  1. Hi Lianau, the real heir baby died in the fire. The lady arrested had her own baby which she pretended was the real heir so that he would have a better life. We have finally gotten some Ben episodes in the Washington DC area. I like him a lot!
  2. Street and Animation being my favorites to watch along with Ballroom and Tap, I'm pretty happy. Contemporary is my ultimate least favorite dance form. I agree with someone up thread, I just don't get it, all the contemp dance routines seem the same to me. I'm hoping for more ball room some day. Ah well. I'm willing to give Jason and Paula a chance. I used to like Mary Murphy before she did nothing but scream. So I hope that this will be a little more seriously about dance rather than screeching. And as usual, Cat Deeley is adorable.
  3. Well, I was going to watch the finale, but since I'm a Damiano fan, I decided to see who won so if he didn't I didn't waste my time watching. Good thing, so I had a free hour to spend on something else. Though Andy produced lovely things, I really wasn't a fan. Meh.
  4. I couldn't make the whole two hours so I didn't see the end but I'm glad that the Drew Carey clone was unseated. I'm also glad this show is over. Whew. Not sure why I kept with it. The trivia nerd in me wouldn't let me change the channel, LOL
  5. If you don't like Nancy now, just wait till she says, "Yummy yummy yummy to my tummy tummy tummy". I feel like punching my hand through the TV screen any time she says that. I like the Italian guy, Damiano. I grew up with a bunch of full blooded Italians, so the personality doesn't bug me. His desserts have looked great. I'm seriously impressed with some of the piping skills these people have. Also, the crying, ug. It gave the impression of, "Oh woe is me. Don't eliminate poor me, I'm crying!" Ploy.
  6. Since Age of Ultron is coming out this weekend, I've had to binge watch for the last few days. So I got up to this episode already, which is a surprise to me. The end of the first season was really gripping and memorable for me. Everyone has been talking about this second season being fantastic. I'm still waiting for the fantastic to happen. Maybe that's why these episodes seem to be playing quickly to me, with out as much depth. I'm probably the only one on the planet who doesn't think of Bobbi and Mack as the second coming. Quite frankly, I can't stand them. I have flipped on my opinion on Hunter though. I think he's terrific now! God help me, I'm rooting for Ward. I remember toward the beginning of the first season, people were speculating that Coulson and his team was given their assignments to make them feel like they are participating in Shield when in fact Shield was doing their own thing separate from Coulson's team. Perhaps we are getting back to this?
  7. As I recall, Alex has always been in love with New England accents. In years past he's always referred to it as a beautiful accent.
  8. Yes, I realize I'm disgustingly behind on the comments. I'm disgustingly behind on my viewing and only just watched this. I agree with the above quote. Linda should be awesome, but she strikes me as a little too pushy and a little too snarky for my taste. Bleh. I enjoyed seeing Ronnie. He can show his abs any time. :) Didn't Barry get a heard start on the Nuclear explosion though? He split before Ronnie exploded.
  9. Not only that, but Logan had a skunk and armadillo Also a hammer head shark, for crying out loud. That's a pretty interesting concept. And Darla did, oh look, elements. *yawn*. Yes, they were done nicely, but hardly unique.
  10. Speaking as someone who does Steampunk cosplay I have to say that I was underwhelmed by the crop of looks we had here. This is steampunk, not horror. I was really REALLY not a fan of the one with his head cut open with tubes sticking out of the brain. And I've said this before and I'll say this again, why must the face have sculpts on it? Why can't creative painting be acceptable? To face sculpt a normal face on a normal face, I don't get it. Check out the chaps called Steampunk Giraffe. They tour around a lot of the Steampunk flavored conventions. I'm not fond of their music but I think they really look the part of Steampunk Robots with just face paint. I HATED the winning look. I HATED that Julian dumped dirt all over his model. Ug!
  11. What about characters such as Ghost Rider and Moon Knight? Or Deadpool or Beast or a lot of the others? They are considered Superheroes or Anti-Heroes. Would they have fit the criteria? Ghost Rider especially, could be horror I guess, but really, he's a hero, so..... Also, why did everyone need to have a prosthetic face? Even if you have a human face there it has to be a prosthetic? Wha? They couldn't have done painting and do a character like Blink or Domino? Maybe these people really don't know much about superheroes? My favorite were the two top looks. I have no trouble with a dragon superhero, really. And I loved the smirk that Adam gave. Reminded me of Ash from Evil Dead, LOL.
  12. I watched and felt a little underwhelmed for the most part. But I have to say this, I loved Noah. I found him to be a lovely human being. And also, pretty handsome too. I think he'll do well with dances like the Rhumba, but I'm not sure I want to see a Jive. That's all about knees and I'm just not sure I want to see him being in that frustrating situation. I wish him the best and happiest life a human can possibly have.
  13. How is Grant Gustin 6'2"? It says so on IMDB. Grant appears to be 5'7" on TV. What the heck?
  14. Gah! You're right! I meant to write CE. *slaps forehead* I can't believe I wrote that! I blame being preoccupied, LOL.
  15. I thought I heard Adam say a Roman Dagger and 44 BC. Maybe I ought to go look at it again to get the date again. Julius Caesar was killed by Dagger on the stairs of the senate in Rome (which I've been to and have seen the site of his grave. Check mark off life accomplishment list). He was killed in 44 AD (Or BCE in current lingo.) Brutus, from what I've found was the last or one of the last to put a dagger in Caesar who then said "Et Tu Brutus?" "You TOO Brutus?" Could be that Brutus' dagger was the killing blow. So, if Adam is Julius Caesar and his final demise was from Brutus' dagger, could he be looking for the same weapon that finally killed him to be the one to end the curse? In which case, what can Henry hope for. The bullet? The gun that shot him? How do you find that?
  16. I'm not sure what happened, suddenly my DVR stopped recording this. I'm going to check the settings and all, but in the Washington DC area did it stop showing? I was enjoying the show.
  17. I have to say, I was largely unimpressed by almost every design other than the beautiful Jack and the Queen of hearts. Hubby and I laughed at the one guy who was deluded enough to think he should be in top looks. I forget which one it was, but it was really awful.
  18. Regarding Open Concept, I was talking about this with my husband recently while watching this show. Though I like spaciousness, some of this open concept stuff makes it all look like one gigantic room with a kitchen station, some couches in a corner, etc. There doesn't feel like there's any flow. Oh boy, can we start on those giant two story foyers? Waste. You have a whole section of the upper floor missing there, and then you are paying to heat all that open space that is useless. Same with cathedral ceilings. Exposed beams is nice but it's like standing in a warehouse. One of these days I'd like a buyer to say, "I want cozy and intimate." LOL I have to say, having grown up with hardwood floors, I prefer them. I actually really like laminate. That stuff is great, and doesn't stain like wood and marble. Also, stainless appliances are nice. I like white too. Quartz counters or recycled glass in blues would be my choice as well. I do like islands. I like interesting tile work too. I wish the twins would design a farmhouse style kitchen at some point. Those are lovely. Or go industrial. Didn't they give one guy an airplane wing desk? That's fun stuff. And I'll repeat Drew and Jonathan are so cute!
  19. Isn't Kaitlyn the one with the really inappropriate comments and jokes?
  20. I have a good relationship with my co-workers. Some I consider my friends. I don't want a romantic kind of relationship with them. Why can't this be on TV too? You CAN be friendly with someone without falling in love. So I actually hope that Henry and Jo DON'T have "that kind" of relationship together.
  21. Good grief, can't we just talk about the brothers, the show, and the remodels here? Why does "The Truth" need to be every other post?
  22. I have built gingerbread houses before, and generally, the more elaborate, the lousier they taste. You have to have strong gingerbread to hold up, otherwise they will bend if they are too soft. My Dad used to make really delicious houses, but then again, he made them cute and a moderate size, easy for purchasing and transport. Traditionally, you are supposed to use Royal Icing, so I knew that Bill was doomed when he said he used Italian Merengue. I had visions of it sliding around, and it did. What Erin did was very smart, using boiled sugar. That stuff will harden very quickly. Bill could have done that as well, his house wouldn't have caved in. Given the time constraints, for a ski chalet, he could have done an A frame house, which could have been really beautiful. There are a lot of A frame gingerbread houses out there. And then cover that sucker with candies. I'm not too disappointed that Erin won. I had hoped it would have been Naylet though.
  23. I remember the latest was when Tara won the small challenge and Bill was standing right next to her and did the "I can't believe this crap" eyeroll.
  24. It's too bad that whats her face on The Talk and that other hose on Great American Bake Off had to ruin that show and doom it from ever getting picked up. I really enjoyed the competition and Jeff Foxworthy was a great host. As for Bobby, I'm wondering how much he's trying to distance himself from Paula just to have a chance at a career. And I can't see how she could be picky with Bobby marrying someone from South America since she herself, while married, had an affair with another married man. Two marriages broken up so that she and Michael could get married. I like Bobby well enough. I think he's doing a pleasant job on the show, I'm just not sure it's all that memorable, though.
  25. You're right. They were really a great couple to watch. :)
