  1. Another “good Ray” episode I would add is “Hackidu” where he went in the rain to get the card Ally wanted and spent an absurd amount of money on it. A “bad Ray” episode for me is “Angry Sex”, where he makes Debra angry on purpose because the sex is better.
  2. It will especially depend what happens with Teresa and Joe. If she divorces him, they’ll definitely want to document that for next season and do a storyline on her being a single mom (maybe even with a spin-off series). And if she stays with him but he gets deported, would they follow them to Italy? The show is 100% dependent on Teresa, we saw that when she was in prison and they halted production, aside from the special, until she was released. If for some reason they can’t follow her to Italy if they do get deported, the show will definitely be canceled.
  3. From that same episode my favorite part has always been when Ray and Robert fondly reminisce about all the treats their grandma made in that canister until finally Debra shouts, “Hey fat people! Who cares?”
  4. I do love the scene in the episode when Robert interviews with the FBI and the agent receives Marie’s letter and reads it aloud. From the same episode, Marie confesses later that she went to the diner and thought about what happened over some banana cream pie. Then says “Actually, it was coconut. I don’t know why I changed it.” So something Marie would do haha!
  5. The thing I’ve never liked about the colorized versions is that her hair looks orange, unless that’s how it looked in real life.
  6. Pat: When you find a rodent in your basement, you don’t want to bang it with a shovel. But you do! The way Georgia Engel says this in her trademark baby voice makes it that much more hilarious. Marie: Your father and I have been married for 40 years. We’ve seen the lows and we’ve seen the highs. Frank: What day was the high? I can’t remember the exact quote but in the same scene of that episode Marie is talking about how no marriage is perfect and goes “Look how he eats.” It’s just the way she says it that cracks me up.
  7. Even if Joe helped with the initial setup of the store, as far as we’ve seen he doesn’t help her currently. It’s not like he’s in there manning the cash register or anything, but he expects her to be at the restaurant and cooking, waitressing, hostessting, or whatever. She helped him set up the place in that one episode where she put up the photographs. That would be a fair trade-off for what he did with Envy before it opened. But he hasn’t been involved since, as far as we know, and I don’t think it’s really fair that he expects her to be working at the restaurant, especially when she never (supposedly) wanted it in the first place.
  8. If Siggy’s goal is to sell her book, she’s not likely to sell many copies after the way she’s made an ass of herself here.
  9. Joe seems like he doesn’t take Melissa’s store seriously. I still don’t really get if she actually owns the store, or she’s just the face of the brand for the show, etc. so maybe if it’s not really hers that’s why he doesn’t care about it, but he seems like he thinks her passion for owning a boutique is silly or stupid. But it’s ok for him to own a restaurant despite having no previous experience? And she’s supposed to be willing to drop her stuff at the top of a hat to help with it? He never helps her with Envy so why should she help with or care about the restaurant?
  10. The only thing I can find is on Wikipedia it says there’s 2 more regular episodes left before the reunion. It lists the reunion as Part 1, which brings it to 14 episodes, but perhaps the reunion will be 2 parts, so 15 episodes?
  11. The Fashion Show was a great choice of episode to colorize. It was nice to finally be able to see what all those dresses looked like. And of course sunburned Lucy.
  12. They should just give Teresa a spin off and kill the rest of the show IMO. I don’t obviously condone Teresa’s criminal activity or the fact she can still live in that house, but she has always been the face of the franchise and for me the most interesting and watchable cast member. When she and Melissa are getting along, they’re both the most interesting and watchable people for me. The rest are boring, though I do like Margaret this season. But they have cycled many different newbies in and out since season 3 or 4, Kathy was kind of boring, the twins were annoying, Amber and her husband were vile, Siggy is unbearable, and Delores is boring and has no storyline other than being up Siggy’s ass all season. If another season happens, I say keep Margaret, get rid of Delores.
  13. If Nico returns next season, Capt. Lee should revoke his bosun rank and make him spend the season actually earning it. Perhaps that’s the reason Lee said Nico would have a place, if they’ve already discussed casting for next season?
  14. When looking at Wikipedia for a refresher on all the casts, he came in for a few episodes last season.
  15. I didn't start watching until season 3 so can't really name much of an all star cast but this would be mine: Deck crew: Bosun - EJ Deckhands - Dave (from what I had seen of him in flashback episodes, he seemed nice and a hard worker), Kyle, Baker, Connie for an alternate Interior: Chief stew - Amy Second stew - Maybe bring back Emily Third stew - Maybe Brianna, definitely not Rocky, Jen, or Sierra Chef - Ben, or Matt but only if he stepped it up with the food For this cast, this is who I'd like to see or not see return next season, if there is one: Captain Lee - He'd obviously return and while I think he may have phoned in some of his witticisms and one-liners this season, I generally find him amusing. It just wouldn't feel like Below Deck without Captain Lee. Kate - I am not the biggest fan of Kate and I felt she too was phoning it in this season. She seems very bored and over it. I also don't think she is all that great at her job, she is good at catering to the guests, but her parties are really lame. She is not always the nicest to her stews or the rest of her staff. She seems condescending a lot of the time with her talking heads, like she thinks she's better than everyone else. Sometimes her one-liners are clever and funny, but I think she comes off as almost a little too impressed with herself sometimes. She knows the witty remarks are her schtick and she milks it for all it's worth. It's become stale at this point and she doesn't have much else to offer beyond that. I wouldn't mind seeing a new chief stew, to be honest. Matt - As I said, he should only come back if he can step it up with the food. Apart from that, he is easily the nicest and most temperamental chef they've ever had. Brianna - Overall I would say no. She was okay at her job but IMO not outstanding, for example the way Amy was. I even think Emily was a better stew. Brianna is not only just average at her job, but she doesn't make for good TV. Her personality is too boring. I would be indifferent to her returning. I wouldn't be mad about it, but I think they can find better stews, who are better at their jobs but also more interesting. Nico - No. I don't think he's mature enough for this job and don't think he should have been promoted to bosun. He has many personal issues he needs to work out at home. I think he needs time to mature. EJ - I would really like to see EJ return. He got annoying sometimes with his "cool beans" and his other odd little things he said, but overall I thought he contributed a lot while he was there. Unlike Nico, he's very mature and able to handle the job. I had a lot of respect for him when he said he didn't pursue anything with Baker because he knew it wouldn't be professional. *ahem Nico* He seemed like he was able to teach the deck crew a lot. He's a hard worker. He's kind of cute too, in this dorky sort of way. Jen - No. She clearly wasn't fit for this job. Baker - I would love to see her back. She's a hard worker and doesn't cause drama. She probably won't come back though because she doesn't make enough interesting TV. Kyle - Aside from his weird food issues, I generally like him and find him interesting. But he has some personal issues he should sort out, when he gets along with everyone he is enjoyable to watch but when he gets angry and nasty like he did with Jen (over something so stupid too, "you're dead to me," lol because she stuck a clean fork in your gravy?!) I want him off my screen.
  16. I wonder if he’s allowed to though. Because doesn’t Bravo “hire” the guests? And they are contracted to be there for filming? I wonder how much power Lee has there.
  17. Nico is gross. Not 5 minutes after he broke up with his GF to start “dating” Bri, he’s commenting on someone else’s fiancée. Why does he bother having girlfriends if he doesn’t seem to want to limit himself to just one person? I didn’t like how Kate basically implied Jen had to deal with the harassment from the guests because it happens in the yachting industry all the time. There’s a “certain way” to handle those guests? How about telling them to keep their hands off the crew? They don’t get excused just because they are paying for the trip (and they aren’t even paying for it anyway). These guests were rude AF lol Lousy tip too considering what a pain in the ass they were. It was, however, ridiculous delaying them 45 minutes to get to the beach because they didn’t get it set up properly.
  18. I don’t think it’s cool at all what Bri did and I don’t think her being single gives her a free pass, but it kind of is perfect how she basically did to Nico what he did to Melissa. The idiot dumped someone who cared for him for a brief meaningless fling lololol I wonder if Nico was aware that Bri only wanted a fling or he thought it was a serious thing. I’m going to assume once the season ended they stopped hanging out. I will say, however, Nico has been outspoken about his history of infidelity. Presumably his girlfriend knew this about him (maybe not) so if you know that’s how the guy is, you know what you’re signing up for. However, he’s still a selfish tool. Lauren really dodged a bullet last season. It’s a good thing Bri didn’t want to fully commit to him because otherwise she’s equally stupid if she didn’t realize he’d probably also cheat on her too. They’d been “dating” for not 24 hours when the next guests arrived and he was talking about the primary’s GF. Gross. I’m going to assume the reshuffling of bunks was producer manipulation, and they just made Kate do the delegating to look like it was her idea. Kate is being pretty awful, is she allowed to give the stews different length breaks? But on the other hand, Jen takes way longer to do everything. I can’t believe she really thinks she works the hardest. The longest does not equal the hardest. Aside from Bri’s fling with Nico, she otherwise acts professional and she tried to tell Jen in the nicest, most delicate way possible what she could do to improve and Jen ran away immediately. While Kate isn’t exactly the nicest person all the time, I think Jen was far out of line speaking to her boss the way she did, questioning her authority, etc. They should give her a plane ticket home and make Bruno a stew. Or hire a new stew in her place. At this point she’s only being kept around for shenanigans. I like EJ and Baker together. However EJ needs to finally tell Nico where to shove it. The only reason Nico thinks he runs the boat is because no one has had the balls to tell him he doesn’t. When he was running the crew meeting that would have been the opportunity for EJ to interject and say that was his job to run meetings, etc. Lee should also have Nico stop being part of the prep meetings. I’m pretty sure last season Nick mocked Trevor who was the senior/lead deckhand, now he acts like that means he runs the boat. I don’t get why he didn’t just stay at home this season and deal with all these issues. I hope he sees what an ass he’s been all season and reevaluates himself. These next charter guests look like they will be insufferable. The girl is just plain Paris Hilton shallow and dumb. Dating an old grandpa for his money and making condescending remarks the whole time. Oh but she’s “hot” so all the guys drool over her. Seriously? An ugly personality quickly destroys a pretty face. Idiots.
  19. It’s interesting to note that none of the newbies have been given individual threads this season. They’re not interesting enough.
  20. I’m going to guess Nico wasn’t informed of EJ to amp up the drama. In a normal setting I’m sure Lee would have said something. They would have been better off probably just firing Chris if they didn’t have the room. It’s not like he does anything anyway. But producer shenanigans of making him sleep in the crew mess makes for good TV plus a little twist of the knife before letting him go I guess.
  21. They know they can get away with it because people are tuned in to watch and it's their big opportunity to score lots of ad money. But I agree, I hate that they actually cut scenes out just to make room for stupid commercials.
  22. He had no qualms about recording lines like "I go down on my knees, I'm here to please" in Falling, so I don't think Trent is going to play it too safe.
  23. This isn't really relevant to the episode but perhaps the reason why Kate is the way she is is because from reading the first chapter of her book she says she was basically a spoiled brat (she likens herself to Paris Hilton) before she got into yachting and she got into yachting because she wanted a way to travel around the world to exotic locations. I've also heard from other sources that she was hoping to meet a rich man on one of the charters. It doesn't sound like her desire to get into the yachting industry was to serve people but based more on the pay, chance of meeting hot and rich guys, and the exotic travel locations. That might explain why she is so insincere when serving the guests, because she probably really wishes she was one of them.
  24. Maybe Sierra should go into some kind of health and fitness career, like being a yoga teacher or something, since she's all about "positive vibes." She mentioned early in the season that she had some kind of juicing business and that she got into yachting only like 3 months before. I smell a producer plant. And maybe she took the gig to help pay bills or do free promo for her juicing company. Yep Kyle got the mother of his child pregnant for a second time while he was supposed to be caring for Ashley during her transition/recovery. Swell guy.
