  1. I saw at least three racers crawling on the sand towards the end when they were measuring. Glad the Realtors were eliminated, I'll miss the pretty on my screen but definitely not their entitled attitudes. Actually, now that I think about it, they started off cute to me and got progressively less attractive the more they spoke. They bragged about packing twelve pounds of makeup if I heard correctly, that's ridiculous!
  2. To be fair, when Derrick confronted Donny about all the talking he was doing behind his back Donny also lied to Derrick's face and said it wasn't true and that he just wanted Team America to work together, etc, they both lied to each other about trusting one another and having each other's backs.. Neither one of them is a paradigm of truth.
  3. LOL, I'd be bitter, too....ain't no shame in that :) but I like to think I'd vote on gameplay because I respect the game. I actually appreciated when Jocasta said something like "no amount of sugar is going to take away the bitter" because she admitted she was bitter but then she said she voted for Cody because she promised after talking about "fake praying" but I'm pretty sure both she and Donny at one point also told Derrick they would vote for him because that guy kept working everyone until he felt he secured their votes. It doesn't really matter, though, the game is about lying, I don't really care if the juror's lie, too about their votes, they have their reasons, it's just fun to speculate. I think it's interesting that the friends that Derrick "stabbed in the back" appreciated his strategy and voted for him whereas the 2 people he was least close to in the jury seemed the most offended.
  4. I never said Victoria wasn't immature, as a matter of fact I called her an antagonistic elementary school child. Two wrongs don't make a right and it wasn't Donny's fight.
  5. If that's why he did it, though, it's pretty immature IMO but oh well. That's like a grown-up sitting down at the kid's table and breaking a toy just to spite a child. Zach and Victoria both picked on each other, they had an antagonistic, elementary school kid behavior and Victoria said recently she wanted to apologize to Zach and buy him a hat.
  6. I'm a truth fan, too and I've been looking lol, I'm trying to find the interview, a few sites are reporting that he did it to get revenge on Victoria for tearing up her hat.
  7. He has said numerous times in interviews that he didn't really try to form an alliance, his goal was to be approached to join an alliance. He just wanted to sit back, be under the radar, observe and make it to the jury house while he decided who he felt he could trust. He made an exception for Devin, though.
  8. How can someone be shunned when that person doesn't want to hang out with the others? That's just something I never understood because everyone said they loved him and he knew they loved him per his interviews.
  9. Yes, Derrick pretty much said that America chose these guys for a reason and we must know better than him so he was going to try to figure them out. That's when he approached Donny because I believe that's who he was most surprised by. Donny's "confession" is weird to me, too... wasn't there a GIF or something confirming it was Christine? Why would Donny lie for Christine of all people, though? She was probably the most vicious towards him. ETA: Looked it up, everyone assumed it was Christine because she left the bathroom with something hidden under her shirt so viewers thought it was the knife or marker used to scratch out Victoria's name.
  10. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/phillygossip/Temple-Big-Brother-runner-up-plans-on-paying-back-his-student-loans.html I think that's the one you're talking about. I read somewhere that his student loans are $80k, I don't know how he thought $50k would cover that if it's true.
  11. I don't think she picked on anyone, she was never in with the cool kids except for Derrick. From what I saw, her fatal error was outlasting "worthier" opponents. Now that I think about it, I consider her the true outcast of the season, she only had one person throughout the whole game, it wasn't until much later that she and Nicole got friendly with each other, before that most of them didn't really talk to her much and none of them wanted to share a bed with her. She's an easy target, unfortunately.
  12. The only reason his "mean streak" has been mentioned is because he said the houseguests were mean to him so it shows to me, that he can dish it but can't take it. He's very gleeful when he gets to make fun of others which is very understandable, cries when he feels left out, which is fine but the big difference to me is that when he made his zingers the other person wasn't joking with him. I like to joke around, too but that doesn't mean I go up to people I don't really try to get to know and roast them for kicks and if I did, I'd expect some "mean" comments my way and wouldn't cry. I honestly view Derrick and Donny as two sides of the same coin. They're both stubborn, smart, didn't trust each other, I saw them both as being emotionally manipulative (Derrick with his family, Donny with his crying), they both claim loyalty to TA yet they were both trying to get each other out, they would both approach the people they knew were about to get evicted and play the vote management game in my eyes. The main difference I saw is one chose to blend in with the crowd while the other chose to stand out. I still wish they would have worked together, that would have been my dream F2 for this season.
  13. I just think that there are so many things that Jocasta could have talked about but she chose to focus on "fake praying", which according to her, she was referring to his imitation (Why so serious? Honestly, a sense of humor about oneself goes a long way in my eyes) and later on, in interviews, on talking shit about Victoria. I was hoping for something positive from her. I thought it was funny that she got offended when an interviewer said she got saved every time she was sick, and she said something like, every time I was sick? I was only sick once, I only got saved one time. How many times did she expect to be saved? Zach, Donny and Jocasta didn't seem too happy that Victoria outlasted them, in fact Zach pretty much admitted that bothered him a lot because he felt she didn't do anything and TBH, he's right, but that's part of the game and her one ally got her far. I liked Donny when he showed self-awareness and said something like he shouldn't have left his game at home because I felt that for once he wasn't just pointing fingers but admitting he could have done more.
  14. Per his interviews, Donny made up his mind from the beginning that he didn't like Derrick. Their relationship or lack thereof was on both of them. I can't fully blame one or the other for that, they just didn't click. That's why I think it's on both of them. As mature adults, I think if they had put effort into it then they could have worked together but they were both dismissive of each other from the start because quite frankly they disagreed or maybe they are both too stubborn and thought they were too smart for their own good, who knows really? They might not even know why they couldn't get along until they remove themselves from the situation and do some serious self-reflecting. I'm actually happy they both won, I threw Donny over 1k votes. I think both Donny and Derrick fans should be pleased by the outcome, there's really no need to argue, they're both winners in my book. :) Personally, I see flaws in both of them as well as positive qualities but I have more respect for one as a strategist, I understand others might have more respect for the other as a person and TBH I can see why, but I saw kindness as well as mean streaks from both.
  15. LOL, yes, it's definitely fair!!!
  16. I don't think anybody's disagreeing that Donny could vote for who he wants for whatever reason or that Derrick could have managed the jury better. There's no perfect game here because one person can't please everyone. The same way Derrick was dismissive and insulting to Donny the whole season is the way I view Donny throwing shade at everyone, I view that as dismissive and insulting, too. I think they're all adults and it's not really anybody's job to "manage" them or babysit their feelings 24/7, Derrick focused on who he did and it won him the game, these people were all pretty emotionally high maintenance IMO. In a game where so much money is involved and people were sequestered together, there will be hurt feelings, it's natural. If we, as viewers get so caught up in this, I can't imagine what it's like for the HG's.
  17. I wasn't really shocked by Moira's death, I expected it when Slade initially showed up in the Queen's living room. The "I love you" fake out wasn't shocking either, neither was Malcolm being Thea's dad, at least not to me. I guess I was most surprised, yet not really by Malcolm being alive.
  18. bit·ter 2.(of people or their feelings or behavior) angry, hurt, or resentful because of one's bad experiences or a sense of unjust treatment. I still think there was some bitterness involved but then again that's my perception and I don't expect everyone to agree with it.
  19. I don't think Laurel's been dumbed down to prop up Oliver. She's been fairly inconsistent and he gets called out on pretty much everything by other characters. I agree that as a brother, he sucks.
  20. I would watch Zach on TAR, but not with Frankie. I was pretty impressed by his attitude last night, if anyone got screwed over, it was him with the TA tasks that they used him for. He seems to take things in stride, though, except for his anger towards Victoria lol. I see him as someone that, for the most part, compartmentalizes and realizes that this game is about manipulation and he seems to separate the player from the person. It's probably one of the reasons why it's easy for him to forgive Frankie, he knew not to expect honesty and that backstabbing is a big part of the game even from his closest "friend". At the same time, I respect Cody as well, even though he gave away $450k, he seems to take things in stride, too. I liked the Cody I saw yesterday, I wish he and that version of Zach had been there all season. I think Derrick wrote Victoria's question for her. He seemed to be nodding and kind of encouraging her to go on.
  21. I think it's on all of them, TBH. I don't think Derrick played the most amazing game ever but he did a great job working with who and what he had. There are some personal feelings that cannot be swayed regardless of how effective an argument is for whatever reason. I don't think any of this is purely black and white. There are negative motivations being ascribed to pretty much everyone in this game that are based on each individual's perception, that's a human outlook, I don't think anyone is 100% neutral because we all have our favorites and are generally more forgiving towards them regardless of who they are. I haven't seen the word "bitter" ascribed to just Donny and Jocasta either, I think there were a lot of emotions on stage which is natural.
  22. I think comparing a political candidate to a BB candidate, I guess, is comparing apples to oranges. The voters don't live with the candidate and didn't start out competing for the same prize. The voters didn't get kicked out along the way. I agree that people can vote however they want, for whatever reason, but that doesn't mean some aren't bitter especially after seeing interviews after. I don't disagree with Jocasta and Donny not voting for Derrick, it's their right, whether they did it to keep their word, bitterness over how they viewed game play or a combination of factors, it doesn't really matter but it doesn't mean others are right/wrong in their perception of them being bitter, it just means we all see things differently, which is great because if we all agreed then the world would be a boring place.
  23. Per Jocasta's interview, she was referring to Derrick "fake praying" because she heard how he imitated her in the TA "play".
  24. It seems Donny wants to go on more reality shows. He wan't happy about America voting Derrick as part of TA with him and the cards TA dealt him. He said he didn't form alliances because he wanted to be approached to form one and only Devin and Derrick approached him but he didn't trust Derrick. He said he loved everyone in the house yet he didn't talk to them because he couldn't stand being around them. His interview that I saw seemed that he's letting the fan love get to his head TBH, it was a bit contradictory, kinda bitter, he kept saying he was right from the start, referred to himself as "l'il ole me", felt backstabbed by TA yet admitted he never wanted TA. He apparently feels like he was very wronged in the house, would change none of his actions, though because of "these people", however he wants to do Big Brother again as long as the cast is right for him and they want to work with him. Yeah, good luck with that, I really don't wanna see the martyr schtick on my screen again, I know he's loved but I agree with the rest of the cast, he's not as innocent as he wants them to believe. Please take responsibility for your actions or lack thereof next time, Donny, if you reappear, you are way too old and smart to be playing the blame game because people didn't want to carry you. You said your goal was jury house, well you made it there. It makes perfect sense to me that you're so close to Jocasta. I still like you because I think you're mostly a nice, decent man but I have no respect for your game play or the way you sell yourself as a victim. Jocasta hates Victoria, she kept insulting her throughout the interview I saw. She was very bitter but kept talking herself up. I had to lower the volume. Devin was rude to the interviewer, said he was over the interview and left. That's all I remembered besides his huge fake smile throughout. Zach will be on Bold and the Beautiful also. He said he will be on TAR with Frankie who he loves so much and thinks is the man. Kept saying he's straight and not to ask about Zankie, he's all about Ariana. Hayden got to pimp out his pedicab business. He and Nicole are dating.
