  1. But then wouldn't it be in both their names?
  2. When Dani called about the cable TV not working, she said the bill was in Mo's name. And that the utility bills are also in Mo's name. So I'm really confused...why are Dani's bills in Mo's name? Did I miss something?
  3. You need to stay in cheap, seedy motels to get TV shows like 90 day fiancé, lol! you tube has full episodes up for viewing. Just search for 90 day fiancé.
  4. The drinking game never played: you have to take a shot every time Nicole mentions her daughter. Now that I think about it, they could probably safely play that game at an AA meeting.
  5. He was probably selling it on the street rather than as a licensed seller. I can see where he'd have a hard time getting an apt. Not only are they expensive here in CA but there's usually competition, so maybe if the landlord sees he was busted for selling pot they'd opt for another renter. Or, if the landlord sees he's in the mj business they'd opt for someone who's career doesn't involve weed, getting high, maybe having customers come by, or maybe other drugs. I have a feeling if the landlord has a choice they'll go for the least risky tenant, espeically in the nicer places where I'm sure he's looking. What landlord would rent to someone who most likely gets high just to have 10 other tenants complain about the smell? Jorge needs to get his shit together and buy a house instead of paying for a high-price hooker bride.
  6. Jorge's conviction was for selling mj. He was 21 (or 22?) and it was before medical mj was legal so he got busted. He said he struck a plea deal and spent a few days in jail. He's having a hard time finding an apartment because they always ask if he's been convicted of a felony. Anfisa wasn't happy about him keeping it from her for the past year but her face was the usual botox expressionless. They also introduced catfish lady who seems like she's all kinds of clueless. Her segments may be just too ridiculous to watch.
  7. I don't know the date she withdrew but my bet is it lines up pretty closely with when her talks began with TLC for the spinoff show.
  8. I know this isn't how the Lourdes/Anfisa meeting went but weirdly this is what I heard: Anfisa: I want to be a model. Loudres: Do you love Jorge? Anfisa: Who's Jorge? Oh, him, ya ya sure. Whatever. And oh, did I tell you I want to be a model? Best. Meeting. Ever.
  9. I don't think Nicole will ever have to support herself. Oh, sure, maybe a part time job at the pizza place but I think Nicole's mom will always supplement her income in a big way to make sure Nicole's daughter is cared for. Okay, so I know this is horrible to think of, but Nicole is so desperate for a man that she could seriously put her daughter in danger. Let's say some pedophile sees Nicole's profile on a dating site, sees she has a little girl, then gives Nicole a little whoopie so he can get to the daughter. This is real life shit and it scares the hell out of me that Nicole is so desperate.
  10. I skip most episodes because the guests are idiots, like on Jerry Springer but without the fist fighting. But I still watch a lot, too, because I truly believe Dr. Phil advocates for the kids. He has these parents on who are so consumed with hating on each other they don't even think of the poor kids. I really don't care for Dr. Phil but I'll keep watching because he's the only one with a major talk show who brings the focus back on the helpless kids.
  11. Haha for sure! But it could be dangerous in a lot of places, even life-threatening.
  12. I agree Nicole has probably always been spoiled but got even more spoiled once she got pregnant. She was probably weeping over her broken heart and Mom wanted to make sure the baby would be ok so she did everything for her and paid all her pregnancy expenses. Then once the baby was born Mom made sure Nicole always had money for food and housing and nice stuff for the baby. And obviously Nicole doesn't worry about a babysitter. I don't think Nicole has had to be responsible for anything so she hasn't had to grow up. But that's the difference between a free country and a country with strict religious laws. I think everyone needs to learn and respect the laws of the country they are visiting for their own safety. Nicole could be breaking the law in Morocco by wearing her usual clothes, but someone from Morocco visiting the USA woudn't be breaking the law by wearing their native garments.
  13. I'm kinda hoping we get to see Jorge meltdown cuz something's not ringing true about that guy. Anfisa, on the other hand, is up front about all her shit.
  14. For next week's show, Nicole gets KIDNAPPED! The kidnappers send Nicole's family a ransom note that reads: We have kidnapped your daughter. Send us one million dollars or you will never see your daughter again! Nicole's family responds with a smiley-face emoji. A week later they receive another note: We have generously lowered the ransom to one hundred thousand dollars. You must reply or you will never see Nicole again! P.S. What is bbq pork ribs? We have no such thing in our country. Another week passes and Nicole's family receives another note: We are gladly releasing your daughter. We are even paying for her airfare back to America. May Allah have mercy on you.
  15. She said she'd like to model for Playboy. I guess some women see that as a successful career! Nicole...can you imagine how embarassed her family is right now? I wouldn't even want to be an acquaintance of hers at this point. Hell, I'm embarassed that she's associated with the same country as I am, lol!
  16. Nicole and Anfisa are reality gold! I don't know how they found these two but I'm not gonna miss a single episode, lol. Nicole...omg she's like a black hole that will never fill up. It also drives me nuts when someone uses 'I love you' like a test, forcing the other person to say it to pass. What a leech. And never once during shopping did she say, "Oh, this is cute. My daughter will love this." I don't think she thought of her daughter at all. Azan must really want to be in the USA pretty badly to marry someone who has none of the traits he thinks a wife should have, (modesty, a good cook, a healthy lifestyle, etc.). Anfisa is 100% genuine and I'm loving it! She's with doughboy to get on TV and get famous but this girl ain't got no plans to work her way up as a waitress. No way...she's starting with a tax-free salary from one hell of a sucker, lol! Sounds like his secret is something to do with money because that's about the only reason he'd be worried about Anfisa losing interest. C'mon TLC, out with the secret already! The other two couples aren't as interesting but who cares...these two make the show worth watching. (liammaam you and your caps lock...rofl!)
  17. I thought he was trans for sure until the comments he made about women in America. Those outdated ideas just don't add up for someone who is liberated enough to have a sex change.
  18. I don't dislike Nick and I'll probably watch but...I dunno...him being picked just feels so incestuous. All these bachelor people know each other, hook up with each other, party with each other. I was hoping for someone new that I can be curious about. I'm kinda bored seeing the same people in the same clique over and over again. Sheesh Nick has been on 2 bachelorettes, was at the J&T wedding, on BiP...can't we get someone new? hopefully it'll be entertaining but it feels like a summer rerun. Also Nick has been in so many episodes he's like a professional reality show actor. His whole life is wrapped up in this franchise so I'm sure he'll be their puppet. Reality shows are already getting so scripted it's ridiculous. Nick as TB will be ott scripted because he'll do/say anything they want.
  19. Wait, wut? Isn't this Millionaire Matchmaker? I guess Ashley's tears have been very profitable.
  20. My dvr has two new shows set to record starting Monday, 8/22. But they're at really weird times...3pm-4pm and 5pm-6pm (pacific time). I thought it wasnt scheduled to start til September? Anyway, wanted to give everyone a heads-up.
  21. I worked with a lady who was super obese and she swore she didn't eat more than a person of normal weight. She was fighting with her insurance company for months to get approved for gastric bypass surgery. One day after a visit with her doctor she said there was a lady in the waiting room who had bypass surgery a year ago and she was eating Doritos while waiting for her appointment. My co-worker said if she ever got approved for the surgery she'd be so happy to lose weight that she'd never eat crap like that. She got approved, lost weight, and a year later had skin surgery. (She had to pay over $20,000 of her own money for expenses not covered by her insurance.). After it was all done she looked really good. But then we all started noticing her snacking on cookies and crap food and she started gaining lots of weight back. She'd bring in the treats to "share with everyone" and when the rest of us wouldn't eat it she'd say things like, "I bring in good stuff and you're all constantly on diets." She seemed to think that once she lost the weight she wouldn't ever have to diet again. I think she really believed she ate normal amounts of food and couldn't understand why she was gaining her weight back. Or she was in denial? I don't know. I know she never got counseling because I asked her about it once and she said she didn't need it because she didn't have any emotional issues tied to food. I left the company so I don't know what happened to her weight-wise. I hope she was lucky enough to have a doctor that gave her a wake up call. .
  22. Maybe I'm missing something here but Aneska seems to think she's adorable, in charge, and waaaaay smarter than her parents. Her past behavior is very disturbing but what bothered me more was while Aneska was acting smart-ass her parents were smiling and gazing lovingly at her. I would've been horrified! I don't know how to explain it so it makes sense but the parents seemed to take pride in her smart-ass, manipulative behavior. I think they let Aneska be in charge when she was younger and now they're paying the price. Aneska herself said she throws tantrums "because it works." That says a lot about the parents and sends up big red flags and I'm surprised it wasn't addressed. Maybe there are other issues but the brain scan results showing lack of impulse control might also be caused by coddling parents who never let her develop those skills. No matter what other problems this kid has I think the parents definitely need some parenting skills. And why was Aneska brought on stage? She's too young for that. It put her in "acting" mode and she was mostly concerned with playing to the audience. That made it hard to tell if she felt empathy, remorse, and other deeper feelings or if she really is disturbed. She was way too busy putting on a show to tell.
  23. I get the whole tiny house thing. If you read forums/Facebook posts, etc., people who live in them adjust very quickly to the size and regular-sized homes seem excessively large. Kind of interesting to read what it's really like from people who live in them long term. It's not all roses and sunshine but they really like them. Otoh, I don't know why people with kids still living at home would choose a tiny house unless the other option is homelessness. I didn't find any posts about parents and their kids in a tiny home. My guess is the kids would avoid the tiny house and start spending all their time at their friends' larger homes. A huge firestorm came through my area last year and burned almost 2,000 homes/businesses. (No homes burned around me but the fire came within 18 feet...yikes!!!). Anyway, there are a few tiny homes for people to live in until they rebuild and I gotta say they are freakin' adorable!!! Now that I've seen them in person I gotta say no RV in the world can hold a candle to these cuties! I definitely get the appeal. If I were rich I think I'd buy some land and build like 50 unique tiny homes around 500 sq feet each, load them up with charm, and start a tiny home community. (All permanent foundations.) There would be strict regulations so the community stays nice, etc. I wonder if something like that would be popular, especially if hgtv or FYI or dyi did a show about it. Yeah, if only I were rich, lol!
