  1. Also, what about Casey's description of Loki's time slipping? Before the opening credits, Casey is taking Loki to see Mobius and B-15. As he walks away from Loki, we hear a whoosh and Casey turns to see Loki gone. However, when Casey meets up with Mobius: CASEY: Hey, uh, Mobius? Loki was just here looking for you. MOBIUS: Loki's here? CASEY: He was, and then he disappeared. B-15: I don't understand. CASEY: He disappeared right in front of me. He looked like he was in pain. Either an editing/directing error, or Casey embellishes! 😲
  2. Glad to meet another fan! 😄 Also loved the fact that in the first scene with O.B., we had “Wow” from Ke Huy Quan and Tom Hiddleston, but not Owen Wilson! The long wait is over; welcome back, Loki!
  3. I liked that they specifically said the crossword task was to be done from memory. Nothing wrong with taking notes, but just looking up answers from your race journal takes away the challenge. And because this is probably the only chance I will have to type this in my life: Blergh!
  4. Ahsoka used too much orca when speaking with the purgill.
  5. We might have gotten the CoBro theme over the closing credits -- you can hear the "cobra strike" effect several times, and strangely, a rattlesnake "death rattle" effect as well! ...which will make it really confusing when the two of them run into Teddy Dimas! 😲
  6. Lovely to have Dani sitting by her old friend as he woke up, but no “Hi, Bob?” 😀
  7. Are you suggesting there is a CoBro? Or maybe the third of the Glenroy triplets did it!
  8. You see, this is why if you’re going to inhabit a theatre that it’s much better to have a subterranean lair with water and thousands of candles! On that note, the show really missed an opportunity by not having Andrew Lloyd Webber be the Goosebury’s phantom…
  9. Those who have watched Rebels: Where is Ezra Bridger? Those who have not watched Rebels: I'll do you one better: Who is Ezra Bridger? Drax: I'll do YOU one better: Why is Ezra Bridger?
  10. I was wondering what the in-universe reason for the musical episode would be… a quantum probability field, eh? The hoopy writer who came up with that is probably a frood who really knows where their towel is!
  11. So what are the odds that this season’s murderer will be revealed in song, maybe even on stage? Vote with a smiley face for “yes”, sad face for “no!”
  12. A bit behind, so just catching up h… who farted?
  13. Are we due for some scenes with Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Valentina and Olivia Colman's Sonya?
  14. Speaking of M’Benga, how do you all (personally) pronounce his name: mmm-benga, or muh-benga? As Psych’s Shawn Spencer would say, I’ve heard it both ways…
  15. It does seem like the show runners are treating TOS canon as inspiration rather than gospel. Having said that, I do enjoy the Trek connective tissue, like the hints of TOS “conflict” music sprinkled into this episode’s soundtrack. It was cute to see Spock acting like a 14-year old kid! And speaking of the soundtrack, there was a lost opportunity for the show — should have had some weird space-Chuck Mangione music playing after Blue disappeared, while the shuttle team waited for the next customer service representative… Oh, and if Vulcans were generally more like Sevet instead of like T’Pril, we wouldn’t need to have this discussion about humans and Vulcans working together!
  16. Well, here’s a picture at Glastonbury Tor showing our moon at a similar scale…
  17. "This episode was brought to you by Amazon, makers of fine Alexa products. So you'll always have someone to remind you how to get home." Sure, there were plot holes, but it had the sensibilities of a classic Trek episode. I even loved the perpetually Pantone 257-coloured sky, the callback to the magenta and violet sky of Rigel VII from The Cage:
  18. Firstly, let me say I am in the ranks of those who really enjoyed this show. However, with the minimal CGI, the large number of outside shots in the city, the references to iconic Trek characters and plot points, a "classic" time travel dilemma, and also an actor who looks little like William Shatner playing James T. Kirk, I thought it could just as well have been a fan film! 😁

    S01.E10: Outside

So was the hard drive the installation media for Silo OS 18? 😁 Such a good episode. As the show got nearer to the end I was getting *very worried* that we were going to be left with a cliffhanger of Juliette gazing out at… something… then cut to black! Wonderful how key questions were answered, but many others, including those referred to in the mayor’s “cleaning speech”, have now been brought to the fore. Good job, show!
  20. I'm moderately disappointed that Fury didn't charge into his house yelling, "Where is my supersuit?!"
  21. Hm, Johann Schmidt would have to start calling himself Red Skrull!
  22. So much to talk about, but for now: Fury is married to a Skrull! The Skrulls want to enhance their genome! Sonya is not to be trifled with! Rhodey! …and Maria! (sniff) I wonder if we will find out the reason Fury and Carol have not been able to find a new home planet for the Skrulls is because wherever they have gone, the Skrulls are unwanted.
