  1. I felt his accent was an integral component of his personality. All the way through this film, his accent served to remind the audience that all the wealthy and powerful people on the other side of this fight considered Omalu to be an ignorant and foolish African dummy. I can't prove this, but I think that when we hear someone speak English in a terribly stuttered form due to a terrible accent, we tend to think of them as "stupid" or "ignorant". Worse than that, we tend to hugely underestimate them. For me, this was one of the most enjoyable parts of this movie. All of Omalu's critics hugely underestimated him and that enabled him to give them a thorough ass kicking. I haven't seen an ass kicking like that in a very long time. It was hugely one-sided and deservedly so. I loved it! It was magnificent! Will Smith did a tremendous job. I have never seen anything like that before. He deserves all kinds of praise and adulation. He just did a wonderful, wonderful job! How and where else in this world do people without much wealth or power get reasonable justice? It doesn't happen very often. But that may be one reason why this movie felt so good to me. I know it wasn't real. But it just felt so good to see some people who were deserving get some justice even though they did not have the wealth or power to buy it (or steal it) like so many others do. Given that this doctor is based on a real man, I feel the need to say, "Praise be to this doctor in his real life". IMHO, he is a wonderful hero to all humanity. I loved learning about this doctor's struggle and the way in which he triumphed over fear and greed and ignorance.
  2. I don't know how this has played out over the history of this game. But it sure does seem logical to me that a poor player with an idol is not really much better than a poor player without an idol. I would guess that being able to use an idol successfully, would depend on many difficult factors. A player would surely need to have a fairly good social game in order to find out just when the tribe was about to vote them out. Seems to me that inexperienced or foolish players holding an idol are right up against the wall when it comes time for them to use their idol. Knowing when to use the idol seems like a skill that would require a whole lot of skills - "all of which need to work in harmony". (quote from Tom Selleck's movie, "Mr. Baseball" - a nice little film).
  3. Zeke is a little man with a big mouth (and when I say, "little", I'm not talking about his height). I strongly doubt he will make it much further in this game. Do you remember a recent confessional in which Zeke made fun of one of the members of some other tribe who was good to Zeke's tribe? Who behaves that way? In the game of Survivor, do you really think it's a good move to piss on one of your allies? I don't think that works out too well for much of the game. Zeke has just got almost nothing of what it takes to go deep into this game.
  4. I haven't been able to find any forum or sub-forum on this site where I can review a film that I've seen recently and then perhaps recommend people watch it or warn them away from it because it was a bad film - not enjoyable - not entertaining. I recently saw a few films and I thought one or two of them were just wonderful (E.G. Concussion 2015) and I'd like to ask if anyone could tell me where I could start a thread about a movie and then either recommend it to others because they may enjoy it or warn them away from watching it because it was just not entertaining or enjoyable). I'd like to find a forum or sub-forum here that allows people to post about films. I'm guessing the odds are there exists at least one such forum but I just can't find it. Can anyone tell me if there is an existing place on this site that will accommodate these kinds of threads? If not, can anyone suggest where I should start this kind of thread? I'm going to take a chance and write a review of "Concussion 2015" here. If it should turn out this post belongs in a different forum, I will then add it to that forum. Concussion 2015 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3322364/ I want to tell you about this wonderful film. IMHO, the most wonderful thing about it was the performance of Will Smith. I've never really liked him. I've always found him to be kind of annoying. But this film marks a complete turnaround in my opinion of Will Smith. He plays a character that has a very strong accent and is almost unrecognizable as "Will Smith". He did a fantastic job portraying this character. I rarely "root" for any character in a film. But I was completely taken with his character. I could imagine that when his character reaches the climax of this film, many of the audience members stand up and cheer. I watched this film on my TV at home. But when the film's climax arrived, I felt like standing up and cheering. A very rare experience for me. A film that hit me right between the eyes and that I found it to be intensely wonderful - really magnificent. This film is based on a true story about a doctor from Africa portrayed by Will Smith. His character develops before our eyes to be one of the most amazing doctors and one of the most amazing people on Planet Earth. Of course, that will likely seem to be a huge exaggeration to you. But near the end of the film, this doctor is offered a position that proves he is indeed one of the greatest doctors in this world. This film is about the way in which professional football players in America are dying from brain injuries sustained over a lifetime of blows to their heads. Someone once said there are only seven basic stories in the entire world and all stories are, in fact, a variation of one or more of these seven. This film represents one of the basic stories that I call "David v Goliath". This unsuspecting doctor learns that the brains of perhaps half of all NFL players who play in a number of positions are injured in such a way that these players are killing themselves at an incredible rate and at an age that is only around 45 or 50. The situation is an absolute disgrace - a complete outrage! The NFL is shown to have known a great deal about this problem for many years. But they continued to deny and cover up the truth for fear the truth could mean the end of football in America (as well as their multi-billion dollar revenue streams). As a result, IMHO, the NFL has been responsible for hundreds and hundreds of "wrongful deaths" and the damages that could be collected from the resulting class action lawsuits is so large that it could probably bankrupt the NFL. The NFL big shots never seemed to consider they could have worked together with this doctor to either solve this problem or greatly reduce it to some acceptable level - perhaps by wearing some new and improved kinds of helmets and possibly introducing some rule changes. But the NFL big shots behaved just as you might expect. They assumed this problem would mean the end of the NFL and there was no solution to this problem. That was just so very stupid. Seems to me, their decision was based on fear and greed and the result was very similar to them committing hundreds of "murders" or perhaps "wrongful deaths" of so many NFL players. This dynamic was never addressed in this film. But it seems to me there are some important questions here: "Why was the NFL never willing to even consider there may have been some way(s) to prevent these deaths and the destruction of the NFL was never really inevitable?" So why did they behave the way they did? IMHO, the way they reacted was either crazy or incredibly stupid. It was inevitable this choice would wind up costing them far more money and far more human misery than was ever necessary. This is a huge story. On the one hand we have David. He is a brilliant and tremendously well educated doctor. But his accent is so strong and he is a black man and all through the film, although nothing is said, I got the very strong impression that all the NFL lawyers and NFL big shots really just considered him to be an "ignorant foreign n*****". The N-word was never used in this film but it was my feeling that it was always present - just under the surface. IMHO, this issue was a large part of the story and it was present throughout the entire story. This doctor received a great deal of abuse. But he never deserved any of that abuse. The people who wanted to silence him were so powerful, they were able to enlist the FBI to file bogus criminal charges against him and they started to railroad him right out of his chosen profession (the medical profession). Why? Because he believed his profession compelled him to tell the truth. That was the long and short of it. That was his real crime. He was compelled to tell the truth. Well, as the film proceeds, huge pressures build up on both sides. On the side of the players and their families, there was a huge buildup of fury and financial as well as human damages - so strong these pressures became unstoppable. But how will things unfold? Will the NFL criminals be able to silence this doctor before the public understands just what is going on? Or will the NFL bosses be taken down like the Tobacco bosses were taken down? Remember how those bastards lied to Congress? Remember how they were caught? It was one of the very rare yet very sweet moments of justice in America and it was truly a very great moment. This film shows how this doctor got his justice and how he got justice for everyone who had been lying in devestation. It showed some truly great and wonderful moments. I loved this film. I love the "David v Goliath" story. I've always loved that story.
  5. Someone said her reaction made her a "poor loser" or "bad sport" or something like that. I can certainly understand why people would feel that way and I have to admit that is true. However, another way to look at that is this lady has a tremendously high opinion of herself and enormous confidence and for some reason, I really like that and anticipate she will make a big success of her life. I certainly hope she does that. I believe she has a great dream and that she deserves to make her dream come true. After all, it seems to me that most people who make a big success for themselves and their families seem to have a very high opinion of themselves. That tends to make them seem like A-Holes to many other people. But it also maybe helps them to achieve success. For those of you who did not see or did not remember what she said about her family and success, I think she expressed those opinions in Episode 6 (one week ago). I cannot explain why. But I really very much like and respect this lady and truly wish her the very best of everything in her life. If anyone deserves that, it seems to me that she deserves the best. Her back story really tugs at my heart and I very much want to read that she was able to break free of her background. I would love to have met her and to have kissed her. IMHO, she is just truly wonderful. You go Michaela! Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead! I suppose this debate about Michaela can and will go on for a very long time. But I think my opinions may well be based on the fact that I really like this lady very much and respect what she appears to have achieved in her life so far and hope she will achieve much more. I do no t know hardly anything about her. But I would have to guess she was born into an under-privileged family and an under-privileged lifestyle and that she has had to put up a mighty struggle to achieve most anything that she has achieved so far in her life.
  6. Thank you for correcting me. Somehow I got it into my mind that Day 36 happened after 6 people were voted out. But of course, it occurs after 12 people are gone. Usually someone is voted out every 3 days - not every 6 days. So, it was my mistake.
  7. The only woman who really gets to me now is Hannah. I find myself intensely disliking her. She may well win this season, but if she does, IMHO, it will largely be due to the fact that she is so incredibly annoying and such a huge pain in the ass that very few of the other contestants want anything to do with her. I can't believe that any of them get any enjoyment by sitting next to her. I'm not going to explain all the tiny reasons why I think her personality is so awful. I'll just say that in my opinion, all of them lead to one extremely nasty and annoying personality. It would make me so happy if we could dump ten Hannas in exchange for a single Michaela.
  8. If I didn't know better, I would never guess that Jessica is a District Attorney (or is it "Assistant" District Attorney?). I get a very strong impression that her mind lacks the necessary "sharpness" that enables D.A.'s to cut through any and all of the crap that comes out of peoples' mouths and enables them to cut straight to the truth. My opinion in this matter was first formed when she betrayed Ken who was trying to be nothing but honorable to her and continued when the audience was shown those incredibly bizarre tattoos on her back. My opinion then became much stronger during tonight's episode and I would expect that she will be voted out very soon. Sometimes this game of Survivor just makes very little sense to me and it seems like the audience has to work incredibly hard - just to understand a few basic issues during the game. Tonight's episode seems to me to be such an episode. When it was over, I found myself sitting on my Living Room floor and asking myself, "What the Hell just happened and why did that happen?" By the way, I would have expected the producers to have made a bunch of noise about Jessica's "Legacy Advantage". After all, unless I am mistaken about the dates, she should have been given the "official" Legacy Advantage either last night or during the previous episode.
  9. My first reaction is to just skip over all the emotions associated with a Superwoman like Michalea (I think I will just call her Superwoman from now on - or maybe SW for short) and believe that some wonderful things will happen for her as a result of her behavior on this show. I would love to see her achieve her dream (which I think was that someone from her family is finally able to achieve success). She is wonderful! She richly deserves to achieve all her dreams and I would hope that somehow, someway, someone will recognize the tremendous quality possessed by this lady and somehow, she will be offered or will somehow find her role that will make her wildly successful! Damn! This woman is a wonder and I would hope and expect that even though she is feeling very pissed off and very betrayed, her loss of the game will prove to be of little consequence to her life because it will result in her being offered or being able to find her true calling in life that will result in her having all kinds of success - above and beyond winning this season of Survivor. I can't think of another contestant in recent memory who deserved the success that Superwoman deserves. What an amazing lady! What an amazing job someone did by casting her. I sense that most people are bitterly disappointed with this episode and I can understand why. However, I hope things will turn out in such a way that this episode will come to be recognized as one of the very best of the series because it will result in Superwoman finding the true success and her true life's calling that she really deserves!
  10. IMHO, Ken has a terrific intellect. Did you hear what he said about what Figgy expected to hear from Taylor in response to Probst's marriage suggestion? That was really quite amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. What a brain!
  11. A few years ago, I used to rail against Probst and I made many posts explaining that I really despised the jerk and despised the way in which he hosted this show. It was all a big waste of time however, since he is the Exec Producer, there was very little that my complaining could ever accomplish but after reading all the negative comments that all of you have made in this thread, it all comes back to me and I feel the need to try and explain my POV as to why he is so terrible. IMHO, a few years before Survivor ever became popular, Probst had a very mediocre life and did not seem to be very happy with his tiny life in the TV entertainment business. He was a very small fish in a very large ocean. But then, when Survivor became massively popular, his life changed in a way that very few of us will ever experience. He changed. He used to be sitting at the bottom of the world and all of a sudden, he was sitting on top of the world. I suppose that I have to admit to the truth and say that when I think about the way in which his life changed, I have to admit to being full of envy. Who would not envy his life and the way in which he became so massively wealthy and happy producing this show? Of course, in a way, one could say he just got incredibly lucky. He didn't create this show. He just hopped on board of Mark Brunett's idea and rode Brunett's idea into a huge success. At any rate, it seems to me that his whole life became entwined with Survivor. He just ate, drank and slept Survivor. He keeps repeating this show is just the most wonderful thing that ever happened on this planet or any other planet. I have to wonder just what he will do when the show is cancelled. Seems to me, he may very well figure that when this show is over, his life will be over. I don't know that for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if when the show is cancelled, he will go into a terrible tail spin and depression. After all, he has tried to do other things in the past but how could anyone ever even approach the level of success this show has achieved? So, when he says things like, "Nothing will bring out the true nature of peoples' character like Survivor!", it seems like he really believes that and that he believes this show is just the biggest and best and most important thing that has ever happened - not only in his life - but also in the history of the world. He really believes that Surivior is the most important thing to ever happen in this world. So ... who knows what will happen when the show is cancelled? I sure don't know. But I wouldn't look forward to living Probst's life after the show is cancelled. Truth is, I would fear for his future. Of course, if the show continues to be as entertaining as last night's episode, it may very well continue for years to come. I found last night's episode to be enormously entertaining and I will continue to watch for as long as they can maintain that wonderful level of entertainment. Of course, I do tune out to much of what Probst has to say. But over the past few years, I have found that much of what he says has become very entertaining. Mostly because he behaves like such a jerk, it is very entertaining to see him make such a fool of himself. I know that many of you will not agree with my opinions. But I thought last night's show was just one of the very best I've seen in recent history. If they can continue to produce shows with that level of entertainment, I can't imagine when this show will be cancelled.
  12. Never heard that before. I really, really like it!
  13. That could be appropriate considering she portrayed the "Waitress" character in her 2007 movie "The Waitress". http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0473308/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_16 I didn't think it was a very good movie. It was kind of sweet in places. But for some reason, the whole thing just never succeeded in carrying a coherent plot. It was a kind of silly movie. Keri could have done much better than this film.
  14. I love this show and I just watched a movie Keri was in with Edward Norton called Leaves of Grass. I loved that movie. It was a comedy but it almost made me weep to see how gorgeous Keri was in that movie and I got to thinking that I wasn't the man who married her. I can't imagine any man having that much happiness. Leaves of Grass won't appeal to everyone. It pokes a lot of fun at "red neck" humor and deals with Marijuana cultivation. But true admirers of Keri Russel will melt at how cute she is in this movie. I see that many people here are angered by the paps following them around. But I feel proud of them - proud of the fact that they do this TV show that most people think of as just a "little show" (but I think it's one of the three best shows on TV). To think that paps would follow them around taking pictures when all they are presently working on is just this "little show" makes me feel like they are terrific talents and terrific people that warrant paps. Just as long as the paps aren't getting in their way or bothering them, I don't feel angered by that behavior.
  15. Anything can mean nothing or nothing can mean anything. I must admit that I find myself in agreement with you. I really enjoyed the beginning of this show where Elliot was using his great intelligence and knowledge and skill to dispense justice to so many of the people in his life that he felt truly deserved some punishment. I know that it's not really correct for individuals to engage in "vigilante justice". But, in the context of a fantasy TV show, that was the main reason I loved this show. I could live vicariously through Elliot because I have spent my life creating computer software and often dreamed of using my abilities for all kinds of nefarious purposes. They were all just dreams but isn't that one of the reasons people like to watch TV? So they can dream without causing any harm? For example, the pedophile who ran an Internet cafe in the first episode. It felt so good to think people could use their "nerd-type" skills and experiences to dispense justice that way. Also, the man who was cheating on Krysta. She seemed like truly a good and caring person. She sure didn't seem to deserve having her life turned into shambles by that guy. It felt so good to see Elliot dispense his brand of justice to that guy. I thought that much of this show would proceed along those lines and I was a big fan. But then, it didn't proceed along those lines. AAMOF, it didn't seem to proceed along any lines that I could discern. I have to admit the possibility the problem may be I'm just not bright enough to understand his advanced artistic messages. Perhaps at some point, someone will explain just what is going on in a way I can understand and then ... I'll be able to watch the show in its entirety and put them into some context that I can enjoy. But until then, I think I better just leave the commentary to those people who feel comfortable with it. I sincerely wish you all the very best and hope some day I will be able to understand and enjoy this show again. The actors sure are terrific. I have very much enjoyed all their performances with very only one or two exceptions. For me, the only serious disappointment is Grace Gummer. But I don't want to start finding fault with her since the odds are that I could easily be wrong about my opinions of her acting.
  16. IMO, the best thing about this episode was the song, "The Moth Don't Care" by Aimee Mann. I had never before heard of Aimee Mann and I'm happy that to have learned about her. Apparently, her music has always been greatly admired by critics but she refused to take any B.S. from record companies and so she started her own record company and distribution business and has helped many other artists in the same position achieve success. When people refer to successful women, seems to me she must be a great example. I really like that song and plan to get the album its from. P.S. I did get the album. It's from 2002 and titled, "Lost in Space". It's wonderful. I can't understand why I had never before heard of Aimee Mann.
  17. Hello GenL, I had never imagined that anyone would try to fool the producers of this show in order to get free air fare. That seems like a very poor trade to me. Very poor. I would guess the people who did that must be very young. I'm guessing that in a situation like that, adults would behave very differently from teenagers or say people under 21. The reason? Anyone who would do that would be trading away their privacy (for their entire lifetime) just to get air fare. The value of those two things are not even close. Giving up your anonymity or your privacy for your entire lifetime is a very big deal as compared to an airplane ticket which is not a big deal - hardly not at all. There are so many ways to get from one city to another for a much lower cost than the value of your personal privacy. Well, of course, that is just my opinion. I suppose that if someone was desperate to get from once city to another ... so desperate they wouldn't even consider any of the future consequences, I suppose I could understand that. But, if you have ever had your personal privacy violated or understand what it could be like to do something that would follow you around for the rest of your life, you might reconsider doing something like that. I suppose that some people might find it worth the cost. Or maybe they just don't fully realize what that cost may entail several years from now?
  18. Hello. This is my first post in this thread. A friend recommended this show to me. I skimmed thru a few episodes and it seemed to me that almost all the episodes were very similar. In a way, most of them were almost identical. Seemed to me that most all of them work like this: A fairly attractive person (let's call them "A") contacts Nev and explains they've been talking to someone (call them "B") on the Net for several months or years and they think they're falling in love with that person although they've never met. Then A meets with Nev and we get to know them a little. Then, Nev arranges for the two people to meet and usually, we find that B has been lying either in a big way or a small way. In most cases, A is disappointed to find that B is either not the gender they said they were or that a few things or almost everything they have said turned out to be nothing but lies. In most episodes, A is extremely disappointed and angry. But then Nev usually helps the two people to come to some kind of understanding and when they part, they may not be friends or lovers, but A is not as angry as they were when they first met B. But then this episode was very different. I won't explain the details because I think if you've been reading this thread, you already know what happened in this episode. But then I got to wondering specifically about this episode: 1) What if these two people were both playing Nev? (or maybe "punking" would be a better term?). What if they had seen the show and one of them asked the other, "Do you think we could construct some kind of story and fool Nev into thinking it was true and get on this show?" 2) I wonder if this idea has occurred to other people and whether anyone might want to try to do something similar? I know that when Judge Judy first started getting popular, college students used to have contests to see if they could pretend they were having some terrible problem with a friend or neighbor or lover and get on the Judge Judy show and make some money by getting her to make a judgement for one of them. I wouldn't even suggest such a thing if this show was about helping people resolve problems and live better lives. If it was a therapeutic show, for example, I wouldn't suggest wasting the time of the hosts because that could cost someone who could really get help from the show. But this show isn't really about helping people. Well, it is, in a small way. But it's more about finding two people - one of which is deceiving the other - and exploiting them by showing them on TV. The hosts and producers of this show aren't doing it primarily to help people. They're doing it to make money by finding people who fit the profile of their show and then constructing an episode of their TV show about these people. But, I'm wondering if it might be fun for two (or more) people to try and concoct situations that would entice this show to meet the people and record an episode about them. I'd think of doing that in a serious way if there was any money in it for the people involved. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there is. But, for one thing, I'd like to ask if any of you might think that any of the episodes they have produced so far have been "fake"? Does it seem like any of these situations were not real but were just concocted by the participants for the fun of seeing whether they could trick Nev into believing them and putting them on the show? After all, for people who aspire to become actors, they might think this could be a good way to introduce themselves to talent agents or casting directors. Or would that just be a nasty thing to do and would it be best to just put it out of my mind? I can see both sides of this problem and I could well understand if people figured that it would be a terrible thing to try and deceive the producers of this show. On the other hand, it seems like one of the parties involved in every episode is there because they have deceived the other party. So, I wonder if it really would be completely wrong for two people to get together and try to deceive Nev?
  19. If you check my post, you will see I clearly admitted that threats were implied. There is no question about that. When someone commits extortion they are charged with extortion. When comeone commits theft they are charged with theft. That is why one is called extortion and the other one is called theft. They are two different crimes - separate and distinct. You can't get charged with both. That is called "double jeopardy". At least that is what they teach in law schools.
  20. I may be mistaken but I seem to remember the guard who released Elliot said words to the effect that large number of prisoners were being released due to the hack and that was the reason Elliot was released. I didn't hear very clearly so I may be mistaken. But my understanding was that huge numbers of non-violent prisoners were being released. I def heard the guard say "non-violent" and I'm fairly sure that despite what Elliot thinks, the reason that many prisoners were released was due to the hack. Of course, it may be possible that both causes were in effect. Maybe the Dark Army did make some moves to get Elliot reduced at the same time as many other non-violent prisoners were released. It would be quite a co-incidence, but it might well be true. Did anyone hear what was said clearly or have close-captionaing playing?
  21. Yes. Heh Heh. That is definitely true.
  22. I understand that he wanted to rid himself of his imaginary father and thought structure would do that. But his lawyer was talking to him about pleading "not guilty" and then fighting the charges. Not necessarily with the expectation he would walk away from them. But more likely the result would be far less jail time or a different kind of structure, such as community service. Elliot got very lucky the state released prisoners early. From what I recall, he was sentenced to 18 months but only served a few weeks. He could have gotten a similar result had he plead not guilty and put up a fight without needing the early release. If he had to serve 18 months, I think he would have regretted pleading guilty. It was a ridiculous thing to do. He could have gotten everything he wanted or needed without taking the chance he would have to do 18 months. I realize he would probably go to prison for a shorter time. But how much time did he think it would take to get rid of his psychosis? A few weeks should have been enough or he would need to look for some other kind of remedy. Bottom line for me was that it just didn't make any sense for him to plead guilty. He could have found a way to get some structure with much less time. In fact, I would think he could have found another way to get structure without ever going to prison. Checking himself into a mental health facility for example. Had he done that, he could have then checked out once he felt he was cured. Or once he discovered that wouldn't cure his problem. Also, the "theft charge" really didn't make any sense to me and my problem was that the combination of the state charging him with theft and his pleading "guilty" to all the charges just didn't make any sense and I was very disappointed the show runner would ask the audience to expect such a thing. I have really enjoyed this show because of all the different ways the show runner asks the audience to stretch our imagination. But when he asks us to accept premises which fall outside the realm of the possible, that just crosses the line, IMO.
  23. I had a very hard time with this episode. I have only watched it once. But the beginning just made no sense to me. First, Elliot pleads guilty against the advice of his lawyer. This made no sense to me. It would only make sense if he has some brilliant plan whereby pleading guilty would do something wonderful for him. But I just can't see that. Did he need to go inside the prison to somehow infiltrate it? Maybe. But the likelihood of that is so low as to be absolutely ridiculous. Asking the audience to swallow that is just ... well ... it just makes me very angry and the only way I can discuss it at this moment is to use a bunch of curse words. Second, the charges make no sense. What Elliot did wrt the dog cannot be called "theft" in any stretch of the imagination. If he had a veiled threat behind the statement, "I need your dog", then maybe the state would charge him with extortion. But theft? Absolutely ridiculous. Again, unless he had some bizarre strategy for pleading guilty, the state had such weak evidence for a theft charge and Elliot had a ton of ammunition to counter that charge (like the way the asshole previous owner would abuse that dog by physically pulling her leash and lifting her off the ground by her neck), he could claim he was trying to "rescue" the dog from her abusive owner and the case would have just fallen apart. IMHO, there is almost no way the state could ever convict him of theft. After that, it just became very difficult for me to accept the rest of the episode. I was so out of sorts I honestly couldn't concentrate. I'm going to have to watch it again when I calm down before I can even come close to reaching a reasoned opinion. But I loved the closing scene when Johanna appears and says, "Hello Ollie". Only interesting events can follow that.
  24. It seems to me that something like that would be considered highly disrespectful to co-workers and hugely insulting to the FBI's senior management. I strikes me as highly unacceptable, and I would guess that if this was RL, someone would have taken her aside almost as soon as she started sucking on those lollipops and told her to just, "knock that shit off!" or, "find another job!"
  25. Ganesh, I keep flip flopping. When I read your post, I felt that I strongly agreed with you. But then, when I read a post expressing the opposite opinion, I felt that I strongly agreed with them. It is so rare that something like that happens. I keep going back and forth on this issue. But, how in the world could Dom's lollipops be insignificant? They are so prevalent and so intrusive. It just wouldn't make any sense if they had no meaning. I must admit. Often times, this show just drives me crazy (or maybe I should say, "crazier").
