And I wonder if they pulled a pre-taped episode with Mario (with guest Bobby Flay)? The episode didn't reflect the one described.

I wish they had done something closer to the A&E Laci Peterson murder story - using the real people instead of this dramatization. The comic relief of the Josh Charles and Heather Graham (plus their excellent wigs) makes me think we are watching a weird episode of Falcon Crest.

If CBS lined up all the other contestants and had them slap Paul on the feeds - I would subscribe.

I found Derrick interesting to watch because he was a master manipulator - but also kind. He demonstrated a maturity level rarely seen in the BB House. Paul is the exact opposite - a mean and entitled bully.

I have been wanting to try Dampfnudel since Paul made them in the Berlin episode of his City Bakes series. I guess it's the German half of me. Anyone know if they Paul and Mary did a Masterclass for this series? I've finished the one's on Netflix.

Yes. I sell new construction and in some areas building code, or even the lot, dictates the height of the basement walls. But Haley's bedroom doesn't look like a legal bedroom (haven't seen an egress window) so they may have fudged some of the construction. Or its a fictional house and they can do whatever suits the plot.

I caught Dean on a CW show - Terry Crews Saves Christmas. It was a fun show to watch and Dean did a good job helping people put together simple menus for Christmas entertaining. He also came across as a really nice guy, with a good sense of humor.

Happy that Timothy won - wish I could have gone to NYC to see his windows! I can't believe how horrible the one woman designer acted (Erin?). Part of being an adult is to be gracious whether you win or lose.

Another great one - Offshore - the first season focuses on the case of a federal officer who killed a young Native man in a McDonalds in Hawaii in 2011 and a parallel crime in 1932. From Honolulu Civil Beat and PRX. It is a really interesting look at race relations in Hawaii. Also am enjoying (can you say that about a murder podcast?) Missing & Murdered.
