Having never had the privilege of being on one of these fancy super yachts...isn't there an easy way to get onto a yacht from a dinghy? Can't you get on via the back? Or isn't there a rope ladder? How did Niccolo get on board? Shouldn't Tanya have been able to use the same means to get back into the dinghy? I know it makes for funnier tv to have her off herself by clumsily hitting her head, but that's beside the point. I thought Tanya would have taken the bag and the gun and just thrown it into the ocean. But her taking it and magically somehow killing all but two of the gays without even aiming was hilarious. Count me in the camp that Ethan and Daphne hooked up on the island. They still never explained why Ethan isn't attracted to Harper. She's beautiful and fit. What was the underlying problem? As some have posted, I'm not a fan of all these loose ends and leave it up to the audience's imagination. Would have liked for Mike White to tie up all the stories, although who knows, maybe at least one of him will be carried over to season 3.

This one isn't going to be noticeable to anyone, since this is a tv forum and I hear it on the radio. But it's so annoying that I just feel better posting it here. Shopify has an ad where they promote their services by spotlighting a small mom and pop company that uses Shopify to sell their goods. There is a woman who has a company named Satia (?) which sells cream/lotion that she created by cooking up something on her stove in her kitchen. "My daughter suffers from eck-ZEE-ma and I was unhappy with the medicines that the doctor gave us. So I did research and made my own eck-ZEE-ma lotion that has helped her tremendously." (Paraphrasing, not an exact quote.). If you're going to create a company that is completely based on treating one medical condition, don't you think you should learn how to pronounce said medical condition? I think most would agree that it's pronounced EG-zuh-muh.

I almost quit this series during last season's disaster of a storyline. Mainly because I couldn't follow it and didn't understand the timeline. Then I'd come on these boards and read all the discussion and wonder just how dumb I must be since I still don't get it, yet everyone here seems to have a crystal clear understanding of who is who, who is a bot, who is real, timeline jumps, etc. So this season rolls around and I get sucked back in. I'm excited to see them go back into a world, but now I'm reading all these comments and once again realize I have no idea what the eff is going on. I feel like I need the dumbed down version of Westworld. Why is it only me that doesn't understand this show???

Like almost everyone here, I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and have watched all the theatrical movies. Star Wars was part of my childhood, and I have memories of the original trilogy and going to the theater. But I've never watched/read Clone Wars, the animated stuff, graphic novels, books, fan forums, etc. So just for me to remember the timeline of where all these stories fit, what happened when, who knows what, etc., is difficult when we're talking remembering events from the past 45 years. So I'm not as much of a (and I say this nicely) Stars War geek than some here. So yes, while there's always going to be critique, much like there was with Mando and Boba Fett, I still enjoy anything Star Wars. Of the three Disney series releases, I was most excited about this one since it obviously brings back Obi Wan, Leia, and Vader. While there are some obvious major story flaws (Obi Wan and Leia sort of forget they hung out before when New Hope comes along?), I love that they are able to incorporate storylines/plot devices while remaining within the fixed framework of the original story. Some would say this is one of the major flaws of this series - we never were concerned for Obi Wan getting killed by Vader, nor Owen and Luke being hunted by Reva... because obviously these characters cannot die. But it's fun to see even the tiniest of details being worked in, such as Obi Wan giving the child Luke the toy spaceship that he ends up playing with in New Hope. That's fun to see. I think if there is another series, that will be fun to see even more adventures with Leia and clashes with Vader. But it would also raise more questions - why didn't they say this in the the original trilogy, that couldn't have happened because ...., etc. I feel like at this point it's almost better left alone and just let us deal with 10 years of living as a hermit. But as a fan, I still want to see it and hope it happens!

Really dumb of Reva to think that she can kill Vader by striking him with a lightsaber behind his back. This guy can feel force movements and has Spider sense. Come on now. And how can she not be dead if she had a lightsaber stuck right through her? I guess the Grand Inquisitor is alive, so who knows. Vader being able to pull down the spaceship and then just rip it open with the force was impressive. Sad there is only one episode left. Seems like a lot to wrap up in just one show.

Really liking this series, much more than the disappointing Boba Fett. I obviously have watched all of the theatrical Star Wars movies, but I have never followed any of the other books/graphic novels/animated series/etc. So I have a little trouble with timeline and knowing where this all fits into the grand scheme of things. Leia is supposed to be 10 we know, but to me, she looks and acts younger than 10. Seems small for 10. Also, if Kenobi is supposed to be training Luke in less than 10 years, how does he go from looking like maybe he's in his 40s/early 50s to a more frail white haired Alec Guiness in that time? Doesn't really fit. I know that these new series are constrained by the storylines already told decades ago, and it's quite amazing that they can interweave all of the plot points into the new movies/series. So some things we just have to let go. If Reva could Force read the charlatan's mind to figure out where Ben and Leia would be going, why didn't she just do that with Owen in the town? I guess she had no reason to suspect that he knew Obi Wan? Can't wait for Obi Wan to finally wield the blue lightsaber! That will be something indeed!

Agree with everyone. Not a very satisfying finale. I must have missed a sequence or been falling asleep. It was I think last week where we saw Voight meet Escano on a bench in a park. Escano gave him an envelope of money and then also a tracking device back. Why? What was that all about? And then Anna said this week to Escano something like "that's why they put a tracking device on you". Was Voight and Escano in cahoots? What was all that? Very very confused. When Voight picked up Anna frantically and told her to jump in the car, then he takes her to the police station, she's in a daze and she muttered something like "he's letting me be seen". So was there a dirty cop that then tipped of Escano? Was this how Escano knew Anna was working with Voight? How did she get blown? I had absolutely no clue what was happening at the end. The guy in the motel gets shot by some dude. Who was that guy? The guy blows up the drugs in the truck. Why? To cover tracks? And Escano meanwhile was just hanging out at the money house? I don't know if my brain just isn't understanding things these days or if I'm just not paying attention. Anna...sigh. We all knew this character wasn't going to make it through the season. Which is sad because now the kid is orphaned. So she wanted out of the game. She was an emotional wreck with PTSD from the gang rape. So she goes and kills and castrates Escano. She knows she's done. But when Voight tries to help her, she just wants to leave and shoots him? WTH? Why didn't she just get back in her car (or was it non-operable?) and leave? Voight wasn't going to physically take her down. What good would come out of shooting him? Hailey/Jay had no choice but to shoot her.

LOL, forgot Kim Delaney was Kelly's mom and didn't even recognize her on FaceTime. Had a massive crush on her when she was younger. Cliffhanger was an "of course" moment. Kelly is so macho, he wanted to take these guys on right away. "I'm ready to meet. Let's go. I'm ready to testify. Today." Surprised that Stella didn't express even at least a hint of concern. I'd be worried about testifying against the mob, I'd ask about protection, how long, etc. For the other police guy to just say he was in Canada or Seattle (?), how was that reassuring? The guy had just left a few hours ago and now he's already in Seattle? Huh? Just very poor that they didn't take more precautions. Agree re the glass. Really? Somebody runs into it and you fall right through? Casey had the ugly mop on his head when he first appeared. But then it was combed for the wedding. Seemed a little rushed to tie it up with Brett. A 30 second convo of "my life is here at this house." So I guess that means they're done and he's not coming back. Why did Jesse Spencer leave the show in the first place? To try something new? Agree, Casey never had that black Halligan, we would have seen it. Now all of a sudden it's some prized house heirloom that needs to be passed down to everyone. What the heck. And why doesn't he need a Halligan in Portland? They don't have fires up there? Remo Williams. Ah, I remember the VHS box with him at the Statue of Liberty. One of the first PG13 movies I watched at home as a kid during sleepovers. We thought we were so bada$$ then renting PG13 movies. If I watched it again, I'd probably think it was very campy.

Crockett was overbearing and ridiculous. Much like any medical show, they perpetuate the misconception that a doctor of any specialty is an expert in every specialty that is not of his/her own. Crockett is a trauma surgeon, yet somehow became a transplant surgeon, yet now knows the nuances of neurosurgery as well. These are all specific specialties where doctors have to do years of additional training. Trauma and transplant? OK, maybe a little overlap and I can see that. A transplant surgeon knowing neurosurgery? No. What's also not addressed is why Blake gave him power of attorney in the first place and not her daughter. Was their relationship bad? Don't you think she should have had this discussion first with the daughter? And Crockett and the daughter...they did or did not hook up? I remember the storyline implied that they were going to, but I don't ever recall seeing them in bed together. So isn't that inherently awkward? Yet it wasn't addressed? Sharon and her daughter appeared to be at the Signature Room, which is on the 95th floor of the John Hancock center. So walking down isn't an option. Yes, obviously there would be a freight elevator. But there only has to be one elevator to fit with the inane storyline. Certainly this building has multiple banks of elevators being a high rise. Looked like they cleared the restaurant for the delivery and had everyone escorted out. So did they have to walk down? So Scott goes to see Jo/Milena one last time. Not for a quickie. Not even for a hug. Just because "he couldn't let her leave without seeing her". Uh, how dumb are you? That's what FaceTime is for. What I'm confused about is that this guy was apparently in her apartment even before Scott got there? I think? It appeared that way. So he's lying in wait. Presumably Jo just didn't arrive home carrying groceries and she was just there for a minute before Dylan arrived. What was that dude waiting for? Also (since I fell asleep last episode), does Will know she was undercover? Scott I think first told Will something about "Milena", but then when they were in the stairwell with the fire and he saw the blood on the wall, he said "That's Jo's." So a little continuity mix up there. Also, when did Jo get shot? Scott and dude struggle, he gets shot through the chest...the bullet exited him and then got lodged into Milena's stomach? Yeah, I don't think she would be walking down the stairs through raging fire if that were the case. I still can't stand Choi. So Choi and Archer in their dress whites (I agree that dress whites always look sharp) for the memorial and gun salute. Then he hands the flag over to the grieving crying veteran. So essentially Choi outs his father then? When he was struggling all along with whether or not to keep the secret? And where was his sister at the service?

Yes, the device rep that seemingly out of nowhere got romantically interested in Will and invited him to a concert and then back to her apartment for drinks. As these device representatives are paid on commission, I'm sure there have been instances of sleeping with doctors to get their product used more. But for some reason I don't think that would happen as much now? I must be losing interest in this show. Wasn't even pausing the show when I had to go to the bathroom, go to the other room, etc. Just don't care as much anymore. Choi? Blech. Maggie? Even more blech. Crockett? OK, still interesting but he's getting bogged down by Blake. Scott? Seems like he doesn't have much direction and is just scattered. Will? Too much drama. Asher? Eh, just go away. Charles? Probably remains the most level headed, but I just can't stand the psych storylines.

Size of the baby does not determine when the baby is born. A baby born on its due date could be 6 pounds. It could be 9 pounds. I would think that the writers or at the very least the medical advisor they have would know such a simple fact that anyone who has had a child would know. So I'm not really sure where this is going either. Choi and his closeted dad. I just don't care. The dad is already gone. The sister deserves to know.

Has there been any talk of a new regular? Who would he replace? Unlike many here, I wasn't a fan. When you're new on the job, try to be a little more engaging. Halstead was right on when he said to him that he needed to answer in complete sentences. The moodiness was over the top. No new fresh faced recruit would act like that. And was this guy actually a full fledged cop? Or was he still at the Academy? When they were calling off names in that high school gym, was that where they were being assigned to? For some reason, I got the impression that this was part of their academy training, sort of like a "rotation" in a specialized unit so you could see what was out there. And I don't think you can get assigned to Voight's unit right out of the academy, can you? Seems like you would need a certain number of years of service before getting recognized and promoted. Apparently so, which makes it amazing that she's not outed by anyone. I was distracted the whole time she was on the screen because she either had a very bad cold and seemed to have broken skin under her nose, or it was a cold sore. I like the brief allusion to the drug running operation with the bakery ("your handler has me busy doing other things".

I get that production probably found a closed down grocery store so then they could go in to do several days of filming. But come on, that was the most pathetically stocked grocery store ever. Yes, it was a Mom and Pop / Mexican store. But just not realistic. If they had the budget to do that over the top car in the Chicago river episode, then they could have spent more money on props to at least fill the shelves. Wow, you're making me hungry. I've never done brisket before, I favor tri-tip if I'm going to do something other than a steak. But one of these days I'm going to try. Agree that the fill-in paramedic is shady. Something's up.

I'm already done with Asher. Obviously the character is written to be the misunderstood combative recovering addict that must prove she belongs. So it's only natural that she clashes with Archer immediately. The surgery to remove the fibroid on the pregnant woman was ridiculous. There's a reason why it never happens. And since when does Goodwin have a daughter anyway? It was a surprise to me. Whatever happened to her surgical device rep son? So I suppose Stevie really is indeed gone? I like Scott and happy to see him hooking up with Milena, but the actors have no chemistry at all. So why was Milena carrying that much cash? So the guy shot himself pointblank with a shotgun using his big toe, meaning the gun was pretty much pushed onto his belly. And he somehow survives?

I'm sure Kenedi was contacted by someone and given an offer. It's been years since I watched Idol, and I only started just last night when I saw they were at the Aulani. In the back of my head, I seem to remember reading somewhere years ago that the winner has to sign some restrictive contract. So maybe this is a better professional opportunity for her. But why the pressure to sign immediately? Maybe it was sort of like the Venus Williams contract offer that was only good for one night as depicted in King Richard. Sign now, or there's no offer. But why didn't they at least show the judges' comments? I would have liked to hear the critique. Did they hate it and cause her to cry? And that's why she left? Did they cut it to give the 30 seconds to Ryan to give the postproduction explanation? Seems odd. Don't like the Cameron kid. The over the top energy. And I hate guys that always run their hands through their hair to push it back. If it's that long and it's bothering you, then cut it shorter.

I'm sure Will regrets what he did this morning and this too shall pass. Would be curious to see if there's going to be any outreach on his part to Chris to apologize. Or if the feud will go on. Reports are out there that the LAPD was notified of an incident of "one man slapping another" (ha) but that the victim is not choosing to press charges. Wow, Will Smith truly is a huge celebrity and one of the big names of Hollywood. He walks up to the stage where he's not supposed to be (since he wasn't receiving an award or presenting at that time), assaults the person who rightfully is there by slapping him hard, and then calmly walks back to his seat. And the producers don't escort him out of there immediately? If you were an audience member that went up to hug Chris Rock, you'd be hauled off by security. Yet nothing of the sort. There's a video clip from somebody in the audience during one of the commercial breaks that you see a producer talking to Will. But he was still allowed to stay. Imagine if you're at a football game and you run out on the field. You're tackled immediately. And this is if you're just having fun being on the field. Not even trying to (stupidly) take down Aaron Rodgers. You're arrested and you spend a night in jail. Double standards. But that's celebrity for you...

Pretty sure Chris Rock was unaware of her medical condition. I certainly was. It's not like every celebrity follows everybody's social media, is it? How would Chris Rock have known? What I don't get is why Chris Rock was giving even a little stand-up segment to begin with? He's there to present a documentary award. Has nothing to do with comedy. Sure, when there's a few presenters up there together, there's a little banter. Sometimes fun. Sometimes stupid. But he's up there giving his little routine that has nothing to do with the award he's presenting. He's had his shot to host before. It's not his job to poke fun at the audience like a host would do in an opening monologue. Just odd that the producers even let him do it in the first place. Will laughed at the joke. Then you saw Jada roll her eyes. So maybe she got pissed and said something to him off camera that we didn't see. There's also reports that in rehearsals, there was no problem. Did Chris Rock say the jokes in rehearsal? I doubt he would have.

Getting a little confused. If Owen is working with Elena and he hears that Val was almost killed, does he really have that much of a cold cold heart? He couldn't even admit that he's in cahoots? I don't like the whole Owen-Sergei story line and have no clue what's happening there. Val and the guy with the mop on his head. So of course the guy with all the technology can't get into the safe room. Val kills one guy, and then two, but runs out of ammo. And doesn't think to take the dead guy's machine gun that's just lying there? KNOWING that there is a third gunman in the house? WTH? And was the door to the safe room really stuck and he somehow got it open? Because that's where he was hiding when Val came up on the unsuspecting gunman and knocked him out cold. What kind of a safe room is so obvious?

I thought this was an awesome episode. Felt sorry for Anna. Yes, she's been used all her life. When Voight was telling her she had to find a way to get close to Escano, and it had to be more than "just having sex"...wtf? She didn't even bat an eye at the implication that she might have to have sex with the guy. It's just part of her job, no big deal. She really is owned by Voight. And like she said, for what? What's she getting out of this? Presumably money, which we didn't see change hands this time. She's risking her life for some dollars to support her child. Let's hope she doesn't end up dead. And where is this child again? I forget. When she was working in the bakery and the shooter came in, she didn't act surprised. Does she know this guy? She said something like "Why did you come here?" as she opened the door, as if she recognized him. Just a confusing sequence. And when this guy said the cops shot him and Escano had a menacing look on his face, was there any follow-up? Did Escano wonder why the cops were already on the street and whether he might be under surveillance? She works in a bakery. Surely there are rubber gloves in the kitchen. Why not put those on before sewing up this complete stranger who could have some communicable disease?

So the Stevie actress is pregnant, didn't look like it in any of the episodes, but I assume she'll be gone given that Dr. Asher is making her return. And lol, now she'll be the OB expert that is brought in on any and everything remotely baby related. I assume we'll never see the doctor that delivered the baby this episode ever again. Who knows about Ethan, but I don't really care that he's gone. The actor always had a permanent look of consternation....or even constipation. That was the actor's one look. I'm assuming that Dr. Shentu fills the "Asian doctor" role - sad that we even have to think of things like that but it's 2022 and that's reality. So I'm assuming that Shentu being around will keep the diversity police happy. Anything that will happen I'm sure will involve some seedy characters and will allow crossover with his brother and PD, so I'm good with it.

Still Jessy Schramm. I guess during a pandemic, two years flies by just like that. I didn't realize it had been two years since the whole stupid Halstead and OBGYN junkie storyline. I remember comments back then when it looked obvious that she was going to be off the show - "You don't hire Jessy Schramm just for a handful of episodes." As if everyone is supposed to know who Jessy Schramm is. I certainly didn't. Looking at her IMDB bio, it looks like she's had parts in a lot of tv shows, but is she somebody that is famous? Guessing they didn't think they'd want to revive the dumb storyline from two years ago. But since it maybe appears that Stevie is gone (?), Nataloon is GONE, somebody has to be brought in to create some love life drama for Will? For sure. Also ridiculous was that the perinatologist/OB was not in the operating room at the time, Crockett yells "We need perinatology in the OR STAT", she shows up literally in ten seconds, doesn't even put on a surgical gown (WTF?), and takes the baby out in five seconds with a single swipe to the belly. Gotta love tv. Seems like Will is in for some trouble with this real estate deal. So it's not the same building that Atwater bought, but in the same neighborhood? They grew up in the same neighborhood? Did he use part of the $1.2 million that he got last episode to buy it? Obviously the patient who was going to have the lung lobectomy but then changed his mind and had CT drainage is foreshadowing that there are going to be issues. He said something like "sometimes it's better to be conservative and not jump into something without knowing the risks".

Would agree with everyone that the heart surgeon was an a$$, but the guy had just left the OR, why didn't Marcel have his lackey surgeon call to get him back into the room? Instead the lackey just said "you're not touching CT's field", and Marcel just said yes I am. Without even trying to get the CT surgeon back into the room. What gives? The woman with the mites...of course it's a psychiatric diagnosis and of course it got better with medication given to her without her knowledge. Nothing special at all about this story. Other than to give Nora Dunn's character more screen time and I just don't really care to see anything develop with her and Charles. When Milena and Scott realized they were both cops, why didn't she break cover and at least tell him? Because he's no longer a cop, so she can't? Looks like next week she does. She was in deep cover if she's going to act all suspicious and clutching the bag when she lands in the ER and there's no one else around that she has to act for. Knew that the fiancé was going to break it off. The mother in law looked like an awful shrew and just scowled at Halstead when he came out to talk to the guy.

Aside from the doorknob, do you have any other specific examples from the race that you felt judging on their tasks was harsher and stricter? The only other judging task that I recall was the flag routine in Switzerland. Do you feel that they were held to a higher standard? I think not. They didn't choose the Donald Where's Your Troosers detour. I think the foley task was the only one where there was a huge degree of subjectivity.

I must have blinked a lot during the episode because I didn't really understand the Goodwin machination with Shentu. From context after the discussion with Archer, I'm guessing Shentu had some really strict ivory towerish type policy that prevented doctors from doing their job? What policy was it specifically? And when he somehow was asked to put on scrubs (why was that exactly? He happened to be in the ER and they were short so he actually had to Doctor again and not just be some corporate puppet?) that he now discovered how corporate policies made by people who don't practice actual medicine can be shockingly prohibitive? The lack of April is really enjoyable. Also her brother seems to be gone because of that as well. Don't miss Nat, although Stevie has replaced her as the new Halstead love interest. Don't mind that Choi is gone as well because he's gotten a big head since he became chief, but then now with the injury recovery he always appeared constipated. Don't care for the Charles and his psychiatrist story. So Terrell is dyslexic, but he never was able to get help. Did the wife/Scott's ex know that he couldn't read? I think when Terrel got brought in unresponsive, the EMT was wearing a mask while nobody else was. Which just appeared odd. Yes, a little disclaimer at the beginning would be nice, but I think the producers probably think we are smart enough to separate fiction from reality. Heck, we have to suspend disbelief for probably at least 50% of these medical scenarios anyway. Seems like we could just conveniently forget that doctors would be wearing masks in these situations during a pandemic.

There's no reason for a past winner to return to the race. I guess if they have an All-Stars, but given that they're not hurting for money presumably, the anxiety and stress I'm guessing would be too much for her again. I always thought the "nerd glasses" or whatever he called them were just reading glasses. We never saw him wear glasses at any other time in the race, right? So there's no way they are progressives. He's over 40, very common to be farsighted meaning you can't see items close up. It's why our parents would always take off their glasses when they needed to read. He was tying knots in the fishing net, so that's when he put his glasses on. Glasses meant for presbyopia will do nothing to help you with seeing at a long distance. Well, they're already successful from their social media, so while an extra $1M is nice, it wouldn't be life changing like it would have been for the flight attendants. I like that they seem very down to earth and aren't going to blow their money on a Lambo. Seems like Ryan bought a lot of cars after his settlement. Wow, only 22 minutes? Seemed like at the elevator task, it wasn't clear if each team took their own tower. At one point, Ryan and Dusty clearly were at a tower that one of the other two teams were already at because the lock was undone. I'm continually surprised how difficult people think map reading is. Maybe it's a sign of my age. I suppose with smart phones and gps these days, there really is no need to know. But it seems like a simple skill that doesn't require a lot of smarts.
