Did I read somewhere that we were getting Tina's backstory or am I not remembering correctly? If it is WD's backstory, please be worth the time spent on it. Actually, that's true for whoever's it is.

I figured it out - Rory's magic rags, in addition to protecting everyone from bullets, braid Curtis' hair every time they go into the field.

Considering, according to what I remember of the photos, Laurel doesn't look particularly happy in any of the ones with Oliver, especially what we assume to be the farewell ones, I doubt he's going to be declaring any undying love. Also, he apparently never even gets dressed for the wedding, so...

Do they go looking for Tina in another city? Did I miss that news/spec? Because I'm going to be amused if they just give up on SCPD and take it upon themselves to recruit elsewhere. Although I don't think anyone in their right mind should ever choose to move to Star City/not move away... Honestly? I kind of hope that they have some twist with Malone planned for 509 because I think TR deserved more than they gave him.

Not be about him. But involve him in some way. I think my main concern right now - for everything coming up - is that there are too many characters around and they're going to have to figure out how to use everyone. (Which is why I was glad to hear Talia's in the flashbacks and it looks like Evelyn's gone soon.) Also, I will honestly be annoyed if they have him and Felicity in a relationship for more episodes than they had Oliver and Felicity together, even if it's in the same capacity we've seen them thus far in 5A.

Coming in 509 maybe? Or the fake police call to lure GA in and the conversation with Human Target Oliver off-screen? Or maybe that happened in the same universe that the show explored Havenrock for Felicity and she had that breakdown that was rumored for early in the season.

One of the things that makes me question him being around past 509 is Tina coming in in 511. Would they have 2 recurring detective characters? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see that happening. I also fear if he's around in 5B that Felicity's arc will somehow involve him because so far the EPs have just said it doesn't involve Oliver, right?

Considering I don't see how JJ and Sara could even have the same birthday as it was written on the show but MG said they do... (301, Sara is born, 507, it's JJ's birthday) I honestly think they thought people would be like, "cool, Flashpoint affected Arrow!" and that's it. Now they actually have to answer questions about it and they probably hadn't expected that.

If Malcolm is there, maybe he passes along a "sorry Tommy couldn't be here, he's X" message. Maybe Malcolm thinks that a rehearsal dinner/wedding is the perfect time to tell Thea he's her father? I'm assuming that in this dream world with Robert alive, she wouldn't know that yet?

That could be how they get Tommy into the 100th. But given what they did to his memory in 4x19, I'm not really holding my breath for any real Tommy/Laurel mention. At least nothing that won't have me going, "Well, Tommy deserved better." Or maybe it'll be something that has me saying, "Well, this is what Tommy deserved. Why couldn't they give it to him in the real world of Arrow? Preferably before he died?" Unless they are going to pretend he's there but always off-screen, like "your best man Tommy's looking for you" or "hey, as your best man, Tommy organized quite the crazy bachelor party."

My guess? It will probably depend on how much everyone says about the real world. I could see it being a rehash of that hospital scene. I'm bracing myself for the worst, basically.

True. 419 was proof they don't care about their between-seasons comics. Maybe he's somewhere with Tommy and Walter.

Anyone else wonder if they thought beyond getting Felicity in the dream world when they put her with Ray, since technically, his fiancee should be alive, right? Oliver didn't get on the Gambit = no island, no Slade, no Mirakuru soldiers, no Anna dying? Am I forgetting something?

And are they all from the same time? Are we going to have flashbacks from various points in S1? (If we're talking about S1 scenes I wish we had seen, OTA going out for drinks after the Dodger case has been on my wishlist since the moment it was mentioned in 403.)

That's what I was wondering. But why is it based around Oliver? Did someone tell the aliens, "hey, it's his show's 100th episode, so focus on him"? Looking forward to seeing Moira and Thea's scenes. Could do with less Laurel in the photos. And really, only one photo of Felicity? Not one photo of those not in the dream world? I knew that any hopes of a 3x07 fix were too good to be true. But I guess they put Felicity in the dress as one of the "hey, something's not right" clues for Oliver?

Maybe that's the real reason he spoke to the reporter. He knew that anyone else would be like, "Uh, Oliver, you've been given this pep talk X times already..."

I miss 4A Olicity too, but at the same time, I don't want them to rush their reunion and then stick their relationship in the background after spending time in 5A on their rebound relationships. Oh, and yeah, I'm going to need an "I'm sorry" from Oliver. I don't care if MG thinks he "apologized in his own way."

It's not just Tina that they're going to have to introduce in 5B, remember. We know Talia is coming in, and I wouldn't be surprised if we get at least one more "new recurring character" announcement. There's still the matter of the flashbacks (which do take up time in an episode, whether they're enjoyable or not). There's probably at least a couple of minutes to wrap up Diggle's military storyline and something for him to do in 5B (I hope). There's Felicity's arc. Maybe we'll be lucky and get something for Thea and Lance beyond what we've gotten so far. There's still going to be Prometheus out there. There are other threats to the city. There's Oliver as mayor (assuming they don't have him get kicked out of office by then so he can focus on being GA). Etc. And that's just what we can assume now. (I probably forgot about something we already know about too.)

Well, we might also have to take into consideration any time jumps between episodes. For all we know, they'll come back after some time has passed, ignore any issues and say conversations took place off-screen. They'll put Oliver and Felicity back together, and then have the time to focus on everything else going on in 5B: introducing new characters, setting up the finale, etc.

Maybe they'll have Oliver have a light bulb moment in 508 and then have Felicity have one in 509. So we'll know as an audience that they're headed back towards a reunion, but it might take them a few episodes on the show to get there.

I feel like no matter what's going on with Tina, Felicity's storyline might take her out of the lair. Could be why they've basically only shown her there (and a bit at the police station with Mayo) in 5A - a contrast to her leaving it in 5B.

Yep. I think the only way we'd get that is if that's Felicity's storyline for 5B (and if it is, oh god, it better not be). I do think we might get Felicity saying she realized it wasn't real between them if that's how it goes down. Or, if they do have Felicity kidnapped, they'll figure enough time has passed between his death and her rescue that they won't really have to address it.
