  1. Actually, Elizabeth was one of the only people that supported BM's Drew when Sbu came back. She was definitely the most on his side out of everyone else.
  2. Drama! I like it. My guess, with no evidence, is that they were making things difficult behind the scenes because they wanted to work together. Their jobs were threatened so KM started towing the line (plus she has more clout at GH then BM, I would assume) and BM did not, so either he was fired or quit in a dramatic fashion. I wonder what BH thinks about all of this because other than KM she probably worked the closest with BM over the years and shes tight with KM.
  3. Not sure where to put this but I was in a bit of a youtube hole watching some old videos. And wow, has Elizabeth had a lot of missed opportunities for pairings over the last few years. AJ and Matt to name a few. Even Nikolas and Ric weren't really given a chance (I know Niz is unpopular here but I think they had chemistry when TC came back). Maybe there are even others I can't think of. It just really sucks to me that she is stuck with a disgusting man-child when BH has had decent, unexplored chemistry with so many other actors on show and when she always shows up with every one of her screen partners.
  4. Wasnt Liz on her way to work in her scrubs on Friday? You would think she would have been on today in nurse mode. But I guess that wouldn't be about Franco so it's not allowed.
  5. So frustrating that Liz and Franco are married but hopefully marriage will be the first step toward the end of them because while I love my girl Liz I am pretty sure she has cheated on both guys she was married to before. Anyway, Becky always gives her all and it sucks that Liz got married to Franco not only on the anniversary of her rape but when she and Lucky exchanged vows in the chapel. And without her kids present! Just terrible.
  6. Watched yesterday and had some thoughts. I still hate Franco. The Webber boys are the best part of the show right now. They better take advantage of the actor who plays Cam while they have him because he is going to get cast in primetime pretty soon...he's great. Elizabeth's defense of Franco actually makes sense because if she doubted him then she would have to doubt herself. But she could have been more sympathetic to Cam. If the show is really going full steam ahead with Jasam, why can't the show put Elizabeth and Drew back together?
  7. I totally agree about Drew/Elizabeth. I thought I was the only one thinking that! Would love to see them revisited again or at least more scenes together.
  8. It was a well done and well acted episode. Very good adaption from the book. I do agree, however, that the scene with the Cherokee was ridiculous and didn't need to be in the episode. Sam is the definite mvp for the season for me. One of the most poignant things about Jamie's character is that he did not get to be a father to his children throughout most of their lives and Sam nailed that sadness. But, as much as I enjoyed the episode, I'm just glad this part of the story is done with. I like adult Willie and Lord John well enough and especially Lord John's interactions with Brianna later on in DoA, but I never liked this particular storyline in the book. The promo for next week puzzled me. I get that they don't want to give too much away but it seemed to focus on Bonnet rather than Brianna. Are they going to have her reach America in the course of one episode?
  9. I think Sam has been wonderful this season. I think he is doing a great job showing Jamie's strength and humor and love for his family. I liked this episode although it was a little slow for me. I thought the Roger stuff was a little long and I do wish they had ended the episode showing Brianna approaching the stones rather than show that in the trailer for next week.
  10. Loved this one! The music was just beautiful all around. Sophie Skelton was the standout of this episode to me. She has improved so much and I thought she was excellent especially in the argument scene with Roger. I was very impressed and it gives me a lot of hope that she can handle the rest of the season, especialy when she and Jamie meet. Roger is one of my favorite characters in the books and this is not one of his finest moments. I'm glad they didnt shy away from portraying him as a prig. The Jamie and Claire material was ok but a little choppy although it's odd to me that the ring has not been mentioned yet. I like that Jamie is so curious about his daughter. Also, Jamie falling in love with Frasers Ridge was abrupt but Sam sold it. Jamie and Jocasta's goodbye scene was also very touching.
  11. I loved last week's and I am really disappointed in this one. The story was completely changed from the book. Jamie was neutered once again and because they changed the story, they left out one of my favorite scenes in all the books (when Jamie asks Claire if she believes hes a good man and he tells her she can't be his conscience). And they left out Jamie in his kilt! The only real positive for me was that John Bell was wonderful and actually clicked for me as Ian for the first time.
  12. I LOVED it. Probably up there with season one for me. I thought Jamie and Claire's chemistry was on point. Not just the love scene but the scene where they talk about the governors offer and the medicine box were just lovely. Sam was excellent as Jamie. I loved the writing for Jamie and Sam's performance. They wrote him like JAMMF for once. The Jamie and Ian scene was excellent. Bonnet was menacing and charming. I thought the story moved along relatively well and was a good set up for the season. The thermodynamics conversation being different from the book worked for me given that they just watched their friend die so of course death was on their minds. I also liked the change of Claire losing Jamie's ring. It makes more sense that Brianna would recognize Jamie's ring given that it's more unique. The deciding to stay in America was slightly abrupt. But it made sense. Jamie and Claire have nothing to go home to in Scotland and Jamie realized that he could be closer to his daughter by helping nurture the land where she will be born.
  13. Yikes. They are so clinical. No passion at all. No smiling, no happiness. Ugh.
  14. Seems to me like KeMo has to suck it up. Even if she wants to work with Billy, people have pairings taken away all the time. This is nothing new. I didn't hear what Steve said on the podcast so maybe he shaded her but she's definitely shading him. In their scenes I think that Sbu is (shockingly) showing up more than she is. Other actresses on GH have been treated way worse than KM has been, with far less air time, and have handled themselves professionally. She should do the same or get another job. That goes for Billy too. I hope they didn't act like this with BH or JT when BM first started on the show.
  15. I hate Franco. So much. He has ruined my favorite character and infests this show like a virus. I didn't like Liz/Drew at all when Liz was lying about him being Jason, but now I can see that they actually have some nice chemistry. It sucks that Liz will never be out of Franco's orbit and there is no way she and Drew can happen given her lie. If they were going to bring back a friend of Liz, I wish it would be Matt. I know Jason Cook is on another soap (or at least was?) but even a recast would be fine. Anyone (except Jason) to save Elizabeth from this abomination.
  16. Elizabeth isn't allowed to have a story or scenes with character that don't involve Franco.
  17. First time I ever liked Friz was the dip and kiss. But can Elizabeth have one single freaking scene without the barnacle??? Jason and Sam...snore. I actually liked Maxie's dress. Where's Drew? I must have missed that.
  18. I didn't like Jason/Drew and Liz at the time they were together (probably because I knew Liz's character was being flushed down the drain), but I think they have developed pretty good chemistry over the past few years. But, for me, it's #anyonebutFranco.
  19. Oh happy day!!! Ding dong the Friz is dead! Hopefully, tomorrow we can get a double-tap to make sure its really dead.
  20. So because they can't dirty up their precious three once again they will use Elizabeth as the scapegoat. If she's not pathetic for Franco, she's pathetic for the trifecta of suck. Becky is too good for this ish. edit: Drew actually isn't too bad.
  21. Why isn't Aiden/Elizabeth (and Cameron for that matter) at Laura's wedding?
  22. Yay that was good!!! Although Claire was an idiot for not going below deck. Favorite parts: loved the Jamie/Claire/Ian hug, the love scene (obviously), the looks Jamie and Claire shared on the beach, and the final shot with the music.
