They could have my DS. He's an oldest but was a slacker, not a care in the world type. My younger (twin DDs) are the pleasers and achievers. Could be more a boy/girl thing since they are only 2 years apart and basically triplets. But I'd so be interested in this type of Survivor theme. My SDH was the baby with 2 older sisters and so I am always intrigued by the birth order dynamics. My brother was 5 years older than I so we were more like only children.

As a gen X (1973) mom of 3 millennials (1997 and twins-1999) I am liking the theme a little bit. Watching with my kids is fun (we argue with each other and root for our peeps). Yes, there are some similarities (we were thought of as lazy and spoiled when younger too) but there ARE differences between the generations. Not everyone can be labeled by their generation, I get that, but it does seem that with each new generation folks remain dependent kids longer and harder than the previous generation. We were grown by around 21 but now 26 year olds are still called kids. At 23, I was graduated from college, working, married with a baby on the way and a house bought at 24. My nephew is 23 and has not graduated college yet, is in an apartment his parents pay for with furniture they bought and a car they bought. I think I was an outlier though as most of my friends were not married with kids until 30s but at 23 they were graduated, working and providing their own housing and car.

Da was the deciding vote. I am sure Paul expected James to vote for Nicole and Natalie to vote for him but it went the other way. But it still didn't matter since they nullified each other's votes (kinda funny that James' whole season was for NOTHING).

Dumbest move was to take Nicole over James...dumb! I think Paul blew it on his last answer when he talked about testing Nicole and James to see who was true and loyal and he ended up back to Nicole because she told him everything and was true and loyal. Duh. Duh for taking Nicole because of that and duh for highlighting Nicole's loyalty to the jury. Also, since I stopped being a James fan, I was glad that his vote for Paul got nullified by Nat's vote for Nicole.

Maybe he's discovered a med that slows the process. He needs to keep that med and not trade with the drug lords. He wants it all for himself and is willing to keep sacrificing his people in order to save himself. It could be the drug that Nick made and is weaker so that's why he is showing some symptoms.

With what water are they making the ice? All they needed to do was sew up Strand or heat up a knife and lay it on the cut to solder it. Jeez, didn't they see Revenant??? If Leo could survive all those bear slices and bites surely Strand could handle one little poke. Oh and what's with Alecia taking surfing lessons? Please tell me she had/has no plans to surf in those zombie waves??? Yes, cancelled!!!

I know. We didn't see each HoH going to their HoH room. We didn't see them come in after each eviction and talk about the table getting smaller. Didn't get much strategy talk on the sofa in the backyard like we got in past seasons. Could see more of the jury house. So much they could do. Didn't see much from HG's friends and families. I suppose we'll get that with the F3 on Wednesday. Or the F2. They have a lot to show on the finale. They have to show Corey going to jury. They have to show the jury's thoughts on the F2 or F3 (can't remember when they do that...I think F3). They have to talk to their family/friends. Then the vote and winner and questions for all the HGs. Oh, and the final comps to get to F2.

I wanted to see a Victor workout montage! All the crying, gah...who didn't cry this season? Paul, Frank and maybe James? Are these adults or no??

This is my 3rd season watching and Kate has been in all of them (for the poster above who said they haven't seen Kate before???...actually, I don't think Kate was in season 1). I don't like Kate, (I would NOT be friends with a chick like her), but she is witty and does do her job VERY well. Her 'happy resting face' comment was funny because she has been called out for having a BRF. And I like her hair. She goes for that disheveled look and I like it. She has also joked before that she never showers and is a slob. But she does seem to know how to present herself to the guests- so good on her. Senior Dickhand reminds me of the guy, the Rocky season, that was also short lived. He was a meathead who also could not handle being bossed by his bosum boss (who was Eddie). The guy who dove in after Rocky and said it was her beautiful bottom that lured him in (or something like that). And lets not forget Rocky's BFF chef that was a big jerk too. Man this show sure does pick 'em. I guess you have to be an extreme personality to want to be on reality TV.

I am sure James will be in F2. I don't really care who wins because I can't stand any of the 3. James was the worst player though so I think he'll get 2nd no matter what. Unless jury hold grudges but it doesn't appear that they do (Da keeps giving props to Nicole). I think Paulie being in F2 would have been the only bitter jury vote we'd see.

Dr Phill mentioned that he works from home (I think he said in IT) and described him as a bit of a recluse (in his own words)...not sure if it was on the show or on an interview I saw Dr Phill do (on the Today show I think...to promote the 3 part show with Burke). He is also married. I saw that in the news when he married a few years ago. Pretty blonde girl. 2 things that are new to the story: that Burke snuck down to play with toys when everyone was asleep...and...that he and his dad used the flashlight that night.

I love the 'bleep' comp. Pretty funny stuff. Glad Paul won cause seeing Nicorey and James skate to F3 would be so anticlimactic. I am guessing Paul will put up Nicorey and I hope they don't win Veto. I'd really like to see Nicole go but I bet James will send Corey to jury over Nicole. Nicole has been a great player, probably the best this season but I just cannot stand her and don't want her to win a dime. I hope Vic wins AFP. And I agree with the poster above who is sad to have the eye candy go. Can't wait to see him again when they show him enter the jury house. Hey, Amazing Race, it would be awesome to have a Paul/Victor team on a season in the future!!!!

James might could win in an F2 depending who he's sitting next to and if the jurors vote for who they like more or refuse to vote for someone they despise.

Yeah, I remember a clip this season on an early episode where they showed James flirting with all the ladies. The clip was about how James likes the ladies. Why, James, is that okay but Nat flirting is some kind of proof that she was playing/using you?

I am not reading the spoiler thread. I want to be surprised on Sunday...just 2 days. I hope beyond all hope that Paul wins HOH...or James if he has the chutzpah to put up Nicorey. I think Meech woke the jury up to Nicole being a good player and she might get the votes...wished the other HGs knew this. Although, and this is just dreaming cause it will never happen, it would be SPECTACULAR if Corey won and put up Nicole and James. I do NOT want Nicole in F2!!!!!!!

I wonder if these idiots all played the veto comp and couldn't figure it out...and blew up in the 1st or 2nd rooms...so they had to play again and were all given some hints. If just Nicole and Corey were...then that's BS. I would not be surprised.

Corey sure did go right into Veto comp and head right for the pipe on the wall without even looking around. And he just sailed through the entire thing as if...no, it can't be...like he kinda knew what to do.
