st woman president. Even if it is just checking a box and putting a sheet in a scanner (I miss the old voting booths and pulling the levers!). So my Republican friend who will be helping me after surgery will just have to drive me over there. Ha!
  15. I had to stop the DVR and write this down: "...the insecure ping ponging around every sentence, like every comma offers a new alternative and a new option for a different direction to go in, because this sentence was going nowhere from the top..." So.much.this. Also, "clip and save moment" - hee!
  16. Hugh Hewitt - UGH. In contrast, Pete Williams is always thoughtful and informative.
  17. Chris had a great lineup of guests tonight. Ken Burns was excellent.
  18. Most of us are vitamin d deficient. We all need to get outside more!
  19. Thanks for the laugh, attica. I always think of Trump as the short-fingered vulgarian Spy magazine pegged him as. Tiny fingers, tiny hands, tiny heart, tiny intellect.
  20. I loved every second of the show. I'm too exhausted from fear to be angry, so I'm glad she's expressing my rage.
  21. I also laughed at some of those clips., so maybe I'll see you in hell!
  22. I watched Joy's show and groaned when she introduced Boris, but then Malcolm Nance - yay! Joy did a good job. I particularly enjoyed her saying she liked how Boris threw a complete falsehood in at the end of one of his garbage-filled comments. Ha!
  23. I liked Rachel telling her newbie guest he should be on the "tv machine" more often. It was a nice way to compliment him.
  24. I think season 2 is starting strong. Good guests, good interviews, good comedy bits. I'm glad I didn't bail on the show.
