  1. This was a great episode for me to watch because my friend from high school was one of the contestants. Kevin O'Leary is seriously THE WORST. I thought he was going to f*ck the win up for my girl Assata, so I'm glad she eventually won. I try to give Rosie a break because she acts on this show, exactly how I would act on this show, but still...calm down lady. Rocco DiSpirito pimping his book was so annoying. Exercise while you cook? Dude, STFU.
  2. BRILLIANT! Oh if only we lived in this world!
  3. That Keren woman is THE. WORST. Her behavior with Enys, and especially her bitchiness towards Demelza made me so angry. Girl, bye. I need Keren to have her comeuppance without Enys, Marc, or Ross & Demelza getting hurt in any way. I find the character of George Warleggan to be so fascinating. There's something deep there that I hope gets tapped in later episodes.
  4. I'm not Canadian, but I did grow up in Baltimore and Pittsburgh and have family that have strong accents that they don't think they have. And obviously they exaggerated things for the bit, but I found the whole segment hilarious. I rewatched it twice last night because I giggling too hard the first time to catch every thing. I too have never seen a tv ad for AshleyMadison.com, so I don't really know what they're like, but I love the comedy responses to them. Me too. I love Jason Jones to pieces.
  5. Thank you Monty for this trip down memory lane. It's been a hoot following along with you!
  6. I already love James Corden to distraction, and watching this last night cemented that love, FOR LIFE.
  7. I was curious about this HBO doc. Sounds like it's a good choice for "having on while I wash dishes and make dinner".
  8. [shallow] The clothes are EVERYTHING in this trailer! [/shallow]
  9. I wanted to PUNCH so many people in this episode. I missed Jude. But on the bright side, communications problems aside, Stef and Lena continue to have the best f*cking marriage on television. I love them as a couple.
  10. Absolutely. Especially Taylor Kitsch in that scene with his demented mother.
  11. This was SO lame. And I think at least Burim would have been up to the challenge. Anyway... As usual my boyfriend Christopher Scott's routines were the best of the night for me. And although I was underwhelmed by his choreography this week, I was so damn excited to see Brian Friedman back on this show that I did a little jig in my living room. Damn it, I wish they'd have him be a judge again. He was the bitchy-straight talkingiest-constructive feedbacker-best!
  12. Sorry Tara, "Don't Forget Me" is one of my very favorite songs from the show!
  13. That wedding gown is one of my favorite Diana Prince outfits. I so loved when this show moved to "present day". Diana dressed exactly like my own mom - awesome culottes and boots; THOSE GLASSES. Everything was on point. I loved the D.C. apartment that she lived in that was supposed to be in Georgetown. I'll definitely be rewatching a few of these episodes along with you Monty. And thank you so much for that Wonder Woman Wetsuit gif!
  14. I actually find Carter to be one of the most self-centered characters on this show. She's sort of entitled to be self-centered, considering what's happened to her, but her actions are bordering on ridiculous. Justifying to Crash that she slept with Max because Lori tried to kill herself? Ugh. STFU, Carter. Become? Carter's just about there for me. Again, I get it, she's had to deal with such shitty issues, all of which were the result of the parent figures in her life, and none of which Carter had any control per se, but I'm getting tired of the people around her that she hurts being made to feel guilty for being angry at her for the stupid mistakes she keeps making. I so thought this was where they were going to, not that Crash would have done it, and I was very happy that they didn't. Huh? I thought he was 18 or 19? And I don't remember him going to highschool classes with the gang. It was established when they first introduced Max, maybe even as far back as ep 1 when they get caught at the carousel that started this whole mishegas, that he was just done with highschool. So that would make him 19ish?
  15. I also feel like this dumb show is trying to reboot itself...and they're doing a shit job of it. And yet, I'm just as addicted to watching it as I was during ep 1. I was especially sad about Kyle because I really enjoyed the father/son bonding moment between him and Gabe. The Chinese food, Gabe's concern about leaving for college, the Tinder profile - I loved all of it. I also found the restaurant name "The Italian Oven" to be hilarious. Is this a real place? I hope so because the thought of production creating a huge fake neon sign makes me giggle.
  16. For the past 3 or 4 seasons I have routinely fast-forwarded through every intro, producer packaged tear jerker, child, dad-dancer, and bullshit "triumph over adversity" story that they fill these auditions episodes with. I only watch from when Nigel says "Cue Music", until they give the person their ticket or send them on their way. This show really doesn't start for me until we get to the Vegas/LA semi finals. And speaking of Nigel... I actually like this tradition and find it almost comforting? I would miss it if Nigel stopped.
  17. Marianna asking Wyatt about his hair care regime was the best. Hee! But ugh, I really wish they hadn't gone with the drunken first-time sex route for her. I mean it's realistic (sort of) but it made me sad. And I'm bummed about what this will do to Marianna and Callie's relationship as sisters. Why won't this effin' show ever give Callie a break?! They're relentless in screwing up her life. Now she's not going to graduate and that will delay her adoption? F. U. show!
  18. Thank you! The whole time he was making his threats I was like, dude? There are at least 2 people in this house that could annihilate you. Shut up and go home. But Josh Hartnett really did some wonderful work in this scene. Inspector Rusk's hunches etc seem a little far-fetched. Why did he specifically bring up wolves with Ethan? I mean, why the hell would he guess that particular animal? I know he's just doing his job, and doing it well, but I still just want someone to gut puch him with his own fake arm. God, I love Sembene so much, and desperately need an entire bottle episode dedicated to him. I too am getting a little weary and a tad bit confused regarding Evelyn, Hecate etc.’s endgame with Vanessa. It seems like they want to do more with/to her than just “give her to the Master”. But I kind of don’t get what they’re trying to accomplish? It also continues to bug me that Evelyn and her daughters have been pretty consistently successful in their machinations. I want these witches to get their comeuppance and get smacked down! I’m so over Evelyn. I really need something bad to happen to her. islandgal140 – I was also wondering the same thing about the fetish doll parts – are they still using the same baby? **shudder** For real though. And seriously, can they please incorporate Reeve Carney's beautiful singing voice into a storyline? Is that too much to ask? :-)
  19. Oh man, I absolutely LOVED all of the gifs that you created for this post. I was laughing so loud at work that it brought a co-worker to my office door to inquire what the hell was so funny. She didn't get it. ANYWAY, I can't say enough how much I'm enjoying these rewatch recaps, especially the Pedant's guide. I loved all of the songs from Hit List right from the beginning. But since the show ended they've become some of my very favorite music to listen to whenever I need a mood lifting. "Broadway Here I Come", "I Heard Your Voice In A Dream", "Don't Let Me Know" - all great! As I said before in an earlier post, I am in the minority of people who actually liked the second season of this show better than the first.
  20. Jesse Carere plays Adam, the computer genius? I'M IN! If he can work wonders with the crap dialogue that the "Finding Carter" writers give him, he should be able to handle this thing.
  21. I loved this episode so damn much. I was humming Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town" while watching.
  22. I had misremembered that the "Bushwackers" episode took place in the 1970s not the 1940s era of this show. Must be the little black orphan kid's AFRO that was throwing me off. That "beef commitments" line never fails to bring me to tears of laughter though.
  23. I like the addition of Damon actually; that actor does really well with the crap lines that the writers give him. But if having Damon means sacrificing Ofe (my 3rd favorite character on this shitshow), I will be pissed! Over the last few episodes Carter has gone back to being very punchable. My desire to see Taylor gut-punch her is less than it was at the beginning of the first season, but it's creeping up there. This episode wasn't nearly interesting enough for so little to have happened. Sigh...and yet, I can't stop watching it.
  24. I couldn't click the "purchase" button fast enough on my Kindle to get this gem!
