Health and Wellness Chit-Chat: Your Primary Care Topic
AheadofStraight replied to JTMacc99's topic in Health & Wellness
I was given 1 mask (after telling her my preferences and trying a couple on) and told that in 30 days I'm allowed to switch once. Not very useful! I have to say though that I've slept pretty well the past 2 nights with the Solo so maybe that will work out okay. Thanks for the video! On facebook, they seem to be new masks in sealed packages - I have no idea on the sourcing of them though! -

@shapeshifter Interesting - no creases on my face at all. Though I feel like I have to reposition the straps on my head back into place at least once or twice per night. Wondering if my head is just larger than normal lol. I do feel that it gets tighter if I move, esp on my side and then I have to pull it out to loosen it a bit again. I'm claustrophobic so just this much of a mask has been a challenge, to say the least. The nasal pillows terrify me though I read with a deviated septum they might help (and I do have one). It's funny that you mention the n30 - I just purchased a p30i with some n30i cushions. (The mask is interchangable between the two.) The "i" version is with the hose overhead I guess. Hmmm, I hadn't seen the one you mentioned. It is frustrating that there are so many choices and they aren't cheap. I found a fb group where people sell them at a discount so I may try a few that way. -

Wondering how you are doing with the F&P Solo cushions? I got a CPAP 12 nights ago and that's exactly what I have. Been wondering if I should explore other options. I like it but I find it difficult as a side sleeper to get a position that I really like without it feeling like the cushions are pinching my nostrils shut. I bought a CPAP pillow that has cut-outs to make it easier but I'm not sure how much it has helped. -
OK, clearly I was not paying attention for a moment (very likely my dog was in my face lol) because I do not remember that she overheard anything about dating apps. Makes more sense now.

Nothing new to add to the discussion other than I thought the tech support person's opening line of "So what dating apps are you on?" to be really bizarre.

That is definitely the biggest downside. I have a list of my Hulu shows and I re-add them when I start over. Definitely a pain but a tradeoff for the price. I get offers on my previous emails and none of them come close to the BF deal. Usually it is a bundle deal, though the most recent one was 2.99 for 6 months (no bundle).

Interested to see how if differs from Sometimes When We Touch which was an excellent 3-part series on Paramount+.

I was really turned off with the forcing the idea of a baby upon Brian even though he stated upfront in the relationship that he didn't want kids. We see this all the time on shows with straight couples, so I guess it's good that it's being thrust upon gay men as well. /sarcasm (I have 2 kids and it still bothers me when shows do this!)

So Sir was stabbed and is just fine? Didn't need to go to a hospital to get stitches, had no lingering effects? He's got a bag strap across his back with no issues.

I really enjoyed the first season but at this point I am SO sick of Sir and his ramblings about "Gabrielle". I really hoped this arc was coming to an end but no, of course he gets stabbed in the spine and can still get away. I'm still watching but it is starting to turn into hate-watching for me.

I immediately wondered how much of the niceness was due to the presence of cameras.

Did you see the pic where it originally said 65 and he crossed it out to say that? Made me wonder if he lived longer than he expected!
