  1. Oh well, my favorite is gone, I hope Missy and Baylor keep being dumb about rations and their rice doesn't last more than a week.
  2. TBH I don't really know the situation, from a quick glimpse at her twitter and instagram she's posted pics of her and her dad at Seahawk's games and they seem to get along. She's also posted pics with her mom and sisters, I think. From her cast profile she said they've had many ups and downs over the past few years and that she would love for this unique opportunity to improve their Father/Daughter bond. I remember in a video she said something about how she's a marketing manager but on the show her role is the farmer's daughter which I thought was interesting, it makes me wonder how much of them not talking for 3 years is true or if it's for the show. She and her dad both seem to have a love for reality shows in common and both of them talk about valuing hard work instead of having things just handed to them so until they clarify the situation it's pretty much a mystery :).
  3. Since you quoted me, I'm basing my comments off of what I saw. I saw her listening to Drew in the background, showing restraint which requires strategy and self control. I never said she was the best strategist ever. She is one of my favorites, though and I'm entitled to decide that based on my own perception because I do notice background players and I've seen her reactions every episode so far. The ladies have been in an alliance with Jeremy since day 1, never in my post did I discredit Natalie or what she did because as annoying as I found her on TAR, I'm liking her on this show except for the fight she picked with John Rocker in last week's episode. There are different strategies and ways of playing like I stated in the rest of the post you quoted, one is lowkey and the other in your face, I can appreciate both approaches, which I did, not just the obvious one.
  4. Per Drew, he and only he kept the fire burning.
  5. Okay so he didn't like her from day one due to what he knows were lies that someone said in order to cause a rift in the tribe and when they talked about throwing a competition she wasn't even a target, Julie and Reed were. He's mad she ate food he couldn't even eat because he was allergic? He convinced himself she was a threat and dismissed Jeremy's wanting to get rid of Keith for more valid reasons because Keith is just one person and Kelley is multiple people? I'm glad he at least admits he was delusional on the island but his answers seem rehearsed.
  6. He chose Kelley because he said he couldn't get rid of Reed. His main complaints about her are that she ate the same amount of food as him (as did the rest of the tribe), watched all the episodes (how dare she watch the show she wanted to compete on) and wanted him and Jon out (along with the rest of the women). I don't believe his targeting of her was strategic at all, he seems desperate to come across as an intellect in his interviews. In the episode he said he wanted to get rid of her so the rest of the "bitches" would have no choice but to listen to him (to me that shows he thought she was too strong for him to control her and that intimidated him because he's used to getting his way), he can spin it all he wants, talk about being a victim of bad editing but nobody made him say those things, the same as he can talk about being a provider and a valuable asset, yet everyone said he was lazy including his best friend in the game and his brother.
  7. I think that they might have discussed the possibility of throwing a challenge before Drew went to Exile and by "discussed", I mean that the others might have jokingly said something about doing it and then Drew jumped on it, told them they were going to throw the next challenge, the others tried to voice their opinions and Drew shut them down and kept calling himself a kingpin and a mastermind while refusing to listen, pretty much the same as when he was telling them to vote for Kelley. I don't trust Drew's version of anything, his reality doesn't mesh with mine. ETA: In his interview, Drew mentioned that he really wanted to get rid of Reed because he was causing a lot of drama but that nobody wanted to get rid of him so he focused on Kelley. I'm not sure where we can discuss bonus clips but in the Survivor bonus clips,
  8. I'm not sure if I agree that Kelley didn't do anything, I think that what she didn't do probably helped her the most, which was that when she heard what Drew was saying she was smart enough to listen, read the room, she probably noticed, the same as Natalie that the men weren't on the same page and realized she wasn't in any danger so she didn't start any drama. In that kind of situation usually people make the mistake of starting a yelling match to defend themselves and then going to talk to everyone to try to flip the votes whereas she seemed to keep her cool pretty well and didn't need to rally the girls, she saw Natalie was already doing it so why should she paint a target on her back by doing what Drew said she was doing? I see Natalie as loud and brash whereas Kelley is more stealthy, they both probably had the same goal, they just had different ways of doing it. If I were on Survivor, I'd love to have a Natalie around to basically vocalize everything I wanted to, do the alliance's dirty work and draw attention to herself. I'm not saying that Natalie didn't do anything, she definitely did, but this is the same tribe that just last week was yelling at the other tribe for picking off the women, I'm pretty sure that they all had it in the back of their minds that the same thing could happen to them and they were already allied since the first episode so what Natalie probably did was just help hone in on which guy needed to go because from what I understood, the women were undecided between Jon and Drew until Natalie told them what Drew was saying. I think all the ladies did very well, though, they showed some serious solidarity and smarts so I'm going to say well played to all the women, not just Natalie or Kelley.

  10. She's a bitch because she ate? LOL, I imagine they all got equal portions of food, I'd think Reed and Jeremy were also superfans based on their interviews and also knew about Survivor but of course they're men, so that's okay and Natalie is pretty game savvy, as for his 3rd point then he needs to learn basic math. I definitely agree with some posters, he might have made a pass at Kelley and she probably shut him down and was very clear she didn't find him charming or cute so he took it personally. He was so proud of himself when Jaclyn said his brother called him a ladies man and seemed like he was trying to be cool about it, checked her out then said he wouldn't take his friend's girl basically, like he actually stood a chance and like she's property. I imagine he'd been talking non-stop about how he would have been able to provide for them if only they hadn't traded the fishing gear for a flint. It's crazy to me when comparing his attitude to John Rocker's last week in regards to fishing, that John came off as more humble.
  11. I had noticed Kelley and her dimples before, she and Reed are my favorites so far. I'm glad she and the rest of the ladies and Jeremy managed to blindside Drew. I swear I felt myself getting dumber the more he spoke.
  12. I missed Sara's death, I saw KC grinning inappropriately and I tuned out without meaning to and missed it until I read about it here. I swear I was trying to pay attention but she took me out of the show again and my thoughts drifted.
  13. I can now understand SA's reaction to people complaining about the poster a lot more. Didn't he say he was going to take a break from social media before SDCC and some people were wondering what was wrong? If we're bitter, I can't imagine how some of the cast might feel that the person that gets the most hate is getting things handed to her on a silver platter. I honestly don't even know what to say at this point except that I'm going to be taking a break from watching Arrow for a few weeks. It's been nice talking to all of you, I'll be back soon.
  14. I know but in that case he could have said something to his teammate, not get physically aggressive with the other team.
  15. I would agree with this except his own teammate accidentally hit his girlfriend. The argument between John and Natalie looked highly edited, we don't really know what was said but it seems to have gone on a while and based on an article from last week, John had said some nasty things to Natalie after Nadiya was eliminated so was it personal? Yes, very much so, the same as Jeremy's agenda. I don't think anyone came off looking well in that argument. Josh didn't have a problem with John's sexist, racist or homophobic statements until he found out that John was supposed to look out for Val, that was John's biggest mistake and then admitting to having an idol after he was a main factor in trying to get Val to flush hers out in last week's episode. Jeremy came off as a hypocrite to me, he was fine with John's comments also until his wife gets voted out and then he gets all morally outraged and offended and brings things up because now he wants him gone. So far I like the people I have seen the least of, which are: Kelley, Jon and maybe Reed. I am basing this off of seeing them in the background and usually reacting the way I would in that situation.
  16. Not all boxers/fighters are buff, there are some people out there that can't pack on muscle no matter how much they work out and it doesn't mean they can't hold their own. I'll admit, though that it is a bit aesthetically weird that KC is more buff than he is.
  17. I think everything should basically be an extension of Oliver, he's the reason for the show. All of his relationships are important, if anything didn't add to his story, to his journey it was the Lance family drama because that set him back and just made him look like an ass. Diggle wasn't really much of a talker in S1 or S2 but that man doesn't need to talk to get his point across and make his presence known. I don't feel that Diggle's screen time was really minimized in comparison to S1, yes, I would have loved to have him on screen more but like he said, he and Oliver aren't really talkers. Diggle started the "you are not alone speech" as well as the "find another way" speech but Felicity finished those speeches for him because the two of them seem to realize that sometimes both of them have to say something to get the point across to Oliver and Felicity is more of a talker. It doesn't make Diggle less important to the team.
  18. Yes, the interview was basically asking between Arrow and the Canary who would an arm wrestling match, who would you tell a secret, who would win a salmon ladder race, who would you trust to dog sit, etc... so Diggle wasn't an option.
  19. I don't think it's a tough detail to remember or giving too much credit. Usually people tend to follow a pattern when playing "rock, paper scissors". Some people notice things like that, I'm not going to underestimate him especially not considering that he may be getting help from production. He never saw Survivor so I don't blame him as much for not knowing about the Idol.
  20. I don't know, sometimes when KC talks herself up, I'm reminded of Joey Tribbiani's resume where he claimed he could do everything until he actually had to lol. I think it's awesome that she's working out but like I said before, that was not the issue, it's not why I don't buy her as Laurel. Camren Bicondova, the 4'11", 15 year old who is portraying Selina Kyle in Gotham is more believable to me as a badass and she doesn't need to be flexing her muscles, etc and the reason for it is because that little girl has been doing her research, even though because of her age, she can't do as many stunts, she still took parkour lessons, as a dancer she understands how her character moves and she seems interested in the overall story, not just her SL. She understands that being in character is not just learning and reciting lines. KC could post videos of her backing up her claims and showing off her gymnastic skills, practicing the salmon ladder, reading a comic book, etc... none of that would hurt but BC is a fighter, not someone that just works out at the gym.
  21. I don't have an issue with her Freudian slips, that's not something that just magically disappears and the way she handles them is cute. She doesn't just beat herself up and stop talking, in light of the awkward comments, she just keeps on. I like that, not everyone needs to be cool and it makes her relatable IMO, plus it's something that is very much her and she owns all her quirks, I don't know anyone in real life that has never had any foot-in-mouth moments. At least her awkwardness is intentional, some other characters actions aren't intended to be awkward and yet they are.
  22. I don't consider Lance as part of the team. He's someone that the team works with; both Lance and the team benefit from that relationship since the Hood helped out on some of his cases. If we were going by who has helped then we might as well include ARGUS, LOA, the Bratva, etc... and they are most definitely not part of the team. Just because someone helps doesn't make them part of a team, I think there has to be a certain element of trust, even though Felicity didn't know about the Hood, she helped even though she was smart enough to realize she was being lied to and quite honestly did not benefit from helping out because even though Oliver was her boss, her job at QC wasn't to risk getting involved in illegal activity. Felicity's job wasn't as a hacker, it was as an IT girl. Diggle was his bodyguard and quit, then went back to team up with Oliver while being very aware of the risks. Felicity, when informed, never seemed to want to turn Oliver into the police, she also realized the risks. Quentin, as a police officer/detective, was involved with some of the cases due to his job. He wanted to arrest the Vigilante. Laurel as an attorney, next as a DA was involved with some of the cases due to her job. She definitely benefitted more from his help than he did from her. She also at one point wanted to arrest the Vigilante.
  23. JR Ramirez has a fan made video on his Twitter titled "Wild Canary", he seems pretty excited about promoting them as a couple. Not sure if it's been posted but he confirmed his first appearance is in the 3rd episode.
  24. I don't think the EP's are ever going to badmouth her, they're too professional to do that so even if they can see the issues and have discussed them with her in private, there's no need to air it out. They try to be supportive of everyone and be enthusiastic of everyone's storylines but IMO the way her character seems to be an afterthought on screen tells me more than their interviews. It seems to me like they're trying to make the best of the situation. I don't think she needs to get called out on anything, at least not in public, it would lower my opinion of the rest of her cast, EP's if they do that because I do view them as team players that seem to put the overall show above their individual SL's. KC's a special case, maybe the network stuck them with her, in which case, what can they do but try to make lemonade?
