  1. She said that she had paid $2,000 for it and Kyle bought it for $1,000.
  2. Kyle buying an engagement ring off of Kate was one of the tackiest things I've ever seen.
  3. I don't believe that Bravo thought letting us see Ro, Ashley, or Ben's brother would really drive ratings. More like I think the storyline this year was driven more towards the crew's personal lives and they thought bringing their SOs on the boat might make things interesting.
  4. Kyle makes no sense. He says Ashley is the love of his life and he proposes to her yet they have had an on/off relationship for 2 years, he tries to go on a date with a coworker, AND he knocks up the mother of his child a second time. Why would you do any of those things if you claim someone is the love of your life? Shame, because I think Kyle is good looking and generally a cool guy when he's not being a dick, but he's clearly got issues, one of them being anger control.
  5. Kate had the right to be annoyed that her stews were slacking but she was starting to take it too far IMO, like physically tying Sierra's radio to her wrist which she blatantly said was hurting her wrist. Why not just tell them to keep it clipped to their skirts at all times and stop taking it off? The way the guys handled it with Lauren was funnier and I think she got the message after being teased about it.
  6. Honestly I think because the guests were so low maintenance, polite, and drama free they needed to amp up the crew drama to make things interesting. I'd have rather seen the guests' trip to the baths than the stupid walkie talkie drama. And I don't know if Kyle is still pissed at Sierra's queen comment, but he needs to calm down with his resentment towards her. Don't know if it's being played up for the cameras though because they seemed fine when they were having a conversation about the cooler plus it looks like next week he proposes to Ashley. I don't see why he's still be upset over her rejecting him at this point, other than manufactured drama.
  7. I voted to fire Kelly and Vicki. The whole cast maybe aside from Meghan and possibly Shannon could use a rehaul but I think Kelly is just plain unlikeable and doesn't fit in with the others, they clearly don't like her or want to film with her. And Vicki is beyond repair at this point. None of the other women want to film with her after everything she has done. With the way she talked to Andy at the reunion she deserves to get her ass kicked to the curb IMO. The 2 of them have made the show so unnecessarily negative. I have only seen seasons 1, 9, 10, and 11 of the show so no idea who any of the bring backs are except Jeana. I'd maybe opt to bring back any of the ones from the first season like Jo or Kimberly or maybe Laurie. But frankly the show either needs to be canceled or most of the entire cast needs to be replaced with new faces. It is so obvious that none of the women like each other in real life enough to want to film with each other. The last 2 seasons have felt so gross to watch.
  8. I thought Kate was just being sarcastic/funny when she said that.
  9. It's so ironic to me how they were giving Trevor so much shit all season long about the senior deckhand thing and now they are acting like it's such a huge deal that Nico has been promoted to one. Is it a meaningful position or just a useless title? Make up your minds. I can't even say that being "stranded" on the beach for an extra hour is a first world problem, but more like #1PercenterProbz. *eyeroll*
  10. Yeah I thought the crew had guests coming on board the next day so why did Ben and Emily get to go off the boat to a hotel? I just do not get someone who says that a person is the love of their life but even considers going on a date with someone else. To be fair, I'm not so sure Kyle is pisses at Sierra because she rejected him. I think at first he was mad at her for the way she acted on their date and then she came out with the queen comment and that really irritated him. In some cultures it's considered attractive to have crooked teeth, there's even people in places in Asia that have surgery done specifically to make them crooked. Maybe Emily doesn't mind her teeth that way. I think Ben was so concerned about the flowers because he probably spent a ton of money on them. "I want Emily to enjoy them" translates to "I want her to get my money's worth out of them." Maybe production even played a part in this and ordered a big bouquet on purpose to annoy the crew. The apology song was so unnecessary. But on the other hand it allowed us to get to see Kelley and Nico shirtless so I ain't mad.
  11. I didn't sense that Kate was jealous, more like annoyed, especially because he was distracting Emily from doing her work and then when Kate tried to reprimand her Ben stuck his nose in to defend his GF of 5 minutes when it's Kate's business to make sure her stews do their jobs. There was also the incident from the previous episode with the conch when he served it just because Emily said it was good, even though Kate was correct in not serving it and she is higher up than Emily. I'd be annoyed too. Hell I'm annoyed with Bemily just watching it on TV. Imagine living on a tiny boat with that. I'd throw myself overboard. You forgot to mention that Kelley banged the tinder into the boat. It's unclear if he caused any real damage but it's obviously a mistake that could have potentially caused damage to the boat. I don't think Lee expects him to not make mistakes but his issue is that he keeps making them, a lot of them, and he also doesn't have good leadership or managerial skills. His crew, perhaps with the exception of Kyle, doesn't respect him.
  12. Emily and Ben are starting to grate with their puppy love, "we've only been dating for 5 minutes but we're so in love" schtick. I don't know if Kelley's crush on Emily was fabricated for the show or what, but I thought it was really insensitive and a dick move of Ben to ask him to go pick up the flowers he ordered for a girl he knew Kelley liked. They are YOUR flowers. Go pick them up yourself. I can't understand why someone as sophisticated as Emily claims she is is Gaga over Ben. Kate had to basically hold Ben's hand for him as SHE ordered the first set of flowers then tell him to ask her out, now he needs someone else to go pick up her birthday flowers. The awkward way he asked for a kiss on the first date and the dropping of trou just makes him so... ew. How can she see all this and still want to be with him? I just do not get it at all. They're both proper English people, but that's about the only chemistry between them that I'm seeing. I still think this whole thing is put on for the show. I also agree with others about the choice of flowers being a dumb idea. Where did he expect her to put those things? I don't understand why Kate couldn't have just told Emily she was needed on service or to turn her radio on instead of acting like she had to be the hero and come in and save the day. Probably so she could use it against Emily later. Nico and Lauren were insufferable this episode. Lauren just has no respect for the boat at all, at least not the interior because it's not where she primarily does her job. I think Nico is cute and overall probably a sweet guy, but he's just so freaking immature. He gets riled up too easily and doesn't know how to control his anger (like how he almost got into a fight on the bus with Trevor the Hair Model). He needs to get a dictionary and look up what the word "boss" means. Yes Nico, Kelley is not the greatest bosun who ever lived. But he's still your boss and you still need to do what he tells you to do. You can't get in his face and start yelling at him like he's your equal. He hasn't asked you to do anything that goes beyond your job requirements. STFU. I'm really glad Kelley finally had the balls to put him in his place instead of continuing to take his attitude. Poor Kelley. I think he's really trying his best, now that Emily is no longer a distraction. I think he's truly trying to focus on the job and impress Lee but he just keeps making silly mistakes. But if Lee knew Kelley was inexperienced at the job he shouldn't have appointed him in the first place. I place part of the blame on Lee.
  13. I don't believe Captain Lee really writes his own blogs but regardless the crew really should know better about behaving on the boat, knowing he's going to see all this later. How dumb can they really be? Now does anyone know if Captain Lee actually has the ability to fire anyone or does only Bravo get to do the hiring and firing? Because he claims in this blog he supposedly wrote that Ben, Nico, Kyle, and Lauren would all have been fired. Let's see if any of them return next season. I don't count on any of the deck hands returning but Ben has been part of the crew since the beginning, hasn't he? Will be interesting to see if he returns next season.
  14. I have to agree they seem to be going for that angle a lot this season, first making a big deal about Kate dating a woman, then Kyle being bisexual and dating a transgendered woman, plus there were quite a few gay charter guests and the drag show this season. It's like they think the viewers will be "shocked" at these revelations or something and TBH I don't think anyone cares that Kate is dating a woman or whatever. They think this kind of thing is still supposed to be shocking and interesting to us and it's not. I don't care that Kate is dating a woman or that Kyle is bisexual. In general they are focusing too much on the crew relationships, like everyone going after Emily. Snooze. I watch the show to see how people work on a yacht and maybe see some obnoxious or demanding charter guests give them a bit of a challenge. The crew's romance lives aren't really why people watch the show. It's not Vanderpump Rules.
  15. I still think they are just going along with the narrative of the show. Anyone can post pics and tweets that look like you're with someone. It will be easier to tell when the show is over and see if they still keep it up.
  16. I doubt it, honestly. That seems like a big risk just for a few minutes of attention. His throat could have swelled up or something. If he's only semi allergic it's possible he thought it wouldn't affect him, especially since it was only 1 tiny piece of sea urchin.
  17. Kyle was an ass in this episode. I don't get why he's so pissed off at Sierra for not being into him when he already had something going on back home? WTH? She shouldn't have called him a "queen" though. Kyle mentioned having a bad childhood, perhaps maybe he grew up with an alcoholic in his family or was abused. It could explain a lot of why he is the way he is and why he left home early, why he's never been able to just settle down somewhere, etc. Count me in the group of people who didn't need to know what Kyle needed the master suite for. And I don't really care if he asked permission or that Kate said it was ok. I don't think the crew should be allowed to use a guest room at all. And they'd have to clean it again before the next guests arrived. Ben and his brother sound so identical it was hard to tell who was talking if the camera didn't show it. Wonder what Emily thought when she saw Ben naked on the dock? I don't get why if Kyle knew he was allergic to seafood, even if at an "only sometimes" level, why he still ate the urchin? Is the deck crew really going to try to blame the broken wall panel on Kate? Can't wait to see Capt Lee hand their asses to them next week.
  18. Bravo seems to love their psychics. There was a slew of them on the last few seasons of the Real Housewives. They're always fakers too, with the exception of Alison DuBois. Will this be the Yacht Charter from Hell?
  19. No but apparently there's psychics in the next episode!
  20. Don't forget sex. Because it's been 5 months.
  21. Yep that episode bugs me too. When they think Ally is the one being bullied Debra acts like they shouldn't step in at all and that she should deal with it by herself. Then when they find out Ally is the bully she doesn't seem to care very much. Like she isn't appalled that her daughter is bullying someone. Debra's rationale in that whole episode made no sense, what parent would seriously handle those situations like that?
  22. His name is Kyle lol I thought it was funny when Emily called him Ryan. I was as confused as Sierra about who Ryan was lol On paper Emily and Ben seem like a good match, personality wise, but the whole thing seems made up for the show. Until this episode Ben showed no romantic interest in Emily. And the flowers basically came from Kate. I wouldn't want someone giving them to me out of pity. Then his nervousness when asking her out seemed OTT. Prior to that he never had an issue talking to her. It just seems fake to me to create drama because Kelley is also interested in her.
  23. IMO it's both. There's episodes where Ray does treat her pretty poorly such as making her angry on purpose for sex or taping a football game over their wedding video. He also doesn't help her very often with the housework (except the vacuum cleaner episode) or with the kids. Then there are episodes where she is acting irrationally, like the episode about being late all the time, he tells her they're leaving at a certain time and she gets mad when he goes without her because she wasn't ready or the episode where Ally is being bullied and she expects the kid to deal with it herself. IMO that makes it more realistic instead of one always being right and the other wrong.
  24. She's probably referring to the fact that, unlike a lot of men, he cares about being part of his daughter's life and providing child support instead of abandoning her/them. Not exactly something that's gonna make her want to go out with him though, hey I got my date pregnant on the first date! I think the Ben and Emily thing is made up for a storyline. They had a cute friendship going but all of a sudden Ben turns into jelly around her? It's like it came from nowhere. And am I the only one who's just plain creeped out because he's like so much older than her?
  25. Shannon forcing drinks on Kelly was way out of line but just because she ordered her a drink doesn't mean Kelly has to drink it. She can order something else and drink that. Not only was Tamra texting that photo to Kelly super Christian of her, it was also super middle school of her. That picnic in the garden looked lovely. I could feel the secondhand embarrassment watching Meghan and Kelly asking random strangers their last name. Guess she's just trying to live up to her nickname of Meghan PI.
