  1. I noticed that about Robyn, too. When she was Kody's obsession it was nothing but Robyn, Robyn, Robyn! And Meri said something like 10 words in the entire 2 hours. I thought it was really bizarre that they would do that to a book - you can buy an entire ream of printer paper for very little at Office Max / Office Depot / Staples - whatever you have in your area of the country. But then I considered the source. (eyeroll).
  2. Don't count on it. They never get THAT open or truthful on the show. Just look at the catfishing fiasco for proof of that.
  3. Fantastic post!! You just voiced so many thoughts running through my head! In regards to Dimitri and the 22 year old nymph - we have never been given any indication that SHE was told that boinking is a no no until they are a committed threesome... so next week's show where Ashley demands to be told the truth about the tumble between the sheets or else Jocelyn is out the door - is that fair? Gotta know the rules from the get-go. Maybe this is Ashley's ace up the sleeve... every single time they meet a new potential sister wife, Dimitri goes out and has sex... and then Ashley gets to say "GONG!!! Next contestant, please! I ALSO thought I heard April say she was the "real wife" and thought.... what the heck? Drew needs to dust off his balls and set things straight. He isn't very masculine, from everything I have seen. No one is asking for a disgusting cave man... but geeze louise.... man up, dude!! He's the biggest pansy. And YES.... these other two wives would just dump that poor baby off without a second thought if things went badly? This is three separate marriages and families stuffed under one roof. Did you also notice that April is ALWAYS sitting next to Drew.... and they always grip him until his hands turn blue! No wonder he has such health issues... his circulation is getting all screwed up!
  4. Except Dimitri didn't even marry ASHLEY!! Supposedly he wants all of his harem... OH! Excuse me... all of the women in his TRIBE... to be equal! I think Ashley is either A.) in denial about her jealousy or (more likely) B.) pretending HARD not to be jealous because it will make Dimitri mad and she is doing all of this to hang onto her man.
  5. Oh my gosh - do ANY of you watch Game of Thrones???? RAMSEY BOLTON!! 'nuff said!!! (I was DYING!) HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! EDIT: For those of you who don't watch Game of Thrones..... Ramsey Bolton was the biggest A-hole since the dawn of time.... and his dogs ATE him, starting with his face. His fault - he starved them so that they would eat his enemies. Plus he fed his stepmother and new baby brother to the same dogs. Poetic justice. I was waiting to see Drew munched. HUGE disappointment. Maybe TLC turned the cameras off so the viewers wouldn't see the gore....??!?
  6. Totally agree. The viewers are NOT impressed with Tony (I said that nicely) and since he's a constant insensitive slob ("I won't cry when I see my bride", "You wore your hair up" (nothing really nice to say other than she looked "Fine"), etc. etc. they had to think up something that would "endear" him to the viewers. Didn't work with me. It's a little obvious when Mykelti had a beautiful wrap that was given to her and she refused to wear it in arctic weather, that this was a set-up.
  7. I thought the EXACT same thing last night! There is no WAY that Mykelti thinks her mother could be a professional singer. That was truly awful! OK - ya'all can stone me but.... I was waiting for the frisbees to bean everybody and be awful and you know what.... LOLOL ..... I actually thought it was kind of fun and cute. So sue me. BUT - I would NOT have ever done that at my wedding.... however if someone ELSE wants to do it at their wedding... hey, I will be tossing the frisbee AT the couple! :D (I mean, how bad can it really hurt? Their bodies were already numb from the cold anyway!
  8. You watch it so that you can come talk with us about it on the boards! : )
  9. Probably Drew. He is the one who LOVES LOVES LOVES the fighting and drama between his wives and won't do anything to put a stop to it... because isn't it fun to have three woman FIGHTING over you??? (Eyeroll). The other guy's wives seem to get along quite well and he doesn't seem to show favoritism. I almost like both of his wives but it's too soon to say. (Vanessa and Sharis). The thing that bothers me about HIM is that he has a previous wife and fiftydozen kids with her and yet he treats her/them like they don't exist. I think that's a crappy thing for a dad to do. Even if he just mentioned that he is divorced from his first wife... or his first wife and kids didn't want to be on the show - or whatever the truth happens to be. The viewing audience isn't stupid and when someone finds photos of he and this wife and kids - people are going to confused and wonder what's going on.
  10. Wasn't it fun? I didn't think I would like this show at first - and I honestly can't stand most of the people (I'm starting to like a couple of them - MAYBE) but it's certainly interesting! Seriously! I wondered the same thing. Previews make it sound like she might have a tumor or cyst or something.
  11. Quite a few people agreed with you, including me. Also - on tonight's show he stood up for his little kids against Bridezilla's demands - so I was proud of him once again! lol
  12. Against my better judgement I started watching "Seeking Sister Wives" and it's been an interesting ride so far. I can't stand most of them, but I think I MIGHT like the wives of one family. WAYYYY too early to say. (Vanessa and Sharis.) You know - there aren't all THAT many polygamists out there compared to monogamists.... so what is the deal with the tons of shows?
  13. Did ANYONE ELSE notice how when Mykelti was walking down the aisle, Tony was looked at the CAMERA and fixing his hair????
  14. I have to say - the singing. Wow. Just wow. You know - I cannot sing. Can't carry a tune. But I KNOW this. Why does SHE not know how awful she sounds? And her daughter said she should have become a professional singer? What the heck? Why is NO ONE honest in that family? I seriously was cringing at how flat and off-key she was... and I am not even saying this to be snarky! That's just the truth.
  15. You are right!! When they started going inside you could tell there was more than 100 people. Just don't believe 400. Maybe 300 people were smart enough to stay in from the cold.
  16. That's generous. I saw a LOT of empty chairs! It looks like 60 people - max.
  17. Mykelti: "It's MY wedding and it's what I want!" Kody: "I am NOT putting Ariella and the little ones outside in the cold!" Whoever said they are liking Kody more these days - I agree. Good for him, thinking of his baby girl and not putting her in harm's way because of her selfish older sister's whims! I GET that it's her wedding - but sometimes you ALSO have to think of other's welfare.
  18. Tony just irritates me. I keep asking myself if it's because I am already prejudiced against him for things he has said in the past - and it's very possible. I thought he COULD have thrown Mykelti a crumb when she asked if he liked her hair right before the wedding..... you know - I just can't help it - I don't feel like he is really that into her. I keep wondering if he is more into the SHOW and being on camera. He's never very kind to her - is he. And wanting to bash a pinata that is supposed to represent her - none of this feels like love, to me.
  19. I watch My 600 Pound Life now and then, and I honestly think Tony is heading towards being on that show.
  20. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! I don't know why that just cracked me up!! Wait - I don't get this!! They are in Disney World, right? Or was that in the past? Isn't Disney World where that terrible tragedy happened when a little preschooler was eaten by an alligator? And she made a joke about not finding one? Maybe I've been cleaning too much today, (and inhaled too many fumes! ha ha) but this went over my head.
  21. I don't care what anyone else thinks, I LOVE LOVE LOVE carnations! I think they smell absolutely wonderful and they are perky and adorable flowers.
  22. It makes you wonder if their enormous weight is just a secondary bi-product of a type of mental illness.
  23. Fantastic post!!! And no, I don't think that has EVER happened on the show. I am guessing she would apply for welfare and live in Section 8 Housing. She would certainly have to tone down her eating.
  24. From the blog: "I would have included a picture of Kody dancing, but I believe it's illegal in 15 states and Canada. Here's a family portrait instead." LOLOL!!!
  25. I think that despite any mental issues going on, this is a given. I personally believe that is very selfish to EXPECT your family members to wait on you for everything including BATHING you, helping you take care of your bodily functions, dressing you - anything and everything - because of something YOU did to YOURSELF!! These people were not born with disabilities. MANY people suffer abuse in their childhood but do not flop on a mattress and eat until they weigh a ton. We only see some of the obese people who see Dr. Now to make changes. There has to be numerous people out there in similar situations who do NOT want to change and I have to wonder why these people think it is ok to expect their loved ones to essentially "donate" their time and lives to making THEM happy and cared for. It is like they're grown infants... helpless unless their every need is taken care of. The only difference between the bedridden obese and a true infant is that the adults are verbal - and they don't eat baby food. Other than that, I see no differences whatsoever. "Bathe me, change my pee/poo pads or help me to the bathtub and then clean up after me, (I've actually seen that on the show and felt SOOO sorry for the family member that has to muck out the bathtub after the monthly poo extravaganza) bring me food, dress me, take me here/there/wherever (if I can get out of the house), bring me more food, close the curtains because of the sun, open the curtains, bring me this/that/whatever object I want, bring me more food." You know - writing this I realize that the caregivers have to have mental issues as well. My 600 Pound Life doesn't do updates very often - and the only person I saw who was successful long-term was a woman named Melissa - and even she gained back something like half of the weight she had lost. Really sad after skin surgery and years of hard work.
