It doesn't make sense if the "magic" comment isn't related to Olicity, unless they're deciding to forget about the magic in season 4, which, given some of what they've done, wouldn't be surprising... I really hope it's not just their first meeting again or Oliver stalking her. It would be nice if it had to do with the 3x14 flashback in some way - I still want to see him telling her that he saw her back then.

Some quick thoughts: I wasn't wowed by this like I hoped to be. The best (and most heartbreaking) scenes were with the Queens. Oliver saying goodbye to his parents, thinking he had to say goodbye to Thea, Thea wanting to stay? Oh, those hurt in a good way. Loved Diggle as the Hood and the OTA scene in the bunker - and the flashes Oliver had of Diggle and Felicity - but I wish we'd seen OTA together in the real world after their return. Why couldn't Felicity be on the Waverider? Speaking of Felicity, first Curtis interrupts her, then Rory recognizes something she should have? Really? I guess we can blame that on stress? They do remember she's a genius, though, right? Remember when Barry and Caitlin called her the best hacker in the world on The Flash? Do the Arrow writers even know that happened? Rory remains my favorite of the recruits. Rene remains awful. And not even a mention of Evelyn. I mean, I know they didn't want to deal with the whole betrayal angle, but it's not like she goes to school or anything and no one wondered where she was while aliens were attacking? Sure... (Also, I had a random moment where I felt bad for Paul when Curtis was saying it was the best day of his life. Paul doesn't know about Curtis being Mr. Terrific, right?) Loved the Tommy mention/Chicago Med shout-out. But the holograms were... odd? And not that good? On the one hand, too much Laurel (and too many "I love yous"), but not enough Laurel/Sara, if that makes sense. Still think they would have been better off having her engaged to Tommy (who was off-screen the entire time) and still explored her relationships with Sara and Oliver. And what about Thea? Did we even see those two talking in the alt. world? Poor Lance had one scene, in the dream world. I guess it was intentional to put him in rehab before the crossover so they wouldn't have to explain his absence? ETA: I'm glad they had Ray remember his fiancee should be Anna, not Felicity.

I'm very interested in seeing the screen time breakdowns for this episode. And for the Flash and LoT episodes in terms of characters who are in at least 2 of the 3.

Ugh, you're probably right. I'm prepared to roll my eyes so hard.

You know what I just thought of that made me really sad? What if in the dream world, Sara Diggle still exists? What if that's at the front of Diggle's mind now because he just found out Barry erased his daughter? (I just really miss Baby Sara.)

I was thinking the same thing. And what would they have done if there hadn't been a crossover or way to bring in aliens (or metahumans, as another possibility)? What if Oliver and Felicity were still engaged? Would they have had Oliver hit his head (really hard, I guess?) and imagine all this if they were so determined to have the L/O wedding in 100?

They'll probably say Caitlin's sitting out because she's worried about her powers. Never mind that she could help in other ways. Or she's babysitting HR to make sure he doesn't open up STAR Labs with that crazy tour idea while everyone's fighting aliens. Considering how fast they had Thea decide to suit up again (because aliens!), they'll probably have her decide that she doesn't want to be Speedy again, just in time for the LoT episode, maybe because they don't want her suiting up again on Arrow right now.

Yep. Makes me glad that we have those clips in the trailer of just Felicity and Cisco bursting in with the "tech support" line and also on the Waverider. Exactly. Never mind that we probably won't get a full explanation as to why Oliver changed when before he even got on the Gambit, he didn't want to move in with Laurel. And I'm just confused about the Oliver/Sara dynamic in this alt. world. Did they ever hook up? Are they going to completely retcon that because they realize that if they don't, having Oliver and Laurel getting married makes even less sense than it already does with what we knew about their relationship before the Gambit?

Especially if all of the moments we see the "depth of love" Oliver has for Laurel are all recycled Olicity moments.

Especially since it's not even like she was babbling or anything. He just interrupted her. And did I hear Felicity thanking Curtis in the background after? UGH. Please don't let this be what we see in the rest of the episode from the real world. Still don't like Rene at all. Still love Rory, but the poor thing gets like nothing to do. I wonder if they'll have Cisco touch something of Evelyn's and vibe her with Prometheus. That would probably be too easy.

Maybe until they realize this world isn't real, the aliens are controlling everything so they're picking quotes from the characters' past and fitting them into their story? But in doing so, they're going to trigger memories and lead to those in the dream world beginning to fight back? I have no idea. I'll stop trying to logic this.

I have to imagine it's intentional. Especially after the reporter using that line from their first date. Or they just honestly don't remember their own episodes, which would just be sad (but very possible). My guess? They probably just don't care.

So they're recycling an Olicity exchange for Oliver/Laurel. Seriously?! Maybe I should just prepare myself for Oliver to tell Laurel she's his "always" in this episode too.

You know what I can't wait to see? What MG says a year from now he wishes he had changed about S5. It'll probably depend on what's going on in S6 at the time, of course.

Me too. I wonder if the plan always was for Oliver and Laurel to have that messy past.

Twitter" unless he wants to get a reaction. Also, you know, they didn't plan on Felicity back then... It's not like that's a secret. MG talks about that all the time. (Can anyone read all of the writing?)

Well, 10 years would just make Laurel really pathetic if it took that long for Oliver to propose and them to get married. Also, I guess that way, they don't have to even think about the Undertaking happening or not. The shower scene will probably go exactly like that, and they probably want viewers to be surprised, but guess what? No one will be because of the episode description, the promos, the interviews, etc. And now I'm worried that the only way Tommy is in the episode (other than a mention here and there) is going to be with flashes of him dying. I still get upset seeing his death scene.

The problem is when MG or anyone with the show tweets things like this and then when it comes to winning something, they want the Olicity fans to rally and win it for them. And like I've said before, it's much easier to address critique by saying it's about a ship than to address it about other things. (I will admit that I hope a Felicity's 5B arc has already started in the filming/writing process after that tweet or I'm worried what that could change about their plans.)

Because aliens. Or maybe something to do with his brother? (It would make zero sense if he killed Andy in this dream world, but uh, you know, logic probably doesn't apply here.) I do wonder how he and Felicity met without Oliver...

Well, Laurel looks happy to have the ring. (Can't help but remember how Felicity said she didn't care about the bling and only cared about Oliver. That is something that Laurel would never say.) Oliver looks like he always does in their scenes. Nice to see that's not just true in photos from the 100th. Felicity's still working with the Green Arrow. LOVE that. Doubt they'll address whether or not Ray knows (not that it really matters since it's not real). Hope this means we'll get some good Diggle/Felicity stuff, but I'll be upset if the best we've gotten in a long time from their friendship is in a dream.

Did I miss Mick getting knocked out during that final fight or did he just disappear at one point? Because didn't Barry lure away Firestorm, Atom and Kara, while Oliver fought Thea, Diggle and Sara?

I wonder if that "all relationships" includes Walter, because sometimes I'm pretty sure that the show forgets he exists. (I miss Walter.)

Maybe someone should have told SA that Laurel was Oliver's "great love" before filming the 100th. He would've known what he was supposed to be doing. But then again, it might have made it worse. "Wait, she's my character's great love?!" Confusion, combined with his regular expression in those scenes.

Barry calling Oliver "Ollie" kind of bothers me because he's the only person who's met Oliver after the island who does, right? I don't particularly care one way or the other, but I feel like it just suddenly happened in last year's crossover and I was so confused, I thought I misheard him.
