I love Thanksgiving, so, being sick on the day is my own personal nightmare. Poor Gene! I felt for him, and I loved the stories and everyone trying to cheer him up. Stomach bugs are the worst!!!!!!!!!

I was surprised with this, too, with what I've read about how adopting out of birth order can be tricky for families to navigate. Tess and Annie got an older sister out of nowhere, and there was no struggle/jealousy/adjustment/Deja's traumas taking up Randall's and Beth's time issues from them whatsoever. Not realistic. Agreed.

I've never watched this, but, I watched Lottie's episode. I love her; she is a delight. Going back and seeing her 'inspirational quotes' was hilarious. Prue telling her, "You just have to be not the worst." "That really spurs you on, doesn't it?" LMAO

New episode tonight:

So happy for Peter - he crushed this week; he did so well. His decision to use a cake mold and cut the cubes after was smart. I have really warmed to Dave - he's great. His showstopper was awesome. Chocolate galore and gooey, oozy caramel (Paul was right - the precision on that was amazing, it runs out, but, it's not too thin), and a coffee/chocolate biscuit base. Heaven to me. I figured those two would make the final. Would love to see either of them win it all. Laura, eh. She's not my favorite. Her constant drama irritates a smidge. I also want to echo others who have said they are tired of seeing so much passion fruit; I agree wholeheartedly. Excited for next week...!

Richard Schiff was just released from the hospital. Great news.

That reminds me of an episode of Strong Medicine, S5 E1, when they incorrectly referred to dextromethorphan as DMX, instead of DXM, multiple times.

+1 to Śhaun/Lea seeming like friends, not lovers. No romantic chemistry.

I thought I was the only one.

So glad this show is back.

Nooooooooooo, Lottie!!!!!!!!!!!! She could have maybe saved herself if the flavors of her showstopper were better. Boo, hiss!!!!!!!

That is 11x08 - "A Shot in the Dark." A girl comes in with vomiting, and the parents hate County, and want her transferred, and the mom is an idiot who keeps stalling treatment until her husband can get there. By the time a transfer is arranged, the girl's condition has worsened quickly, and Abby has to get Dubenko to see her, and she turns septic and needs emergency surgery. They catch the appendicitis in time before rupture, the dad comes in freaking out, even Dubenko being the Chief doesn't calm his fears. I get it, but, the parents were complete assholes. They considered everyone incompetent. The dad chewed out Abby on the phone for trying to do her job, and both of them treated all of the staff like shit. Rewatching the story line made me mad all over again. lol

Yes, they could choose whatever fillings they wanted, did not not have to be Japanese. I was very happy that Lottie redeemed herself from last week. She did so well. My predictions for who makes it to the final:

I love my Sons of Anarchy Collector's Edition Book, and my Orange is the New Black cookbook. -
They meant that the filling was dry.

As a disabled person, thank you for saying this. Lest we forget, the Americans with Disabilities Act was only passed in 1990. 30 years ago. The Civil Rights Act, 1964. Unfortunately, there will always be discrimination - disability, race...that's reality. -

I don't need to see Randall find Laurel, we did it with William. -

Toby works in IT. Holy crap, Laurel might still be alive! -
Henry ended up giving up research and became a neurologist.

As a self-professed chocoholic, I love frosting, but, not on brownies. A good brownie doesn't need it.

Faux Life: Things That Happen On TV But Not In Reality

One thing that always takes me out of a fight scene is when someone is thrown through glass (window/table) and there's not a scratch on them.- 8.4k replies

Not to mention, Alex setting the apartment and entire building on fire, which killed people, in Season 13. Sam and Sam's grandma highly suspected Alex did it on purpose; he should have had to answer for that. Sam just sent him away to that school for troubled kids, and that was it.

I loved Bob and Linda wanting to be 'nightclub people,' and Bob cheating on his own restaurant kitchen. lol
