True! And what about preparing your witnesses by sitting down with them and going over what they may be asked?
-
Watched the third episode last night, and yes, I found the defense examination of Ellie ridiculous. The lack of objections, calls for relevance, and the seemingly cavalier responses from the judge just seem ludicrous. Question - how did Tom suddenly age four years? What's up with that? Weren't he and Danny best friends and approximately the same age? I think Joe did all the creepy stuff with Danny, but he believes Tom killed Danny. So, he confessed to the truth about their relationship and then tossed in the murder. Interesting about the older girl never being found. And, yeah, Claire is in this up to her eyeballs.

Season 5 Reunion Spoilers, Previews, Gossip, Etc.
Pattycake2 replied to quinn's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Wait.. Brandi says.Lisar had had the same hair style for 20 years? And she's sitting next to Kim? Kim, who with the exception of bangs, has had the same hair style since she sprouted hair? -
The question of ages is an interesting one. Yes, if a 42 year man has a one night stand with a woman 20 years his junior, it may be accepted. However, if this man then goes on camera, brags, and praises her gorgeous twat, he's definitely an asshole.

S05.E18: Confessions Of A Housewife
Pattycake2 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I couldn't help thinking that the Dutch Boy's mother must have been so proud to hear that her son had a big cock on national television. And no, Brandi, Lisar didn't throw a glass at Kim, she broke it on a table. And regarding the "throttling", Lisar used only her non-dominant left hand when touching Kim. If I wanted to throttle Kim, I'd use both hands. Iit looks to me like she was actually trying to physically close Kim's mouth. Still not good, but not throttling. -
I hate the neck fur, too. Makes me think it continues all over his body. Shudder. And unless it continues to grow throughout the show, it means he actually trims it to that length.

First Looks: Upcoming Episodes Season 5
Pattycake2 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
That's Brilliant! Gee, Brandi receives a blow to her ego. Brandi has inappropriate sex to make herself feel better. What a surprise! She's showing those old harpies, isn't she? UGH! Get some therapy. -
I watched that Hell's Kitchen episode with Dean and the blonde woman. They didn't show any pda, but I did see Dean drinking a glass of white wine and in another shot, he had a glass of champagne. Not good.

Jumping in with my impressions. Yes, the throwing out of the confession was bogus. There was no explantion, no rebuttal, no back and forth discussion. Must have been mind rays between the proscutor, defending attorney, and the judge since it seemed fully understandable to them. Seems to me the prosecutor is suffering from macular degeneration or something similar. She asked someone to read to her and she didn't comment when Ellie went on about the view from her windows. I also think that Claire and Lee were both involved with the murders. Claire goes on about her icky attraction to Lee. Maybe the murders had something to do with a kinky, sex kind of thing. And yes, Beth can shut up. Her anger towards Ellie makes no sense. Quick question. Has anyone seen the season two verson from the UK and the BBCAmerica one? Are we missing things?

S05.E17: Amster-Damn Slap
Pattycake2 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Kyle and Eileen should have gone to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It's freaking incredible. I always get the audio. You learn so much. For example, you know those numerous painting of flower bouquets? Every flower and insect has a meaning. Besides museum gift shops are awesome! Culture and shopping. Woot! I was also glad to see that after Kyle decided to have only coffee in the sweet shop, later you could see two pieces of candy on the table in one of the shots. You just gotta live sometimes. -
S05.E17: Amster-Damn Slap

Loved Eileen's direct and calm discussion of the situation last night. She believed the whole group was involved and she approached it in front of the whole group. Loved LisaV's handling of the Brandi ambush. She was calm, firm, trying to get past Brandi, and didn't lose it when Brandi slapped her. She even commented the next day that she wasn't going to make it a big deal even though Brandi clearly crossed the line. Does anyone else think Brandi was treatng Lisa as a lover? I can easily see this kind of "play" between Brandi and whomever she's trying to trap into more than a one night stand. Kyle has lost a lot of weight and is dressing beautifully. I'm totally enjoying this season. Weeks of fabulousness followed by drama and Kim and Brandi being exposed for who they are. Love it. -
Ah, yes. Brandi whispering into Kim's ear. "She's a bad sister. She's a bad sister." Kim could have stopped all the talk right after poker night with a quick apology and a friendly and genial "I'm all right. Boy, did I do something stupid, but I'm fine now. Thanks for caring." Quick hug. Drama over.

Kim - deflecting and extrapolating to justify her behavior. My kids! No, just no. Anyone notice that although Brandi was rolling her eyes in the pot shop, she didn't explode until LisaV scolded her. Then everyone was a hypocrite. Just like a child she can't take any correction. I almost expected her to stomp her feet and wave her arms in the air. She can be cruel to the other children, too. Except they aren't children and actions have consequences. I would like to see scenes of Brandi with her children. What makes her such a great mother other than having them play with non-housebroken pets, letting them watch movies and eat popcorn, and allowing them to sleep in her bed? Parents teach their children by example and her oldest should have no problem getting his hands on her books. There are no good examples there. Kim and Brandi should always keep tubes of neosporin on themselves. Injuries are inevitable. I went on a cycling trip in Holland a few years back. It was wonderful. Beautiful countryside, fields of heather, and mirrors placed so high in the bathrooms for the tall Dutch that I couldn't see in them. The houses are gorge, too. I saw no McMansions, but small, wooden houses with large windows back and front and lace curtains at them all. Lovely.

It's clear to me from reading her first book that JR was not a boyfriend as most people understand the word. She pursues and she's a good lay. Guys have a hard time resisting someone so easy so they keep coming back to dip into the well. Fast forward to her new guy. She's gushing and they haven't gone out yet. Puh-leeze.

I'm enjoying this season. The first half was all about their fabulous lives. During the second half, we get to watch Brandi behaving very, very badly and everyone seeing it. No one stepping up to protect Brandi. They have her number and I love that. It is sad to see Kim's actions. However, this finished filming months ago and she's still around. Even did a tv show cameo. So, she's toddling along as usual.

It's been bugging me and bugging me all season who Helen reminded of. If any of you are old enough to remember (I was a mere tot), it's Oona Goosepimple from the Nancy & Sluggo comic books.

So glad Dmitry won! Several of his pieces were absolutely gorge! They screamed sophisticated and expensive. Several of Sonjia's pieces were very nice. Helen can now back to living under the earth.

Yep, and now all the viewers are wondering if Yo's daughter is an alcoholic. Thanks, Brandi! Last summer I read Brandi's first book and I finally reached the point where she totally nauseated me. It may not be the same for everyone, but this was my tipping point. She talks about this creepyguy - The Unicorn - always looking for the perfect girl. He made it perfectly clear that it wasn't Brandi, but she pursued him, called him weekly, threw herself at him whenver the opportunity presented itself. Then came Christmas eve. She had a lovely dinner with the Fosters. Then, because she was so lonely cuz her boys were spending Christmas with Eddie, she met The Unicorn at the Polo Lounge. She got drunk, gave him a handjob under the table (at the Polo Lounge for christ sake), took a taxi back to his place and woke up the next morning with her pants off. He had already called a cab which she had to pay for. She had blackout sex. And she still pursued him. And he still treated her like crap. And it was all HIS fault. The whole thing turned my stomach. Christmas and blackout sex. Something to be proud of. So, believing she is Kim's only friend and everyone else is an asshole is nothing in her self-delusionary world.

Someone upthread compared All Stars to Top Chef. It struck me that it's actually Project Runway Chopped. Weird stuff to work with and too little time to do it. I think the fix is in for Sonjia. I saw Zanna on Wendy Williams some time back. When asked about Sonjia, she giggled. Dimitri for me!

I wonder if the Truth Cannon when cornered throws out something truly mean and disgusting about Harry's brothers. She'd be lucky to only get a drink in her face.

Aviva Drescher: Leggy Blonde

Aviva and Reid are totally faking it (and poorly) on this show. Pathetic. -
Now that Helen is in the final three, I can't wait to see her Wednesday Adams collection.

S05.E12: Drama Queens
Pattycake2 replied to zoeysmom's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Not only did Brandi shove Kyle backwards in the hallway, in the extended footage she is shown towering over Kyle and holding her wrists. That's aggression. After watching Celebrity Rehab and seeing Dr. Drew take several of the celebs for brain scans which pointed out problems, I think Kim has brain damage. -

I've had a cracked rib. It's extremely painful to stand up or sit down. Disk problem? Iit 's excruciating to walk or stand up or sit down or do anything. To still be able to do a ninja kick in the limo? I gotta get me some of those pills!
