I'm going to cry so hard when this show is over. Already feeling it in the pit of my stomach.

Yay! Finally!

I really wanted to love this show, but I'm disappointed so far. I don't mind that the last male is annoying and shallow because of course he would be, and his little monkey too. But the women also tend to blend together to me, and it seems like a lot of key moments are skipped over. I don't watch a lot of TV, so this is probably not a relevant reference, and it's definitely not a timely one. But, my favorite apocalyptic show is Battlestar Galactica. The exposition scenes in that show contain so many iconic, character-establishing moments, especially the moment Roslin realizes she is next in the line of succession for president and takes the oath of office. With this show, there are few memorable moments. I don't even remember how the Diane Lane character finds out she is president. I did like some moments, like when the new president talks the woman engineer into going to work despite her grief. It's discouraging but probably accurate that there are not enough trained women to take up the slack when it comes to basic infrastructure. Living through the Ida aftermath right now, I wonder if we would ever get our garbage picked up in the Y universe. Agent 355 is by far the most intriguing character. I might keep watching just to see what happens with her. I loved the fake-out where it seemed like she had won the pilots' loyalty but then just blew them to smithereens. I really hated the rabbit story line or any cruelty to animals story line, but I blew past it because I figured Grace couldn't really kill an animal with her "bare voice" and she was deluded thinking she killed it. Now that y'all are telling me rabbits can die from fright, I hate the whole thing so much more.

That describes the whole episode! Not really. I thought it was great. I can't even remember which sketch it was from, but my favorite line from the entire show was "When can we stop washing our hands?!" I'm still laughing about it.

I enjoyed the runway show this episode, but for a lot of them I couldn't tell the difference between the "accessible" piece and the "showstopper." Tim's role is really weird on this show since the designers already have an established brand and don't really need a mentor. However, I believe he did help Rinat get the win by suggesting a contrasting fabric for the lining of that jacket. And even though Sabato's dress that he loved was so ugly, somehow it was a lot uglier on the model than it was on the mannequin. I could kind of see what Tim was saying. If Sabato could translate his aesthetic of elegant simplicity into something for everyday, that would make him more of a contender to be a "global brand." Too bad it didn't work. I bet everyone noticed the woman in the background at the fabric store wearing a mask. I know that's common in Asian countries, but I bet next season a lot of fashion collections will include masks and face coverings.

Daniel and Minju both seem like lovely people, and I really enjoyed both of their runway shows. However, I knew 15 minutes into the episode that Minju was going to win. I was a little worried when the contestants' families showed up right after the talking head about how Minju's sister has been holding her back. It seemed like her family's presence might cause tension and throw her off. But it turned out the opposite. Her father's speech was so touching, and I was moved to see her sister tear up over how she has squelched Minju's creativity. I can't believe no one has mentioned the pig nose yet. Thoughts?

Thanks to those in this thread who recommended Next in Fashion. It's also more entertaining than Making the Cut. The $250,000 prize, along with no prizes for weekly wins, is a little sad by comparison though. I'm happy to now have two mindless fashion reality shows to watch.

I found this not nearly as entertaining and Project Runway. A lot of the things on PR that make it unrealistic compared to what designers actually do--sewing everything themselves, having only 30 minutes to buy fabric, etc.--are a big part of what makes it exciting. The unsystematic elimination process also lacks drama. Why do we care if the judges changed their minds if we don't know what their minds were in the first place? I think it will get more interesting as we get to know the designers better.

Rachel is truly a leader of the resistance now. Like others have said, her opening segments the last few nights have sent chills down my spine. I am listening to her and her guests and following their lead. I like how she is not just reporting the facts but asking "What do we do?". Just started reading On Tyranny. ETA: On Tyranny is a very quick read! I already finished it. Highly recommend.

Just watched all ten episodes and enjoyed them. The new Queer Eye is too sappy for me, so it was nice to see the two funniest original QE guys team up. However, I could never get my house made over by them because I like old-timey things too much and I don't want anything to do with "modern" and "fresh." In the last episode, for example, I adored the sweet, yellow damask wallpaper. Give me $100,000 and an Anthropologie catalog, and I would have made that place so cute!

There is definitely another season, and it will be the last one. And you may have meant to post this in a different episode thread, but Episode 12 is also not the final episode of Season 6. There is one more after this one.

My thought when Frankie used her box cutter was Nick was clever to have the money built into the sofa. No one would think to look there. I liked that Frankie finally got to use some of the amateur sleuthing skills she is always bragging about, but Nick's clue was so obvious Grace and the FBI officers should have figured it out.

First and foremost, I hope no one goes to the great beyond. I feel like Season 7 has been set up pretty clearly. Shenanigans will ensue with Robert and Sol living at the beach house, but they will most likely figure out a way to restore their own house and move out by mid season. More shenanigans happen with Grace and Frankie trying to get Rise Up off the ground, probably involving how they're going to launder that money. Grace will visit Nick in prison but eventually either divorce or otherwise make it clear that she's not moving back in with him when he gets out. A health scare or something else dramatic makes Grace and Frankie decide once and for all to stop looking for happiness elsewhere when they have it in their own backyard, and they vow to stay together forever. The show ends with them holding hands on the beach. I'm getting a little teary thinking about this. I will be so sad to say goodbye to my TV grandmas.

This was my least favorite season so far, but I liked the ending. I'm glad Grace had already decided something major had to change in her relationship with Nick before the deus ex machina of FBI agents. Loved the callback to Grace's credit cards being declined. I think she would have kept some cards in her own name, but I'll hand wave that for the sake of coming full circle to season 1 thematically. I have always disliked Nick. Rich guys who constantly brag about their wealth and power and how the law doesn't apply to them are my least favorite types of people. So I am quite happy to see him out of the picture. As he was being arrested, I mentally noted how much this moment had been foreshadowed. Then when Frankie said, "he did brag a lot about evading taxes," I literally LOLed. I know! Won't they get in trouble if they try to spend that money?! Frankie's toilet bong was genius. Loved that we got a lighthearted season cliffhanger for a change. Robert and Sol moving in is so sitcommy, and I'm here for it.

I thought once Mallory and her boyfriend started being honest with each other he would gradually become more and more annoying, but that escalated quickly.

I was thinking the same thing, MissLucas. Doesn't this product already exist? It would not, however, fit in well with the decor of Nick's penthouse. I wonder what the set design and wardrobe are supposed to signify this season. Nick's house is beautiful and elegant but also sterile and inhospitable. It doesn't look like anyone actually lives there. And what's with the armless woman standing over people while they pee? During Grace's time with Frankie her clothing style evolved to be more colorful and casual. Now she's gone back to wearing more formal geometrical clothes in neutral tones. But it's not like the business style clothes she used to wear. It's more like what a rich socialite would wear, I guess. Elliott Gould is funny as the doctor.

I am finding this season kind of boring and depressing so far. The main draw for me is Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin together. (I have been known to fast forward through scenes they're not in.) In this episode it seemed like they were going to interact more when Grace invited Frankie to that dinner, but then they immediately split up.

It's very real. When I was around 18, my grandmother got stuck in the bathtub. The bathroom door was locked, so I had to take it off the hinges to get her out. Will never forget her apologizing for me having to see her naked. It can feel humiliating to be in that situation, so I understand why Grace doesn't want Nick to know, but other hand, it doesn't seem to bode well for their marriage. I guess a lot of newly weds would feel the same though.

Not a fan of the circus stripes, but the design of Shavi's dress was very cute. I could see Cyndi Lauper wearing it. Dayoung's looked very 80s, but not in a good way! Like others have said, I want to see Nancy's without the cape. It might actually have been one of the best. I could barely enjoy watching the show because I was so worried the whole time that Cyndi Lauper was not going to like Geoffrey's outfit. Seeing the gay icon crush the soul of the sweet gay misfit was not something I was down for. Whew! Cyndi still reigns.
