Actually, I could believe that older Sheldon sincerely believed all the things he shared with others regarding his parents' relationship during the time period of TBBT. However, in this series we are now hearing/watching the recollections of an even older Sheldon, perhaps one that has had opportunity to have had honest conversations with his mother that he never would have had as an unmarried man... Sheldon is retconning himself!

With all the applications they must have received, could casting not have found a way to get a Jean-Luc onto the same tribe as Q? I guess I will just have to content myself by imagining John de Lancie’s voice and delivery every time Q speaks…

Okay, I know it wasn't cool to do this to a sleeping Connie, but the nasal spray scene was one of this series' best sight gags ever! And "What's not nice is you violatin' my nose!" 😆 But Mary and George's letters were so sweet.

"You're not holding rathtars on this planet, are you?" "I'm holding ratht -- ack!"

The urchin and the ticketing agent were both voiced by the same actor (Meg Marchand). Maybe they're related... is being larcenous an inheritable genetic trait? 😁 Loved the shot at the end with the clones looking at each other, their next words and actions unknown, a true "branching universes" moment.

With Sheldon getting his comeuppance in Germany, the writers missed out on the opportunity to include "Schadenfreude" in the episode title! Maybe it was in German, but they were using the Universal Translator? After all, the class was being taught by a hologram! (Star Trek reference!)

Gotta say, the brawl at the roller rink with Dragula reminded me of any number of fight scenes from The Umbrella Academy.

Some things about this show beggar belief, but I was on the edge of my seat for the whole episode. Knowing that RDM wouldn’t hesitate to let a character death get in the way of a dramatic moment, I really didn’t know who was going to live and who was going to die. Not sure if the most satisfying scene was the Kuznetsov station reveal, Dani’s grandmother moment, Aleida and Margo’s reconciliation, the Lee reunion, or the unleashing of Chekov’s gun in all of its foreshadowed glory… …or maybe it was the “Comrade Morozova, please come in” scene. Yeah, it was that one. 😁

After hearing VDO as Fisk, it always amuses me how relaxed his regular speaking voice and manner are. It’s like talking with your neighbour’s adult son who happens to be an actor!
