I just saw this interview with Eric Wallace. I don't think that it was posted here. He comes off as a genuinely caring guy who is passionate about the show and creating a safe environment for the cast.

I really hope the cast enthusiasm indicates improvements on the screen. I would be thrilled if Eric Wallace is able to give the show a shot of energy and improve the storytelling.

They did give her that ill fated romance with Jay after Ronnie died. II do think that it is odd that they haven't given her a romance since. I wish they would, if only to give us a break from the constant revision of the KF story. Good to see that I am not the only cynic. 🙂 I hope it happens, but from the publicity pieces, I don't get the impression that Keiynan Lonsdale is particularly interested in returning.

I rather they give KF/Caitlin a romance rather trying to give KF fake relationships with the other members of Team Flash.

Not sure what I think about Candice's dress, but she looks pretty.

I am not sure that Lyta is really dead, but regardless, she has been pretty much marginalized on the show.

Mahershala Ali as Blade? Excellent casting. I look forward to seeing the rest of the cast. I hope that we see talented younger African American actors like Jharrel Jerome get a shot at the supporting roles. Agreed. Look at Angelina Jolie. A few years ago, I doubt that she would have given a Marvel movie even a sniff, but she is a A-list star who has struggled to open movies in recent years. I think Maleficent was her biggest and only box office hit. Taking on a leading role in MCU is an opportunity to revive her reputation and make some money at the same time.

Gawd, Arlene! I didn't see that one coming at all. Poor Quiet Ann and her baby.

I still don't like Candice's outfit, but her legs look amazing. I don't think I ever was able to walk in heels that high. What is up with Grant's shirt? That was not a good idea. I hope that you all are right about the indications that there are good things ahead for Cisco.

I forgot to mention Blade. I was surprised at the reboot, but happily so because I thought the Wesley Snipes version sucked. I just hope they cast someone good in the role.

I will also concur that Natalie Portman returning to Thor is ridiculous. Maybe they are bringing her back to kill her off so that Thor can move on with Valkyrie or someone else. There is no space for Jane in the franchise. I thought Hemsworth wanted Taika Waititi to kill off all of Thor's buds so he could have a fresh start. Why not just keep moving forward? Also, I am not looking forward to that Black Window movie. Like Jeremy Remy, I have never found Scarlett Johansson charismatic enough to carry a movie. And besides, we all know how it ends.

I just heard the news! Tony Leung Chiu-wai will be the villain in The Eternals. He is one of the greatest actors of his generation in any country! This is so freaking exciting. Just like it was a sin that people in the U.S. didn't know who Michelle Yeoh was so many years, it was similarly horrific that people don't know who Tony Leung is. Finally he is getting the exposure that he deserves. I am also thrilled that Lauren Ridloff has been cast in The Eternals. She is so freaking talented and I love seeing her blow up. From Children of the Lesser God on Broadway to The Walking Dead and now a Marvel superhero!

I completely agree with your perspective except I think that the story does work. It works because Peter can't just shrug this off like Tony could. He doesn't have Tony's years of experience and cynicism. Peter is young and still idealistic. He cares what people think about him and Spider-Man. How could he not? He sees himself as Tony's legacy and thought of the world thinking that Spider-Man/Peter is a bad guy means that they not only think badly of him, but badly of May/MJ, Tony/Pepper/Happy/Morgan, Stark Industries, and the Avengers. The movie is set up for Peter to fight to reclaim his reputation and expose Mysterio. It should be fun.

I just read that Eric Wallace said that Wally will be back to team up with Barry to fight one of The Flash's greatest villains.

So Sendhil is only in the first half? Damn. The first time they have a hot lickable villain and he isn't around for the whole season. Candice does seem enthusiastic about the upcoming season. Tom Cavanagh is playing yet another role, Pariah.

I like that there is more than one Big Bad. I wonder if the Reverse Flash is one or if he just appears for the Crisis. Regardless, the constant bad writing and poor storytelling has made me so cynical that I am not getting my hopes up. I, especially, don't like another version of Wells, but I think this might be popular with younger viewers.

I think introducing Ramsey through Caitlin means no or little GCPD set this season. Eh, we'll see.

Sendhil Ramamurthy is so handsome and a good actor. He is the hottest guy to hit the show since Kendrick Sampson. Frankly, I have heard Eric's spin from Helbing before, especially Iris' journalism being featured. I won't hold my breath. Hell, now even Kamilla is part of Team Flash. If Carlos isn't leaving, what the hell was last season's horrible getting rid of Vibe and "farewell" all about?

I don't like Candice's outfit. That haircut makes TC look 10 years younger.

Nice that there was appreciation of Candice's work and acknowledgement of the racist hate and bullying that she has endured over the years.

I wonder how they will write out Michonne. Will she be killed or will she leave or maybe be kidnapped? Then there are her children. Michonne and Ezekiel's romance is a surprise. I wonder how long it has been since his break up with Carol. Maybe there has been a time jump. I don't think that anything romantic is happening with Daryl and Carol. I think that Daryl's romance will be with Connie. Negan... *shakes head* At least with Danai gone, I can just watch YT clips of characters that interest me. A theater release of Rick's movie? I think that AMC has finally lost it.
