  1. I'm not sure where to put memes but we laughed at these and I had to share. (It may have hit home even more because we just watched the SNL 50 documentary episodes, one of which was dedicated to this sketch.) Saw both on Reddit. Like the twist of saying "I got a sever" in the second one...
  2. One line of dialogue that stuck out to me. When Mark was talking to Devon about Gemma's death affecting him and he said, paraphrasing, "If Ricken died and his body burned..." Maybe this is a clue that it wasn't really Gemma's body? Perhaps she was burned beyond recognition? 🤔
  3. Didn't Jamie touch the stones and nothing happened, plus he couldn't hear them either? It seems like it would be a major change in established canon if he starts time traveling?
  4. Adam Scott and Ben Stiller (and Jon Stewart!) discuss this in their podcast for episode 9. They did a lot of experimenting when filming with innie Mark seeing the outside for the first time but ultimately decided to just stick to the main story and not go into all of the other stuff to stay focused on the main plot.
  5. That rings a bell, thank you!
  6. Please remind me how the book ended! It's been forever since I read them and they are all a blur.
  7. I really enjoyed this. There was just something really comforting about having "Carter" on my screen again in these crazy times.
  8. Louis confuses me. He dumped the finance because she reminded him of the accident. But Alice doesn't?!?! If anything, she should be an even worse reminder. Otherwise, I loved the episode and got teary a couple of times. I am absolutely loving Harrison Ford on this show. I just watched his episode of Conan Needs A Friend on YouTube (wanted to see the visuals instead of just the regular podcast) and he is basically Paul in real life lol!
  9. Poor Jimmy. I do not get how everyone has been ok with Louis. We know he's actually a very nice guy but if someone killed my spouse, I would not want my daughter hanging out with them and certainly wouldn't treat them. Wouldn't there be ethics issues around that anyway (not that this show isn't loosely goosey already)? I also didn't buy Sean with the doctor for even one second.
  10. I watch on Peacock so I wonder if it would've still shown up there. Either way, I'm glad to see they came to their senses.
  11. Forgot to mention, I noted Will mentioning his "adoptive" family in the doc so I was curious what he meant. Found this article from People magazine. If you don't want to click, it was his next door neighbors. On a lighter note, I did not realize the reporter who was caught in his underwear on a zoom during COVID (he claims it was "shorts") was Will! Haha!
  12. I'm not ready for this show to be over and it is a shame that HBO canceled it when the folks involved were willing to continue. Too bad it can't get picked up somewhere else. Definitely will re-watch!
  13. It seems like the team wanted to continue but HBO cancelled it. From a Vulture article: There weren’t any teary, meaningful good-byes on set, though, because when production wrapped in March, the creators, cast, and crew didn’t yet know that season three would be their last. HBO announced in August it would not pick up Somebody Somewhere for a fourth season, so Everett, Hiller, and Garrrison are battling all five stages of grief as they cope with the end of the series. “I’m not even acknowledging that it’s a finale of any kind,” Garrison says. (That’s stage one: denial.)
  14. Enjoyed this doc. I forgot Dana was diagnosed so quickly after Chris passed away. I had also forgotten how close Chris and Robin Williams were. Worth watching.
