  1. Monday: just in the middle of watching... had to come here and post, "I LOVE Ken's tie!" Yes, I am that shallow.
  2. The week started with a bad word #$%&# (missed Mon FJ) and then turned around and ended with 4/5 plus an *. So, I'm bringing turnovers. ;-)
  3. 2/5 and one * (Cambodia and IWTL) Pickins are slim this week... need to go shopping! After a $1,000 vet bill, I'll be checking the specials. How about a platter of veggies with hummus?
  4. LOL... of course it had a flip side! I left out a key word: favourite. My point was that I often had a 45 whose flip side turned out to be better than the main side. I'm probably not making my point very well.
  5. You are so good to post links! Personally, I had many 45's... and for some of them, the flip side became my favourite song. I don't remember ever having an LP that had a flip side.
  6. We're back! Yay! Wow, did I ever get a lot of stuff done during our Primetimer's vacay. 2/5 and no * Since I've perfected the recipe, I'm bringing chocolate mousse cheesecakes.
  7. 3/5 = LL Bean, War and Peace, Lady Gaga - the first two were guesses, but I knew Lady Gaga. Yay! I finally got a Friday FJ! A storm blocked taping of Wednesday's show, but I wouldn't have got Scarface. Bringing helium balloons so we can all inhale and have funny voices.
  8. 3/5 and one * Anybody like broccoli salad?
  9. Oh thank goodness... I thought I was the only one who makes that cat-smells-yogurt face at the thought of eating one. Right up there with the woman trying to swallow an oyster video that's circulating on that evil FBook. So sad. Have to pass on the rum. It's the only alcohol I'm allergic to. Makes me fall asleep immediately. Head in the dinner plate type of sleep. Hey - maybe I should try a shot at bedtime... I wonder if that would cure my 3 a.m. wakeup madness.
  10. One of my better weeks: 4/5 Technically, it was 4/4 as we didn't get Tuesday's show (storm affected the satellite)... however, I don't think I would have got the answer. I'll never know! What I do know is that Monday was a fluke, and I "frosted" my gut guesses. LOL to @ProudMary's autocorrect. Bringing frosted banana pudding (frosted - topped with real whipped cream).
  11. Weird. This afternoon, I was telling a friend about a flight I took from Toronto to Boston, and how I then traveled to Providence for a skating show (Stars on Ice?)... and maybe that combined with my JetPunk quizzes had me answering FJ correctly.
  12. 3/5 and one * Super busy weekend here, and all I have to offer is leftover birthday cake.
  13. 3 1/2 (Jumbo, Bull, Cleopatra, Pele) Yes, I know my 1/2 won't count. Hope everyone likes individual cheesecakes, topped with real whipped cream. I'll take the calories out before serving. ;-)
  14. 3/5 for this week. To celebrate such an awesome accomplishment (LOL), I made a Christmas tiramisu. Raspberries, mascarpone, whipped cream and I use homemade shortbread for the base. It is totally decadent and delicious! p.s. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all xo
  15. Agreed. I read today that her salary with Sony was 4 million. That works out to be about $100,000 per giggle. (Rough math)
  16. So extremely sorry to hear about Saber. We had a few private conversations over the years as we had so many common interests (mainly dogs), and I was wondering why she hadn't responded. RIP, Saber.
  17. 2/5 Bah humbug. Don't mind me... I'll get over it. Bringing shortbread to the party since I just figured out why it's so popular this time of year - we're all short of 'bread' (money). 🙃
  18. 😂 - those are tears of joy (re the news about Ken being the only host of J!)
  19. M/W/F - 3/5 I just made a fresh batch of nuts 'n bolts and will bring enough for everyone!
  20. Week of Dec. 4th: 1/1 (just posting 'cause I love getting 100%... even if it is fleeting and may only last one day!)
  21. 2/5 and one * It's been a super busy weekend, and I haven't even caught up on threads here... so I'll be bringing boring but yummy shortbread. @ClanstarlingHappy Belated Birthday!
  22. Just saw in the news this morning that the champ (Nick) used to be an actor... he was in Titanic and several other movies/shows. "Cascone, who could be described as a character actor, went on to appear in such films as Titanic, Nightwatch, Mr. Baseball, The Cell and Dragonfly, along with shows like Moonlighting, Star Trek: The Next Generation, L.A. Law, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, ER, The West Wing, Judging Amy, Charmed and Without a Trace."
  23. Love this :-) I saw a FB post the other day which went something like: Q "What has 15 actors, four settings, two writers, and one plot?" A "633 Hallmark movies." ... and I continue to watch them (sort of watch, for most), and look forward to the odd one... sometimes a repeat.
