Looks like Christina's kicks have improved but not her splits. Wonder how that's going in camp since she's still there! At least based on what we've been able to detective out so far. They must be adding a lot more stuff if they are making the prelims and semis an episode each on their own. My cable is marking the ep as new but giving a season 6 description which is a bit amusing. hopefully this means we'll get a bit more insight on what goes on between the last game of the previous season and the auditions. Or maybe the 1st hour will be 15 mins of prelims and 45 mins on the new Star! ?

True that looked like an exceptionally hard fall in the trailer for the season. Much harder in my opinion than when Sheridan slipped.

Is that Brennan next to her? If so it makes sense she wouldn't lose it since she went through the same thing with Sheridan last year ?

This was a great episode and I'm loving season two so far. Just wish Ozzie wasn't about to sell Walsh out. For a reptilian he's kinda cool. ? Yvonne pepper spraying Gerry cracked me up more than it should have. Call me crazy but I think Eric the box has an agenda in regards to Jeff the Grey. ?

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing them in afterglow in an episode past and I'm inclined to agree with you. So is Dario gone now? I skimmed yesterday's ep so I'm not clear on it but saw him at the beginning and not at the end. If so that's the quickest announcement to last day I've seen on this show in awhile.

I'm also glad it seems like this Gabi/Chad/Abby triangle will end without desperation and scheming. I would love a JJ/Gabi do-over too since I missed them the first time around and they had chemistry together at the Martin House party thing. I don't have faith that will happen though. At least not based on what I've seen so far.

I thought Sgt Tapler was pretty good as the in studio guest this weekend. He seemed relaxed and had some good commentary. Hope they have him come back.

Usually when a rockstar rookie gets cut the next year it's interview, weight gain or they screw up the combo. As @MrsEVH we have to wait for the show but my guess is interview. I think I've seen pics of her since and didn't see a weight issue and with the way she was picking up choreo in her rookie season

I'm sure it is but it's so odd that they are premiering the season on the same night DCC vets will be dancing at the Hall of Fame game. I know the audiences are probably different but it just is bizarre to me.

Not to my knowledge. Even though that is the latest fad for some shows I don't think a show like this benefits from doing it either. I'd be very surprised if they took that step.

Agreed, even without the later stroke (so glad to hear she is doing so well!) she had a major injury requiring surgery from a move she didn't even do incorrectly. That shouldn't have made the list at all much less been the top of the heap.

Thanks @ihavenoidea. I totally read that scene wrong then. But I also tend to read twitter before I watch and I think someone was saying Gabi and I just had it in my head before I watched. I did find it a bit odd when I read it the first time too because why the hell was Gabi even brought into that discussion except as the reason Chad knew about this whole thing. Your way makes a lot more sense. lol

Anybody else find the "take Gabi with you have to" comment from Chad to Daario a little gratuitous or was it just me? We all know where this is all going do you have to kick Gabi while she's down? I half expected her to be listening around the corner just to twist the knife. Of course I could just be annoyed because I'm a Gabi fan, LOL

I think any cuts this week will happen tonight or tomorrow if they're practicing tomorrow. Especially after a break I feel like they'd give them a little time to get back into it. I know Shelly said there were still rehearsals going on but I still feel like after some were on break there might be a grace period there. But what do I know I'm no where near Texas. LOL

Absolutely agree. Didn't I read that they went this way for budget reasons or something? That doesn't make sense to me. GH has a huge cast and only films 3 weeks out and still apparently comes in under budget otherwise it wouldn't still be on the air given it's ratings. It would really be better for them to let the show catch up a bit to the taping and just shutter for a few weeks every few months. Then they could change narrative for stories that aren't hitting before they've bludgeoned the audience with crap they don't want to see. You know assuming they care what the audience thinks that is. LOL

I agree with all of this. I feel for Jordi and hope he lands on his feet quickly. If only they'd brought him on to play Rafe! I really hope Ron does bring back the love scenes now that Dena's writing is on it's way out (didn't I read that he's just tweaking her original at the moment and his actual writing won't start until later?). Bring back actual Love in the Afternoon already!

Thanks so much! I appreciate knowing some of the history behind Gabi. I never figured Chad would dump her over JJ but because of Abby and I figured she would be upset but not too upset because of her feelings for JJ. I just don't see that happening so far under Ron. It is still early days though. I hope Gabi does end up bowing out gracefully and I agree that Chad does end up looking bad because as you said this is the same as Higley with the ladies positions reversed.

So can someone help me out as a newish viewer? Has Gabi always had problems with her insecurity and being a shrew? Now I haven't seen today's show but what I'm reading on twitter and other places online is making me very disappointed in how they're writing the end of Gabi/Chad. Before Carlivati showed up I appreciated the scenes at the party and how it looked like they might be writing the ending of the relationship as Gabi not being desperate when Chad dumps her because of her lingering feelings for JJ. Based on what I'm reading from today's show that appears to have changed. So is this status quo for Gabi or does this indicate that Carlivati might be writing Gabi with a different personality than she's had in the past?
