Yeah I'm very lucky my parents are both still here and healthy (for the most part!) And I'm lucky my mom and I have overlapping tastes in music, tv/movies and books, so I can watch and enjoy Supernatural with her even if we don't agree on which episodes we like!

I pretty much watch all the episodes except season 1 on Netflix. Seasons 10 and 11 are the only ones missing this. Would like them to fix that AND fix season 1 music (never happen, I know...)

In the psychic town of Lilydale episode, he was controlling the ghost by having her bones, but he wasn't a witch or demon. It's the only ghost-being-controlled episode I can think of.

That was my thought as well, but most of the time they just use show music, so... Just weird to me. It does speed up the re-watching though.

Yeah, that I knew. They just make S11 look so damn good, and then I had to sit through "Amara grows up with Uncle Crowley." Sigh...

Sometimes they have really good songs during the THEN, and it completely eliminates "Carry On Wayward Son". I'd like to know why as well...

I went and watched their other videos, I'm assuming "The Family Business" was their promo for S11? Had I seen this I would've lost my shit, this makes the season look AMAZING, compared to what we ended up with (glaring at you mytharc). Makes me worried S12 will end up the same way. I did love "Talking With Strangers" though!

I'm also watching various S11 episodes, mostly because they are now on Netflix and it's easy to jump around. Again with the no THEN/NOW at the beginning of each episode, just like S10 /grrrr. Netflix also changed the image for Supernatural, I preferred the other with hands reaching up from hell. Looked very horror-ish. The new pic just looks like a modeling ad. So far I've watched Baby, Safe House and Red Meat, will probably watch Plush, The Vessel, Don't You Forget About Me, All In The Family, and Form and Void.

I'm guessing this is from one of the extended promo videos (which I've been avoiding, I like teasers but not extended videos from just one episode). So I just finished up season 6 and most of season 7 over the weekend, and when Sam & Dean track down Eve in the diner, she changes into Mary. Castiel and Bobby are brought into the diner while she is still Mary, and after she bites Dean, he says "Call you later, Mom". You can't tell me that Castiel doesn't know what she looks like. With those pictures he's been carrying around and/or left in his room?? Shenanigans. Also on the "Mary's been in heaven for 30 years" comment, agree with @catrox14, even more shenanigans. By the time they see Ash (and remember him), he'd had about 3 years to be looking for Mary and you're telling me that Ash couldn't find her? Bah. There were so many more interesting things they could've come up with as to where she's been, and they choose this.

Walking down the hall back to your sub-zero, windowless office on the 6th floor, you mutter to yourself "They just keep sending me back up to this arctic craphole." Bonus, you get an IM from your boss, saying that Kevin's on the phone and wants to talk to you. All you can think of is "Kevin? Did he find the three trials already?" (Yes I actually did that this morning, and it took me a good 30 seconds to realize who Kevin really was. I blame head trauma)

My mom and I had a discussion while watching this: Mom: Those aren't apple trees. Me: Yeah they liked the way these looked all creepy so used them instead. Mom: But they're not apple trees. Me: I know, I just said they're not. I think they're hazelnut. Mom: But why did they use those instead? I don't like them. Me: ... All that aside, "Scarecrow" is a favorite from season 1 for me. Sam leaves Dean for an actual REASON instead of just drama/angst/you killed my friend/I can't trust you, and the apple pie quote is gold. And "Bad Company" will always be associated with "I have to make a call... It's not that kind of call"
