  1. I'm watching the last season now. I'll post the unpopular opinion: I wouldn't have wanted Harrison to have been next in line to be a serial killer. He's Rita's legacy, too. I really liked her. I don't like Hannah, but I mentioned in another thread that it feels disrespectful to his relationship with Rita. I bought his really falling in love with HER, but not this true serial killer love, be still my beating heart rubbish. I'm sad to hear that Deb dies. She's been the most realistic with her responses to everything.
  2. This made me laugh so hard. LOL - because I can picture that. I can't believe there are three more episodes. I haven't watched every episode. It makes sense that they've come back to Cyrus being the final baddie, since he's been power hungry and a murderer all along.
  3. I don't like him with Hannah, because I liked Rita. When he realized he actually was in love with her, it felt real. They were married, he saw her kids as his own - this is just wrong. I don't like dopey Dexter.
  4. Oh god. I thought this meant Daryl was going to kiss someone. I'd forgotten that people actually do get eaten in this show. By walkers, and the hipsters. I never read fan fiction. I heard about it years ago.
  5. Right. There is no way he can make it right - those people are dead (from what I heard/read - still haven't watched).
  6. I love Jackie, and expected her to be wacky at first. Standing dramatically at the door, as it opened, wearing her hat and nasty woman T-shirt. :) I haven't watched this show for years. Mum used to watch the reruns regularly. I couldn't remember who some of the people are, that have been mentioned - I remembered the main cast. The girl cast as Darlene's daughter, is great - she looks like she could be her daughter. I'm still watching the second episode. I also felt a little teary-eyed when it started, and her name came up on the screen.
  7. I saw that years ago, and thought of that, too. :)
  8. I had a nightmare that I had turned into a zombie, the way they do in this show - I threw up all over the place, and only realized what was happening when I had a red ball coming out of my mouth - only it was partially squished. Ew.
  9. Agreed, I think it would have been the worst thing to ever happen to Jessica, if she had to kill her mother.
  10. Loved the clam breeder's response to her building getting blown up. Can't remember the exact quote, but that was hilarious. I wish there were more than ten episodes.
  11. I'm so glad the dogs weren't killed in this episode, or the one with them competing for a house to sell. Any other show, Fido would have gone bye-bye.
  12. I knew I recognized her from somewhere, but at first, I thought she was Olivia Newton John. LOL.
  13. "If I win one argument this year, let it be this one!" LMAO I thought Joel was going to build his bookshelves, when Ramona turned up after kidnapping Eric. It was nice to see that he was saving him.
  14. "I would just like to have a normal conversation." haha! At least he finally got his Chinese food. I love Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. The way he kept trying to make out that he heard a different word instead of "white" trying to get Sheila away from them, cracked me up. The teenagers are great, too. The way their daughter just shook her head at Gary, and shut the doors on him again.
  15. Me, too! I did like Clive an Ravi's amusement at the ice rink. Clive pointing out his "little one" on the ice, and the woman looking disgusted; Ravi getting out his phone, to film her slamming another guy.
  16. I was going to put it off, and record a few more episodes before watching, but decided to just put it on this morning (quiet and rainy = perfect for watching something like this). I'm enjoying it, too, for all of the reasons you and others have mentioned. We also happened to lose the van in Cleveland, on Saturday, after I'd participated in a certain "walk". Dad couldn't remember where he'd parked it, and I was over walking after just ten minutes of looking, and panicking a bit, at the prospect of not finding it - and that was in a busy city, where I could get something to eat and drink, and get out of the cold wind, if needed. I was wishing I could link up to the GPS in the van, with my phone, to locate it. I can't imagine being stuck where these men are, and making that hike, dragging a boat, too!
  17. I recorded it, haven't watched it yet. A poster from another board here, said that they read the book, and it was fantastic. So, I'm going to give it a try.
  18. I don't think everyone is expected to hate it. I just don't enjoy it anymore. I still haven't watched it. I WISH I still liked it.
  19. I didn't watch Into the Badlands, either, and I'm usually willing to give new shows a chance. I just don't like people trying to make me do something. Heels go into the ground, every time.
  20. Just skimmed the chat thread. You all make me laugh - but I didn't know I missed the beginning of "Trust" last night. Damn. I will check out "The Terror" but by itself. I don't like it when they fudge things, or make you wait for something that would be on at 10pm, just to try to gain viewers for a new show (which might actually do better than TWD, given their ratings this year).
  21. I saw that. I haven't watched the episode - I fell asleep before it started - but people I follow, including people with those tick marks after their name, were pissed over the guts now causing infection (on weapons/when they come into contact with wounds), when that hadn't happened before. I hate Negan, so that part makes me happy, but I think part of the reason the writing is bad, is because they're protecting the character. Everyone is stupid, because they want to keep him around.
  22. Oh! I hadn't read that, about Tobin. okay. :) I wondered if what's his name was pissed, and wanted to leave.
  23. There are apparently three more episodes after tonight. The last one airs the day after my birthday. It usually ends in March, though.
  24. I've just downloaded the first book. I'd never heard of it.
  25. Is that tonight? If Michael Rooker is there, could it be Daryl? I think it was around Thanksgiving, or early December. I remember Garrett Dillahunt posting video of snow in Austin, on instagram, right around that time. Unless I'm thinking of more snowfall they had down there. Unexpected.
