Happy for Amy; however, I was hoping the 6th would be my new love, Sam, or Brad as I'm a Team Brad fan from waaaay back.

My personal tournament summary: I love Sam. He was my highlight. I totally enjoy him whenever he's on my tv and he's now on my list of "the 10 people I'd like to have lunch with someday..." One at a time, svp. Last night was the first time I noticed the depth of Ken's humbleness - when he noted he'd learned something new. My words, not his. For a nanosecond, I felt smarter than Victoria (before Ken had finished reading the clue, I was asking, "What is to thine own self be true?") It didn't take long for V to wash my smug off. She's a force. I was rooting for Sam, Amy, didn't really care who won, and give a billion kudos to Victoria for her buzzer prowess and gutsy wagers. Now for her to give the other masters a run to remember... I look forward to seeing one newbee eat her dust (in my dreams).

2/5, both gut responses. I'm bringing a big bunch of seedless green grapes. I swear, they look like they've been botoxed. They're gigantic!

Thanks to Clanstarling allowing Scarface, I had a better week... 3/5 and one * Thanks also to my latin teacher and Jetpunk. Oh, and thanks to the Easter Bunny for their treats yesterday. For anyone with small grandchildren, here's a riddle: What do you get when you throw a firecracker down a rabbit hole? A hot cross bunny!

Liked Ben a lot, yet found him difficult to understand at times... I blame my aging ears. Was hoping Troy would win (and not just game 6). Sometimes, it seems like there's no 'real' justice.

I enjoy witnessing the contestants supporting each other in any way... and I am a hug promoter. We should get 7 per day for optimum health, and they should be genuine... i.e., don't feel forced to hug someone with whom you feel (what I call) negative energy. You'll know it when you feel it. Hugs are so amazing - very healing - and they're free!

The week started poorly for me... I had visions of many donuts... and then my trips to Europe paid off - Eurostar! Jetpunk helped with Suriname. Final score: 2/5 * Bringing freshly tapped maple syrup to drizzle over donuts, pretzels, whatever.

That was funny, too... however, the giggle I had was from Ken reading a clue and chuckling at the very end (as if he just couldn't contain his laughter any longer) and I can't remember the circumstances (the clue). For me, it was the first time Ken sort of lost it during clue-reading. He's been fairly impeccable to date. And yes, so sad that Juveria didn't make it. Congrats to Luigi for the win and the impressive thank you speech during his interview. And... yay to the ending hugs!

Ken had a chuckle tonight that made me laugh; unfortunately, I can't remember the circumstances. My excuse is sleep deprivation... heading to correct that now. The real reason for forgetfulness is probably that I'm embracing aging and don't stress about stuff like I used to. You should try it. It's marvelous! (My inner hippie says, "peace!") p.s. FJ was easy peasy for me, having been a passenger (a few times) while visiting Europe.

2/5 * for cough and a lucky guess. Having been there helped. If the TOC is any indication, I'll be at the zero table next week. Didn't have a sniff for Friday's FJ.

The highlight of tonight's show for me was Jesse "doing" Owen Wilson.

Monday: just in the middle of watching... had to come here and post, "I LOVE Ken's tie!" Yes, I am that shallow.

The week started with a bad word #$%&# (missed Mon FJ) and then turned around and ended with 4/5 plus an *. So, I'm bringing turnovers. ;-)

2/5 and one * (Cambodia and IWTL) Pickins are slim this week... need to go shopping! After a $1,000 vet bill, I'll be checking the specials. How about a platter of veggies with hummus?
