  1. Yeah, that apology is never going to happen. Oliver can apologize to everyone else (Evelyn, Kara - I'm really happy he apologized to Kara, but not Evelyn, given what we now know), but we're never going to see him apologize to Felicity for last year. It's why I'm iffy about wanting William back even though there is more story to tell there. If they do it justice, great, bring him back (but not full-time). If they can't do that, let him and his mother be happy wherever they are. (Also, if Prometheus knows about them, great, another person who knows yet Felicity couldn't last year.)
  2. My problem with a possible William return is that I doubt the writers would do any better a job with that story than they did the BMD in S4. Also, either they'd spend too much time on it or too little. (Like last year. We got one scene of Oliver with William and then the next time the kid was seen, he had stupidly thought he was just playing with his mother's friend when he was kidnapped and we were supposed to care so much about him because he was a kid, I guess?)
  3. If it's William, is it really a smart idea to have him around with Prometheus in Star City? Especially since we've seen that the security for the mayor will just tell anyone (like a reporter) Oliver's whereabouts? So either William has to be with Oliver at all times or have his own security. Otherwise, Oliver's basically just wrapping up someone with a bow for Prometheus to use to hurt him.
  4. I cannot tell at all who's on the photo, even in the zoomed one. For all we know, it's someone's kid they just don't want shown in a picture.
  5. I just watched SA's live FB video, and he mentioned not to miss the last scene of 5x09. With all this hyping it up, it better not be BC or BS related, as possibly speculated, because that would be a complete letdown. ETA: Maybe Prometheus is chilling out in the bunker? I don't know. They're going to have to do something big after kicking Oliver off a cliff for S3's midseason finale and shooting Felicity for S4's.
  6. Maybe she was going to pass out from how ridiculous that lie was? Yeah, I got nothing. Sure, MG, the timing of this isn't suspicious whatsoever.
  7. Maybe that's coming up in 5B? Aren't we supposed to be getting some of his backstory? If that is true, I think they would have been better off not writing him this way in 5A because by the time they do get around to writing him as a character people might like, it may be too late.
  8. I think that's also because while Mick calls Ray "Haircut," we've seen that relationship develop and evolve. We haven't gotten that for Felicity and WD and it doesn't seem like we're going to. They're focusing on WD with Dig as a mentor and we know we have stuff coming up between WD and Lance. We haven't gotten any indication that WD sees Felicity as anything but "Blondie" which bothers me every time it comes out of his mouth.
  9. I'm honestly hoping that this is because of whatever has yet to come for Felicity, and they're hoping that by having her like this in 5A/crossover, they feel they can do whatever they want with her in 5B without criticism. (I'm not holding my breath.) I was pleasantly surprised that they took the time to have Felicity talk to Cisco about Barry on the Waverider, but mostly only because I didn't expect them to fix the Barry/Cisco friendship on Legends of Tomorrow instead of The Flash because that's assuming people will watch all parts of the crossover. Those who didn't will probably be surprised they're friends again in The Flash's midseason finale. Agree, with all of this. A Felicity/Kara/Barry scene would have been so good. Also wish that Winn could have come along for Felicity/Cisco/Winn and Alex for Alex/everyone. It's like they're trying too hard not to have Oliver and Felicity and even Felicity and Diggle interact at this point. Oliver and Diggle returned from being abducted by aliens, and there wasn't even a "hello" for them? A "thank God you're okay" moment? Even a "what was the ship like?" if they didn't want it to be emotional whatsoever? It also bugged me that the only moment we got between Felicity and Sara was that side-hug as they walked off in The Flash's episode. And that we didn't even see a moment of Sara realizing/finding out that Diggle named his daughter after her. (Maybe Barry never knew that they named her after her? Would be a way to avoid that. But I'd been waiting for that since they brought Sara back to life and nothing.)
  10. I loved Felicity and Cisco together. Really want more scenes with them in the future. Oliver leaving Kara behind was just as stupid as everyone agreeing to leave Barry and Oliver behind on The Flash. There were aliens attacking Earth. Deal with personal feelings on your own time! As soon as that happened, I knew he was going to be apologizing to her by episode's end after she saved his life mid-battle. The Felicity/Ray cousin moment was just awkward. Did remind me of Oliver's comment about the two of them being related though. ETA: I also get the whole Superman reference. But I do have to wonder - is Ray just going to keep mentioning a new family member every season? Didn't we get something about his brother in LoT S1?
  11. Yeah, but so far they haven't shown those rags to have any weaknesses. That means that there's really no reason for him to get rid of them, so if they ever decide to eliminate magic completely from the show (and therefore his rags), I fear that Rory will be leaving too. And I don't want Rory to leave.
  12. TA guest starred on Timeless a few weeks ago (which was a surprise because I don't think there was any casting announcement for it), but I don't think I've heard of anything else coming up for him, making me hope that we could see Noah again. There is so much they could write for Felicity and her father.
  13. It really is. And it makes me think that if Donna comes back, it'll be all about Lance's storyline, not even Felicity's. After all, we haven't even heard her mentioned in relation to her own daughter, just the line about the break-up, and she left town with Lance at the end of S4, even after everything her daughter had been through. Yes, Lance needed someone, but I feel like Felicity did too last year. And sure, she has Mayo, but I feel like at the end of the day, the focus of however that ends probably won't be about her. If he's good and gets killed, it's because he was helping the team/part of the ACU/maybe her boyfriend. (They'll probably have her say it wasn't real so she can just move on without them having to show her grieving.) If he's evil and working for Prometheus, it probably still won't be about her, other than another man in her life who lied to her (and maybe they'll try to use it like, "Well, see, Oliver lying about his son isn't so bad!") Hey, maybe they'll just repeat the Ray breakup and have him tell her that she loves Oliver because they love repeating storylines and then he'll leave town. (In which case, poor Tyler Ritter. He would have deserved so much better.) I'd love for them to prove me wrong and for Felicity's 5B arc to be something spectacular. Arrow writers, I'm challenging you to do that.
  14. Very true. But then again, considering how they wrote Felicity in 508, with Curtis and Rory explaining things she should have, they may have had her be the last one to realize something was off. (Sorry, bitter.)
  15. Oliver and Barry at a bar - is that from the LoT episode of the crossover or 510? Didn't someone say Barry's in 510 (related to the Black Siren appearance), or am I remembering incorrectly?
  16. Maybe they thought this was better (it's not) - "Look! It came out of nowhere! Surprise mole!"- and considering their thoughts on the new season in general, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm worried that removing Evelyn from the picture is just going to lead to more of WD instead of Rory, like it should. (But then again, maybe they'd mess up Rory too if they did too much with him, kind of like how I liked Curtis last season and not as much this season.)
  17. I'm just hoping we get a lot of confusion over Evelyn's betrayal and when it happened because it makes absolutely zero sense. And it's never a good sign if, as an EP, you have to reveal something like that in an interview because what was shown on-screen doesn't make it clear. (Much like having to explain episodes in tweets.) Also, I kind of expect Prometheus to kill Evelyn because she's no use to him anymore after she tells him what she knows and the team finds out she's on his side. And if I'm right, the only times we see Thea and Felicity in the promo are the photos on Prometheus' board, right? We have photos of Felicity with Oliver and Diggle, but nothing of Thea, right?
  18. Oh, of course! We'll just need someone else to pick up the social media game then.
  19. You know, I've realized that as much as I may not like Curtis like I did last season, I do love EK on social media and maybe for that alone, I want him to hang around as long as possible.
  20. Or just had Arrow take a week off if they needed the crossover to happen at this point in the seasons of the other shows. I think 507 going into 509 probably would have flowed better too, considering nothing that happened in 507 actually played a part in 508.
  21. Oh, I agree Mick would have had no reason to be there, but I was just remarking on the non-metas who weren't taken. He was also the only one who it actually made sense to not show in Arrow being worried about his missing teammates.
  22. This made me think - were Felicity and Mick the only other non-metas outside while everyone was being kidnapped? I can't help but wonder what the shared hallucination would have been like with those two taken too. Also, I feel like Felicity would have had more to do had she been taken as well.
  23. Thinking about it, kidnapping Diggle might be the smartest move Prometheus can make because they can't bring the police in on it (or even at least the ACU, since the police probably can't be trusted) or anyone outside their circle (including ARGUS) since Dig is a fugitive right now. What would they say - "Hey, so our friend we broke out of prison got kidnapped. We need to use some help getting him back but then please don't turn him in"? The same is true if Prometheus hurts him - if it's bad enough, they can't bring him to a hospital and will have to rely on whatever they have at hand in the bunker.
  24. Worst case scenario? Felicity's kidnapped while Oliver's off with Susan. Maybe that last scene with him is him returning to the bunker after being out with Susan and finding some message left for him by Prometheus (because Evelyn told him where the bunker is) that he has Felicity? Whatever happens, I really don't want to see Oliver or Felicity mourning for either temporary LI.
  25. I'm sorry, what was that promo? No, seriously. We're supposed to think that reporter could be someone Oliver loves? What was in those drinks? Well, if it gets Prometheus to kill her... Maybe he's going off Evelyn's intel, so he thinks reporter and Mayo actually matter to Oliver and Felicity? That's the purpose they serve: people to kill that don't actually matter? (And is Oliver once again going to take time off while someone's terrorizing the city to spend time with reporter?) Did I see a shot of Prometheus behind Mayo in that promo too?
