I found Adam and Hannah to say almost exact things to Jay. But Jay has no use for Adam so he got all bent. I don't see where Adam was rubbing anything in.
-
He has 'thoughts in his head'...who knew!?!?!?
-
Yeah, not due to birth year but due to piss poor parenting.

I would have, if I were Adam, said either A: I don't plan to use the advantage...didn't use it for this past reward challenge, did I? and/or B: my mom is pretty ill with cancer so a visit from a loved one is important to me. I don't think he's told them about his mom so that would have shut down the obnoxious cool bros. Or, at least, I hope it would. I feel like Adam doesn't read people well at all. That's his downfall here. Though maybe he is playing a good game. He seems to be getting rid of his targets while staying safe himself. Could be editing that makes us scratch our head. But I agree with another poster who said that the two cool bros seemed to really hate Adam regardless of the Figgy ouster. And they look at Hannah and Zeke similarly. When Hannah was proud of her own gameplay and Jay was commending her, it was so freakin fake. He is a user. And if he, Tayls, Michele and Will had just accepted Adam into their alliance, maybe they'd all still be in the game.

I was going to ask about this. Wouldn't the drinking age on that island be 18? Poor Will.

Jay is sly. But talk about idiot... Tayls. So happy he's gone. I feel so bad for Adam. I don't get why Jay was so pizzed after their talk in the water. Um, Jay, you guys are on the bottom. You even did the math and said 'us three'. Just can't fathom not being The Kingpin, eh.

So yeah...Nico and Lauren are annoying as hell. Shame cause Nico is so cute. But his constant complaining is very unappealing. And Lauren's 'this is one big party' attitude....ick. I am not a Kate fan, that RBF gets me, but any of the crew taking issue with her this episode was just ridiculous. I was feeling bad for Kelly too. He didn't seem to be doing as badly as Captain was making it out to be, in my opinion. But then the key situation...uggghhh, that was a dumb bad move. And allowing Nico to mouth off to him...he should have fired him right then and there. It's going to come back to bite him when Nico is his boss. I agree that those flowers were Fugly. A nice box of chocolates, or fancy bottle of bubbly or both, would have been more apropo. Next thing you know he'll be ordering up a puppy, on the boat, for their 2 week anniversary.

Great episode! Needed it after a rather let-down episode of TWD last night. Westworld, I choose you! Jeffrey Wright is friggin awesome. Loved him in Hunger Games and he was fan-freakin-tastic in Boardwalk Empire. But he is CRUSHING it in Westworld.

They showed her room, which looked way more swanky than past years, which looked more campy than swanky.

For the reward challenge winners, couldn't they ask trivia questions of the other tribemates (maybe Survivor history) and take those who can answer the questions? Or maybe pick your closest ally and say outloud that they get to pick the next person. And I always yell at the TV that they should just take the tribemates who were closest to winning (2nd and 3rd place people). Adam...if I were him I would either: give it to Tayls to use right before a reward challenge as that dude is so arrogant he would use it and target would be on him. Or I'd wait until Tayls, Will or Jay wins reward and they take each other, then I'd swap for one of them...probably Tayls as he is the dumber one that would be safe to leave behind with the others. I think it would be best to give it to one of the millennial bros to use so that puts a target on them. Does anyone know if Adam has to steal from the winner before the winner picks who to share the reward with or can he wait until all guests are chosen and then steal it from any of them?

Tayls mason jar/ canning comments had me confused too. My daughter-17 said he was just being sarcastic. And it dawned on me that he is still pissed about losing his snuggle buddy. Super pissed and out to wreak havoc a la tattoo-doucebros when they hid the machete/tools and poured water on the fire. He's so dumb that he doesn't realize he's sabotaging his own game. And poor Adam thinking he can 'make nice' with him. That will NEVER happen. Hope Adam has the 411 on that now.

Rooting for Zeke and Dave. Used to like Adam but his gameplay, tonight, left me all like, WTF! Glad to see Michele go. Never liked her for some reason. She lied way too easily. Tayls is dumber than a box of rocks. And arrogant. His buddy, Jay, is also arrogant. Don't like that crap. Oh, Hannah. I like her but her neurosis is a bit much. Though she didn't lose her mind the way Adam did and she actually helped keep things together a bit. Kudos! Also don't like the Will kid. Don't know why, just don't. Maybe how he was just out for vengeance and wasn't thinking strategically. But, boy, was he tough at the IC and Jess too. Double kudos!!

no. it has to do with dwight's wife who is now negan's.

This is feeling like Fear TWD to me in that it needs too much explaining. Guess I have to stay up for TTD to understand this crap I am watching.

what is #39?

Stupid episode.

Couple things: First, Jess talking with Tayls and in her talking head she says something about not trusting Adam or liking Taylor and wanting to work with him. Ummmm, didn't Adam just save the GenX duo by going with them to vote out Figgs???? And Jess is not trusting Adam???? Nice! Second, Michaela needed to pipe down some (I think her reaction to Figgs being voted out probably rubbed Jay wrong) and maybe she should have not been beasting every comp (maybe throw the reward ones). I kept thinking of Joe Anglin and knew she was painting a huge target on her back. And, by the way, on Joe's season 2 (I didn't see his first season) they were gunning for him and when they got to merge they had a hard time getting rid of him because he was a beast at IC (how many did he win in a row?). So I think it was brilliant to get rid of her as soon as they had the very first chance. I will miss her as she was great to watch. I suspect we'll see her again.

So I think Kyle is more of a leach type that will be whatever gets him somewhere with whoever he is trying to use (like Fear the Walking Dead's Strand...a bit of a con man). That's just my feeling. Ems and our boy, Ben...I have this feeling they have been dating before this season started. They pretended to have just met for the show.

On the show, who was Aaron's partner? Was it Eric? Is he still alive, I can't remember? In the comics Jesus has a partner...don't remember his name. Maybe Daryl will be Jesus' partner. I could see him as gay since he has shown no desire to women and maybe he guards his sexuality due to being from redneck background (and having the bully brother...what's his name????). -

Do you think Daryl will replace Dwight's story. He'll be worked over by Neagn and become a member of his group, faking it though. And then he'll help from the inside like Dwight did in the comics. And when they jail Negan, Daryl will take over leading the Sanctuary (Savior group)? I just don't know what they'll do with Daryl. -
some hosts, like Dolores, have a short continual loop where other hosts farther in the game have more complex lengthy loops, right? So Laurence isn't like Dolores. He has more of a longer story, over several days, maybe?????

The new villain every season kills me. I finished reading the last 2 volumes and as they were introducing Alpha I was feeling like 'here we go again'. They fight the bad guy, lose some people, win and rebuild a nice community and are happy when, blamo, another villain comes along. Rinse repeat. Sigh! I guess the Stephanie person that Eugine is radioing will bring the next villains along, a la Felecia on Fear. I think viewers will be very bugged, though, to find Negan sticking around so long. And his dialoging is sooo annoying (was annoyed when reading the books). Though once he's jailed we don't see much of him. But I have a feeling the next volume will have a lot of him. I have a question as a #nevercomicreader. I read the compendium #3 and then the 2 last volumes. Are individual comic books more wordy and detailed? I found what I read to be so....ummm....'see spot run' stupid. I feel the scenes leave out a whole lot of dialogue. -
Just watched and a couple things: 1- the ex hubby...he didn't appear to b rich but that's me judging on the clothes he was wearing and his neighborhood they were staked out at (not poor but certainly no DJ Trump). And he mentioned spending $15K on his lawyer before he added the 2nd and 3rd ones. Would you do that just to avoid letting your 2nd wife discover that you fooled around with the ex 20 years ago? Now wife #2 knows anyway. Money wasted. And him saying he had no idea she was dead. BS! They did say the Eugenie came from money. I wonder if ex hubs inherited any money from her. 2- Why wasn't ex hubby brought in and his alibi checked back 20 years ago? Seems like Rodie dropped the ball there. 3- They think she disappeared from the lakes area where they found her ID, CC and keys but what if they were tossed there? I suspect she went out with Robert and fooled around and maybe a certain someone didn't like that so he was waiting at her place when she returned and said 'lets take a drive'. Maybe after he dumped her body he then tossed her stuff that she left in his car.

I think him returning Carl, and then killing Spencer for suggesting Negan kill Rick and let him be the leader of Alexandria, was all to try and gain trust from Rick. In some twisted way. Later, when he's in jail and Olivia (she's dead on the show, right?) leaves the cell door accidentally unlocked...Negan stays there and tells Rick he wants to prove that he can trust him. I just read the 3rd compendium and there are 2 volumes after that I still need to read, but me thinks Rick will let Negan help him with his Whisperer problem. So all these things did build some trust for Rick. So I think the show will have Carl run off to try and save Daryl. But what will he do with Daryl...since he's not in the comics, I am not sure. And I am guessing Sasha's days are limited as she will take the Holly part and be sent back as a walker. Or Daryl might take that part. I thought Carol would take Michonne's part with Ezekial but maybe Sasha will. Though it seems too soon after Abe. Both women are tormented and don't think they deserve to be happy, like book Michonne. -
So I was thinking that the MiB is Arnold.
